Over the last 5 years we’ve doubled our income from national corporate partnerships, but we know there is so much more we can do. That’s why we’re looking for an experienced Corporate Partnerships Manager, with exceptional communication skills to join our ambitious and friendly team.
It’s an exciting time to be joining Maggie’s, as we continue to open new centres across the UK. Over the last year we’ve brought on new partnerships with leading companies, such as Howden and Scotmid.
The Corporate Partnerships Fundraiser is a key role in our fundraising team and has two key aims:
- Driving significant income growth from corporate partnerships, by taking Maggie’s national partnership proposition to businesses to meet ambitious but achievable targets.
- Delivering and growing key partnerships with support from the other members of the Corporate Partnerships and Centre Fundraising Teams.
In order to achieve these aims, two other key elements of the job will be:
- Supporting with the development and delivery of corporate collateral and engagement tools to steward existing partners and attract new ones – such as webinars and networking events.
- Supporting Centre Fundraisers to grow partnership income from companies of all sizes and will assist in the development of engagement initiatives to cultivate new and existing supporters – for example by leading on our Christmas Corporate Appeal.
Although this is an office based role, a typical week will involve travel to corporate offices and other Maggie's locations. There will be a requirement to work occasional irregular hours.
Maggie's provide free cancer support and information in our centres alongside NHS hospitals and online.

We're looking for a passionate Marketing & Fundraising Executive to join our charity team and spearhead innovative strategies that will transform the lives of street dogs in Thailand.

Position: Head of Fundraising and Development
Location: Staffordshire/Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
Hours: Full time 35 hours per week
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent

Interview Date: The first-round of interviews will be held online on 16th May. The second round of interviews will be held in person at the Wolseley Centre, during the week of the 19th May.
The Role
Staffordshire Wildlife Trust had an income of £4.7m in year ending March 2024, and this has grown again in the last 12 months. To push ahead with the Trust’s vital work to restore the natural environment across Staffordshire, and to meet the strategic goals by 2030, the Trust needs to increase its revenue substantially.
You’ll be leading a dedicated fundraising and communications team currently made up of 10 staff but set to grow. This position is a new one, and one of the key recommendations of a fundraising research assignment conducted at the end of 2024.
The Head of Fundraising and Development will report to the Chief Executive and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Key tasks include:
• Develop and implement a five-year fundraising strategy
• Develop a fundraising culture across the Trust
• Co-develop bottom-up, evidence-led income forecasts with your team and relevant Senior Leadership Team members
• Take overall responsibility for all fundraising
• Oversee the exploration of new income generating opportunities
• Oversee the management of all fundraising systems/processes (fundraising database and financial information)
• Be responsible for all internal and external communications
• Embed a culture of high performance amongst the team.
About You
The Head of Fundraising and Development role is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and innovative fundraising professional to develop and deliver a comprehensive fundraising strategy. You will be an effective leader, comfortable delegating authority in areas where you have less expertise to the experts in your team.
An inspiring leader, you will have exceptional people management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. You should be willing to work flexibly as your team requires it, this may involve working at events outside of normal hours to support your team.
You will have experience of:
• Growing voluntary income in charities across a range of channels
• Successful fundraising across grants (charitable trusts, the National Lottery and Landfill Communities Funding), companies, individual giving, major donors and legacies
• Managing membership schemes and an understanding of generating income from Trading activities would be an advantage
• Change management, and an understanding that sustainable change requires taking people with you, and that this requires consultation, patience, flexibility and adaptability
• Developing, implementing and evaluating strategy across a range of income streams will be business as usual for you.
Your experience should be heavily-weighted towards fundraising rather than communications, although an understanding of communications and how it supports fundraising, is essential.

The School:
Merchant Taylors’ School is a large Independent Boys’ School, situated in 280 acres of parkland in Northwood, Middlesex. The School was founded in 1561, is owned by the Merchant Taylors’ Educational Trust and moved to its present site in 1933. There are four distinct boys’ day schools on campus. The Nursery, the Pre-Prep & the Prep cater for 370 boys, while the Senior School has over 960 pupils. The Senior School employs over 110 teachers and 160 Support staff across Merchant Taylors’ School.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Fundraising
· Developing and innovating the school’s regular giving programme, the Merchant Taylors’ Fund, to ensure a consistent income stream and increased participation from alumni, parents and friends.
· In conjunction with external consultants, running our (currently) biennial telephone fundraising campaigns and Giving Days.
· Liaising with school departments, clubs and societies to identify exciting projects to motivate supporters.
· Segmenting and targeting recipients for appeals to ensure the greatest impact and returns.
· Devising the strategy for promoting legacy giving as a means of supporting Merchant Taylors’, and to implement this strategy to increase the number of known legacy pledges to the school.
Stewardship
· Establishing and running a comprehensive benefactor stewardship programme that thanks and stewards donors at all levels, including legacy pledges, through regular communication and events.
Reporting
· Reporting on progress against all objectives to the Development and Alumni Relations Sub-Committee of Governors.
· Where appropriate, working with the Development Executive (Events and Communications), to produce benefactor report publications and contribute to other Development publications.
· Ensuring that all contact with OMTs and parents is recorded on the Development Office’s database, the Raiser’s Edge.

This is an exciting opportunity to be a proactive and integral part of the team delivering content for online and offline fundraising appeals, regular gift products and legacy marketing.
As the Fundraising Marketing Officer, you will support the Senior Marketing Officer in executing the annual fundraising and marketing strategy, with a strong focus on donor acquisition and stewardship. You will craft compelling, authentic copy to create fundraising appeals for both warm and cold audiences, aiming to inspire engagement and support.
Working collaboratively across the charity, you will drive and enhance marketing efforts across all fundraising products. You will proactively seek opportunities to grow and promote the charity's membership offering, developing clear and effective campaigns in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
In addition, you will work alongside the Senior Marketing Officer and Supporter Services team to analyse the donor journey at every touchpoint. By using best-practice benchmarking, you will identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate across teams to deliver an even stronger supporter experience.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Proven track record in not-for-profit fundraising marketing and a passion for leveraging stories to drive fundraising success.
- Experience of developing and implementing on and offline fundraising marketing campaigns, delivering them on time and on budget.
- A proven ability to write persuasive copy.
- Strong project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.
Salary: £35,000

Location: Remote (minimum of 6 times per year in head office in Norfolk and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation)
