We have an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Manager to join our team and grow income from high-net-worth individuals and corporate supporters. You will identify, engage, and steward prospects to secure funding, while developing and implementing long-term relationship and stewardship plans.

Key responsibilities include:

• Researching and identifying potential major donors, determining appropriate stewardship pathways, and involving Trustees or staff as needed.

• Developing and supporting external fundraising committees to raise funds for local Forward Trust services.
• Researching and approaching potential corporate supporters, cultivating relationships, and securing funding.

• Managing the Fundraising Officer, providing support, motivation, and guidance.
• Representing Forward Trust at meetings, networking events, and conferences.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Proven track record of major donor fundraising, securing five-figure sums and managing effective stewardship pathways.
• Proven experience in identifying, managing, and growing corporate supporter accounts of at least five figures.
• Experience managing at least one member of staff.
• Skilled at managing high-level relationships internally (Trustees) and externally (high-net-worth individuals).
• Experience managing budgets related to your area of work.
• Proficient in using a CRM or other database to manage contacts.
• Understanding of GDPR principles and their impact on fundraising.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and compellingly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to understand departmental income and expenditure projections.

The role

As part of the Social Media Team and wider Digital Marketing department, you will support the day-to-day running of Family Action’s social media activity. Working with the Social Media Manager, you will help deliver engaging and consistent content across our main channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube - ensuring posts are accurate, timely and aligned with organisational priorities such as fundraising, brand awareness, service marketing, volunteering and influencing. 

Main Responsibilities:

· Content delivery: Support the Social Media Manager by drafting, scheduling, and publishing content across Family Action’s channels, ensuring posts are engaging, accessible, and aligned with organisational priorities.

· Community & performance: Lead community management, monitor trends, gather analytics, and report on performance to help improve engagement.

· Collaboration & creativity: Work with colleagues to surface stories, create visual content, and contribute ideas for campaigns.

· Service support: Help services use social media safely and effectively through training, guidance, and managing access to accounts

· Good understanding of social media platforms and experience creating or adapting engaging content.

· Strong writing skills, with creativity and attention to detail in both text and visuals.

· Ability to use basic design/video tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut) and willingness to learn new systems.

· Organised and proactive, able to prioritise tasks, gather analytics, and report on performance.

· Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work with colleagues across the organisation - including supporting services to use social media safely and effectively through guidance, training and managing access to accounts.

As Trusts & Grants Fundraiser (Interim), you will play a key role in driving income from trusts, grant funders, and statutory bodies to support the organisation. Working closely with the Senior Trusts & Grants Fundraiser, you will identify, research, and approach funding bodies, leading on specific applications and contributing to larger bids.

The organisation are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, proven experience in bid writing and reporting, and the ability to research and identify new funding opportunities. You’ll be highly organised, confident managing multiple priorities, and able to build strong relationships with funders through outstanding stewardship.
