The Events & Community Fundraising team plays a vital role in bringing people closer to that mission — through unforgettable experiences, empowering campaigns and opportunities for individuals to take action. We’re now looking for a creative, strategic and energised Marketing & Product Executive to join us and shape the next generation of supporter engagement.

In this role, you’ll lead the planning, development and delivery of exciting multi-channel marketing campaigns that inspire supporters to take on fundraising challenges such as the London Marathon, community initiatives, self-led challenges and ActionAid-run events. You’ll be hands-on and imaginative — creating bold, compelling content, particularly video for social platforms like TikTok and Meta, while championing an insight-led approach to storytelling and supporter recruitment (existing & potential). This role is also a driver in product development, maximizing opportunities to explore new events and community fundraising streams.

You’ll bring real innovation to our programme, identifying new ideas and fundraising propositions that resonate with our audiences. You’ll take these ideas from concept to launch — researching needs, testing assumptions, refining messaging and making sure every offer feels fresh, inclusive and meaningful. You’ll stay close to digital trends, experiment enthusiastically and evaluate campaign performance thoughtfully, using learning to fuel continuous improvement. Working alongside passionate colleagues across our Events & Community Engagement team, you’ll also help ensure every fundraiser feels valued and supported throughout their journey. You’ll collaborate with supporter administration and contact teams to ensure seamless communication touchpoints, and you’ll contribute to planning, forecasting and reporting to support confident decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a creative environment, manages multiple projects with confidence and takes pride in producing content that genuinely connects with people. You’ll bring experience in social-first video production and editing tools such as CapCut, VN or Adobe Premiere Pro, alongside a strong understanding of marketing tools, insights and analytics. You’ll be enthusiastic, collaborative and full of ideas, with a natural ability to communicate clearly and compellingly.

Accountant

Cavell is the charity that transforms the lives of nursing and midwifery professionals facing crisis and tough times. The need for Cavell has never been greater, and the charity is at its most critical point in its 108-year history as the demand for support is at an all-time high. Cavell is evolving their support offer to offer a Wellbeing Conversations service on a 12-month pilot aiming to help nursing and midwifery professionals to navigate feelings of stress, overwhelm or uncertainty.

The Role

We are looking for a compassionate, non-judgemental and empathetic individual who is experienced at supporting individuals in a Wellbeing role to co-deliver the Wellbeing Conversations Service. The successful candidate will use a blend of reflective listening, coaching-style questions, practical guidance and signposting to help nursing and midwifery professionals explore their stress, develop healthy coping mechanisms and empower them to address personal and work factors which are contributing to their stress.

This position operates as a job-share, and we are looking for someone to join the existing postholder in delivering the role.

Applicants should be comfortable working collaboratively and communicating effectively to provide seamless coverage and share responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Delivery:

• Deliver Cavell’s Wellbeing Conversations service including conducting triage calls and delivering virtual Wellbeing sessions ensuring high-quality delivery, consistency, and responsiveness to demand.
• Ensure exceptional record keeping, ensuring that all relevant data protection and privacy legislation is adhered to.
• Undertake administrative duties to support the delivery of the service, including data entry.
• Have regular peer supervision with their job-share.

Collaboration:

Literacy Pirates’ vision is for every child to have the literacy skills, confidence and perseverance to succeed at school and beyond. We provide free, after-school literacy support to children who are falling behind in class and who have fewer opportunities for additional support due to their personal circumstances than others. Person Specification

• Must hold a professional accountancy qualification: ACCA, CIMA, ACA or CIPFA.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as point of contact and spokesperson for all financial aspects of the charity and a trading subsidiary company;

• Providing complete and parallel financial accounting services to the charity and it’s trading subsidiary arm, maintaining proper records of all financial activities, and reconciling any inter-company issues between the charity and it’s trading arm;

• Implementation & administration of a Pension Plan for both the charity and the subsidiary as and when required;

• Providing financial expertise, leadership and high quality support to the management team in the UK and our international offices;

• Dealing with all queries and compliance issues relating to HMRC, Charity Commission and the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator;
