Situated in the Programmes, Policy & Impact Directorate, and reporting into the Head of UK Programmes, the Programme Lead, Carer Poverty Alleviation is a new role linked to the development of a new major programme operating in England, Scotland, and Wales. The Carer Poverty Alleviation Programme is a new Carers Trust programme under our strategic goal that no carer is pushed into poverty or is financially disadvantaged by their caring role.

The Programme Lead role is the fulcrum for this new partnership programme, will be comfortable to lead within and outside of the organisation and in developing a new team to drive the programme to success. This role will excite you if you are an established programmes specialist who is energised by achieving social impact via meaningful delivery partnerships, which in this case are local carer organisations (Carers Trust Network Partners).

About the Team:

The Brand and Strategic Communications team leads the development of brand and communications strategy which aligns to wider organisational objectives and works collaboratively with stakeholders across internal and external networks to execute it. We're focused on driving forward WaterAid's brand, advocacy and fundraising objectives.

About the Role:

As one of our Communications Managers you will employ strategic, insight-driven and creative approaches to communicate WaterAid's impact and engage target audiences in WaterAid's mission. In this role you will develop communications strategies which helps WaterAid maximise brand-reach and income-raising potential and lead cross-functional teams to execute them.

You'll also: 

• Specialise in the development of bespoke activity for key partnerships and private sector audiences, in close consultation with external partners.
• Champion on-brand messaging and creative which resonates with target audiences.
• Own and be responsible for the development of Strategic Communications Frameworks, which enable multi-disciplinary teams to work cohesively and effectively.
• Develop effective working relationships with colleagues across all directorates, fostering an environment of collaboration and when appropriate, challenging to deliver the highest quality work.
• Advise best use of communications budget to achieve set objectives.
• Commission and/or utilise insight to inform communications plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of communications activity, fostering a proactive and positive approach to learning and improvement within delivery teams.

About You:

• Education to a degree level or equivalent work experience.
• Demonstrable experience in developing, leading and executing high quality, effective communications strategies that achieve desired results.
• Experience in designing communications campaigns for a range of target audiences and advising on optimum distribution channels to reach them.
• Experience working in, or in partnership with, the private sector, with a sound understanding of corporate social responsibility and sustainability.
• Excellent time management skills, able to prioritise work across multiple projects to meet deadline.
• Ability to generate and develop creative and innovative ideas, with a good eye for brand, design, film and photography.

Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:

• Experience of international development issues and/or working in the voluntary sector in a communications role.
• An understanding of the ethical issues surrounding communications for international development.

The Marketing Campaign Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery, and measurement of defined marketing campaigns, seeking efficiencies and development opportunities for growth. This will support income generation, research, data capture and information security throughout the Museum. Responsibilities include managing and maintaining a CRM database of contacts, digital systems, records management, general administrative duties, HR and IT support.
Working pattern: 35 hours per week, usually worked from 10 – 6pm. Flexible/hybrid working offered for up 40% of hours to be worked from home.

The Foundling Museum is transforming how digital systems underpin the foundations of this small but mighty Museum and charity. The position of CRM & Systems Administrator sits at the heart of this continued transition, following the successful implementation and migration to Shopify, Xero & Beacon CRM in 2023.
This new role is essential to the success of Philanthropy and Partnerships, Director’s Office and the whole team, in providing effective research and administration support. The CRM & Systems Administrator will provide support across all fundraising areas including individual giving, corporate sponsorship and trusts and foundations as well as playing a vital role in keeping all Museum systems working effectively.
This includes processing donations and gift aid and maintaining records on the CRM. You will work as a key part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships team to help implement the Philanthropy and Partnerships strategy and streamline all CRM and supporter processes.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised individual with a flair for collaborative working and information management who is looking to expand their administration skillset and make a tangible impact on our work, in particular supporter relationship management.
Critical to this role and the ongoing project of managing information, income generation and communications, will be the collection, management and sharing of data within our data and digital eco-systems.

Key objectives in first 6 months:

Key responsibilities:
CRM Administration & Finance Processes

• Maintain and regularly update the CRM system by logging all applications made and pending, prospects, funding received, reporting deadlines, reports, thank you letters and all other supporter correspondence
• Process donations, pledges and ticket payments from individuals, organisations and trusts and foundations, ensuring gift acknowledgements on CRM are up-to-date and any information related to gifts, grants and donations received is captured accurately and consistently
• Day-to-day administration of the Museum’s Friends, patrons and corporate sponsorship schemes and 1700 Clubs, as directed by the Philanthropy and Partnerships team
• Support the maintenance of accurate financial records of funded projects

Data & Insights

• Assist in data capture and gathering, including statistics or insight to support reporting, business cases, reports and funding bids
• Research trusts, businesses, and individuals with a view to identifying potential supporters and maintaining an up-to-date and accurate records of such contacts, updating the team, CRM and prospect pipelines on changes to information
• Ensure that strict confidentiality and GDPR legislation and guidance is adhered to in all aspects of recording data and sharing information in research profiles
• Work with internal teams to appropriately segment and steward new contacts through the CRM, including making data selections for email marketing campaigns.

• Support Project Manager: Director’s Office with Leadership & Governance, including setting up and scheduling of Trustee meetings, ensuring hybrid options are delivered, catering etc
• Arrange staff away-days, outings and celebrations
• Deliver general administrative support to SMT and colleagues as required, including basic IT support and HR admin, as directed by the HR Manager
• Manage the ordering of office items, including stationary and support users with IT inductions, including DSE requirements and checklists

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organised Engagement and Communications Officer to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for building a fairer legal system through impactful events, engaging member outreach, and powerful communications. Working alongside the Director of Development and the Head of Communications, this role will work across teams to maintain and strengthen engagement through events, communications and corporate outreach. You will play an integral role in communicating our work as widely as possible and improving and increasing engagement with our supporters, including our members, donors and corporate partners.

The Engagement and Communications Officer will work to maximise income and support for JUSTICE through events (approximately 45% of the role), communications (approximately 30% of the role) and membership (approximately 25% of the role). They will report to the Director of Development and Head of Communications.

The JUSTICE team currently work in a hybrid manner. Staff members have access to office space in London, however, attendance is currently optional. 100,000s people in our communities have put down roots in the UK but are denied access to the welfare safety net (No Recourse to Public Funds).

Citizens UK has worked with Migration Exchange and Praxis to raise over £2m to develop a 5 year partnership to enable the movement to end NRPF.

This Senior Project role will be a core part of the support to the steering group of the partnership to make sure it runs effectively and achieves its potential.

This role will lead and coordinate all project management and tactical activities necessary to support the day-to-day functioning of the NRPF Partnership. Main Responsibilities

Reporting directly to X with  oversight from the NRPF Partnership CBG, the post holder will be expected to manage their own independent workload, as well as support the broader CBG. The main responsibilities are outlined below:

Working with the NRPF Partnership’s key stakeholders

• Developing and maintaining relationships with Partnership stakeholders 

• Working with the CBG to update outreach strategy as new needs emerge

• Building and maintaining trust and relationships across the whole Partnership and more widely (within and across sectors from migration to anti-poverty to children’s rights, etc.)

Strategic coherence

• Supporting the coordination of activities with partners to align strategies and actions and minimise duplication

Managing meeting/event logistics 

• Planning and managing the logistics of all Partnership meetings and gatherings of the Steering Group, working groups and CBG (e.g., dial-in, attendance, cancellations, etc.)

• Consolidating Working Group updates for Steering Group, including summarising meeting notes and highlighting key outputs and decisions so they can be easily shared with others across the Partnership

We are an award-winning national charity which trains over 9,000 young people affected by street violence each year in emergency first-aid through a team of 300 healthcare volunteers and youth workers.
