You will be an integral part of the capital campaign, managing the prospect pipelines, tracking prospects as they move through the cultivation cycle and supporting the fundraisers with their cultivation. You will also write and contribute to event biographies for our Special Event program during particularly busy periods.

Job Purpose:

Job Purpose
Join our dedicated Data & Technology department at Operation Smile UK and play a vital role in advancing our digital capabilities. Our website is central to reaching a broad audience with our vital work, and you'll be pivotal in ensuring our online presence is robust, accessible, and effective.
This full-stack role provides an excellent opportunity to lead and contribute across both front-end and back-end development activities. You'll collaborate closely with the Director of Data & Technology and Senior Database Manager to design and build systems that empower our Fundraising and Comms teams, delivering outstanding user experiences.
We aim to build greater in-house capacity for digital development, reducing reliance on external support for routine tasks and increasing automation on key platforms. If you are a hands-on technical lead with experience across various digital channels such as website CMS (e.g., WordPress), along with a solid understanding of front-end and back-end languages and technologies, you'll be a great fit. You will also play a leading role in ensuring the OSUK website user interface and user experience is fit for purpose.
As part of our small but ambitious team, you'll be an integral part of creating and implementing our Data and Digital strategy, directly helping us achieve our goal of supporting more children born with a cleft lip and cleft palate.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead in-house web development, initiating a cultural shift to minimise reliance on external agencies for website and platform creation.
- Play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's data and digital strategy.
- Serve as the technical product owner for all of OSUK's websites, digital & email platforms.
- Take full ownership of the Gravity Forms to Donorfy Custom API integration.
- Flare for producing modern, stylish and accessible designs, to support campaigns, general website conversion performance and brand.

Turner’s House is a small independent museum in Twickenham housed in a Grade II* listed building, open to the public since 2017. This is a key role in helping secure its long-term sustainability. The Partnerships Director will be responsible for leading all income-generating and related partnership activity (fundraising, commercial hires, marketing/PR, retail, commercial events, donor cultivation etc.), as well as being hands-on in ensuring the House is open and running smoothly, including keyholder responsibilities (opening/closing, occasional weekend or evening work). This is an exciting opportunity to shape income streams, build capacity, and work on site in a close-knit team.
- Lead and deliver a portfolio income strategy: trusts & foundations grants, individuals (Circles and Patrons), corporates/sponsorship, commercial events, commercial hires.
- Write, prepare, submit and manage grant applications and funding bids; manage relationships with funders (reporting, stewardship).
- Identify new revenue streams (e.g. venue hire for private/events, retail opportunities, location hires etc).
- Set and monitor income targets in conjunction with the Board of Trustees; evaluate performance and report regularly.
- Build and maintain partnerships with local organisations, heritage bodies, tourism, community groups and set a strategy for our Patrons and benefactors.
- Lead marketing and promotional activity to raise awareness, increase visitor numbers and attendance at events, promote venue hires, attract hires and donors.
- Oversee creation of promotional materials (print, digital), social media content, website updates.
- Use PR opportunities to profile Turner’s House in local/national media.
- Act as keyholder: opening & closing the building, ensuring security & visitor readiness once or twice a week as needed.
- Work on-site regularly to support visitor experience during public opening hours (Wed-Sun, plus special / evening events).
- Help ensure events and hires run smoothly, coordinating with House Director and volunteers.

Role Overview
The Supporter Care Team are looking to hire two Supporter Care Assistant posts who’ll provide excellent customer care; engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. The role will involve dealing with donations, ensuring that our records are kept updated on our database, running reports, and undertaking general admin duties.
About You
You’ll have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations.
You will have the ability to manage a busy workload and deadlines whilst taking ownership of problems to find a solution where possible, escalating to a manager where required.
Experience of Microsoft office is essential, as well as excellent administration skills and high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

We are based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, so we are easily accessible by road and rail. In this role, there is plenty of scope for working from home, although you will need to be in the office for two days a week minimum.
