Sense has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Philanthropy and Partnerships  team as our Trusts Officer. This is a 12 month fixed term contract, based between home and our offices in Kings Cross, London.

Sense has a strong track record in Trusts fundraising over many decades, with a talented, supportive fundraising team in place. We have six- figure and multi-year partnerships with leading UK grantmakers, and a portfolio of dedicated Trust supporters, but there is room to grow, and space to make your mark. 

The successful candidate will play an important part in delivering Sense’s strategy to reach 50,000 people with complex disabilities by 2026. Central to this strategy is securing the income needed to deliver and grow charitable services, covering children’s, arts, sports and capital projects, helping to bring forward the day when no-one is left of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential Trust and Foundation funders for priority projects
• Write funding applications, coordinating inputs and creating budgets as needed
• Work closely with operational and finance colleagues to maximise success
• Maintain accurate database records and monitor personal performance
• Secure income from a range of Trusts and Foundations to meet agreed income targets
• Steward a portfolio of funders to strengthen relationships, including thanking, reporting and organising visits
• Contribute to wider team and organisational goals by working with other members of the wider Philanthropy and Partnerships Team (which includes Philanthropy, Special Events, and Corporate)

Prostate Cancer Research - Trusts and Statutory Executive

Prostate Cancer Research is a research and patient engagement organisation focused on advancing ground-breaking research and interventions into diagnosis, treatment, and care to create a future where prostate cancer no longer threatens lives. Their focus is on delivering innovative solutions and improving quality of life for patients, families, and communities affected by prostate cancer, supporting and encouraging marginalised and underrepresented communities to be part of the positive changes they are working to achieve in research, treatment and care.

The integral role of Trusts and Statutory Executive will lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners to develop and manage a pipeline of strategic partners giving approximately £5,000 to £20,000, that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work. The post will be responsible for proactively researching new trust and statutory funding opportunities and working with the Trusts and Statutory Manager to support and lead on applications to new and existing funding partners (£20,000+). The post-holder will also provide excellent stewardship to build strong and sustainable relationships with the charity’s donors.

The ideal candidate will be a Trusts and Foundations fundraiser with demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with funders and partners, understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work. You will have a background in identifying and securing at least five-figure income from prospective Trusts and Foundations and statutory income sources, as well of producing high-quality and completing proposals, reports and presentations. You will be able to build and maintain relationships with funders and key stakeholders and have excellent communication and organisational skills, supported by an excellent attention to detail.

Overview of the Regional Coordinator role and the team

Thank you for taking an interest in applying for this role at Imperial Health Charity. We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Philanthropy Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis. In this role, you will be part of a small yet passionate 
and dynamic team raising income from major donors, trusts, corporate supporters and statutory bodies. 

You will be responsible for identifying and securing new gifts at the five-figure-plus level as well as delivering impactful stewardship to your own portfolio of major supporters such as through bespoke reports, hospital site tours and invitations to 
exclusive events. 

As a Philanthropy Manager, you will lead on a variety of fundraising propositions that help our hospitals to achieve more for patients, families and the local North West London community. By collaborating with colleagues from across the charity and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, you will oversee campaigns from the early stages all the way through to delivery and evaluation. 

You will also be responsible for achieving your own targets and objectives, as well as providing ongoing monitoring against agreed milestones and KPIs. You will ensure compliance with fundraising best practice at all times in accordance with the 
Fundraising Regulator.

We have a great opportunity for a Campaign Data Officer working for a fantastic medical health charity. This role will be perfect for someone with experience of using Power BI, analysing data and creating reports.

As part of this crucial role, the Campaign Data Officer will support the fundraising operations team to report on the department strategy for a large fundraising campaign and deliver complex information in a digestible and easy-to-understand format using PowerBI.

You will be responsible for creating intricate data reports across the department. You will work closely with colleagues to generate accurate and quality-assured reports for publication.

To be successful as the Campaign Data Officer, you will need:

• Experience in a similar role working on data analysis and reporting
• Understanding of management and functionality of CRM systems
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office products, primarily Excel, ETL tools and PowerBi

Mass Events Officer 

Annual Salary - £24,000 - £28,500 FTE, (£14,400 - £17,100 pro rata)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As Mass Participation Events Officer (Challenge Events Officer), you will play a key role in engaging supporters to take part in exciting fundraising Challenge Events, from the London Marathon to cycle events and adrenaline fuelled challenges like a sky-dive or abseil, raising vital funds for disabled children and young people. You will be responsible for recruiting participants, providing excellent supporter care throughout their fundraising journey, and ensuring long-term engagement with Challengers, while managing multiple projects to create a smooth, rewarding experience for all. Alongside supporting third-party events, you will leverage your skills in marketing, social media, and event planning to maximise participation and meet ambitious fundraising targets.

Please note: this role is managing and supporting our Challenge Events program (an industry standard term for all walking/running/cycling/adrenaline challenges) and supporting individual supporters who would like to take part in these events. There will be some opportunity to organise our own Challenge Events however, the management of Challengers flagship fundraising events sits within a different role.
