We are looking for a thoughtful, relational and data savvy Individual Giving and Philanthropy Lead to strengthen and grow our community of supporters. This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraiser who wants to take ownership of a key income stream, shape strategy and bring creativity and care to supporter relationships.

This is a hands-on and strategic role that blends relationship building, storytelling, data management and fundraising techniques. You’ll work closely with the CEO, trustees, the corporate partnerships lead and our communications lead to develop a supporter care programme that reflects our values, grows engagement and ultimately increases income. You will also begin to develop our major donor strategy, with support from senior leaders and existing networks. Due to funding for this post, you will split your time between raising funds for Pecan’s Southwark Foodbank, as well as Pecan’s other programmes and community services, and you will liaise closely with colleagues across both these areas.

You will need to be confident in working independently, but you will be backed by a supportive and engaged senior team who understand the importance of fundraising and want you to succeed.

Main Responsibilities:
Working with the CEO, trustees corporate partnerships and communications team, your main responsibilities will be:

• Individual Giving and Donors: develop, manage, monitor and improve the individual giving fundriasing portfolio - with the initial aim of generating in excess of £250,000 per annum from individual giving. 
• Relationships with local churches and their congregations: work with the trustees and senior leadership team to deepen our relationships with out (cross denominational) member churches and to build links with additional churches in and near the area and local umbrella Christian organisations. 
• Relationships with local institutions: work with other local institutions such as schools and business to find individual donors who will financially support Pecan's work. .
• Fundraising Appeals: coordinate fundraising appeals including the Pecan and Foodbank Christmas fundraising campaign, Big Give Campaigns, and other appeals across all income and media streams.
• Fundraising Systems and Processes: Oversee our fundraising systems and processes using our new CRM (Beacon) to ensure data is accurate, GDPR compliant, segmented and usable for effective analysis, reporting and engagement. 

Key Requirements (specific skills, qualifications required):

• Proven experience in individual giving fundraising, including appeals and donor journeys.
• Experience manageing and stewarding a portfolio of regular and one-off donors.
• Experience of using and maintaing a fundraising CRM (e.g. Beacon, Raiser's Edge, Donorfu, Salesforce), including data segmentatiuon and analysis.
• Experience writing compelling donor communications (letters, emails, thankyous, updates). 

Desirable knowledge/expertise

• Exposure to, or experience with, major donor fundraising (e.g. researching prospects, supporting cultivation or stewardship).
• Understanding of Pecan's values and how they shape organisational culture.
• Knowledge of Peckham and the London Borough of Southwark.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising or similar professional body.

The Charity

The Youth Adventure Trust is a youth development charity working with vulnerable young people aged 11 to 16 years old from Somerset, Wiltshire and Swindon. Our outdoor activity based YAT Adventure Programme enables young people to challenge themselves, experience success, learn to go beyond their own expectations and grow in confidence. Through a series of residential camps and day activities they are able to build resilience, self esteem and develop social and life skills. The YAT Resilience Programme works to the same outcomes through a year long programme of monthly activities, home-based challenges and reflective practice. Our Mentoring Programme works with those young people in need of some additional individualised support at the end of our other programmes. The Trust’s Bursary Programme is open to all those young people who have completed an initial programme, in order to assist their next steps into further activities. Our aim is to make a lasting improvement to the lives of vulnerable young people. All our services are provided completely free of charge to the young people who are nominated by schools and other youth organisations to take part. 

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and motivated Programme Manager to deliver, manage and support our YAT Adventure Programme.

Responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the key point of contact to organise, deliver and oversee the Adventure Programme to a group of young people, including managing and supporting residential adventure camps and activity days throughout the year.

• Recruiting young people to the programme, working in collaboration with our referral partners including schools and other organisations, ensuring all involved have an excellent understanding, relationship and experience with the Youth Adventure Trust.

• Working in partnership with the young people’s families to promote full attendance, effective participation and ensure they have all the information they require. 

• Carrying out direct work with young people to help support their needs and fulfil the Youth Adventure Trust’s aims.

• Providing ongoing feedback to young people, parents, carers and schools.

• Supporting the effective monitoring of the programme and measurement of young people’s developmental outcomes.

• Working with the Mentoring Managers to select and support young people moving on to the Mentoring Programme, and promote take up of the Bursary Programme. 

• Ensuring the highest standards of support, safety and safeguarding across the programme and all aspects of the Youth Adventure Trust’s work.

• Taking the lead with day-to-day administration and management of the programme. This will include maintaining a database, producing written communications and reports, information leaflets, website updates, budget monitoring, booking and negotiating with providers, and an array of detailed record keeping.

• Contributing to organisational planning and development, including supporting the development of further opportunities for young people. 

• Supporting the fundraising team through providing feedback, reports or event support.

You will also;

• Be involved in sector networking and awareness raising on behalf of the Trust.

• Act as an ambassador for the Youth Adventure Trust at all times.

The post is subject to a six months’ probationary period.

The Candidate

To be up to the challenge you’ll need an excellent understanding and a proven track record of relevant experience working with vulnerable and challenging young people. You’ll need demonstrable skills at building effective relationships with young people, parents/carers and professional organisations. You’ll need strong influencing and motivational skills; the capacity to get the best out of people and confidently deal with issues and challenges. You’ll be an excellent communicator, planner and problem solver, a strong team player and an exemplary role model. 

We need someone with:- 

• Commitment to safeguarding and dedication to promoting the welfare of young people.

• Relevant experience of managing young people, preferably in a residential environment as well as outside of this.

• Experience in working in partnership with other professional organisations and parents/carers.

• Strong leadership and team skills to motivate, support and work alongside a team of volunteers, activity instructors and logistics staff. 

• Self-motivation with the ability to work on their own initiative to plan and manage their workload.

• Strong IT skills including experience of MS Office, web based platforms and databases.

• Excellent administrative skills and a methodical and thorough approach.

• The ability to perform well and problem solve in high-stress and changing situations. Ability to be flexible and dynamic in approach.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A positive attitude, high energy and enthusiasm for the work of the Youth Adventure Trust; an understanding of the positive impact outdoor adventure can have on vulnerable young people, and a desire to help inspire young lives.

In addition:-

• The ability to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends as required is essential - the role includes attending several residential camps over the year, and some weekend days working on activities. If you are looking for a predictable 9-5 work environment, this won’t be the right fit.

• A full current driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required.

Founded in 1977, Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP) is a registered charity (1067908) and accredited museum, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The Park is an established leading international destination for sculpture, inspiring everyone to enjoy and engage with art, nature, creativity, and our shared humanity. YSP presents work by world-renowned artists, including Barbara Hepworth, Henry Moore, Damien Hirst and Elisabeth Frink. Overview of the Role

As YSP approaches its 50th anniversary it is at a pivotal moment in its history. The Trustees and Senior Leadership Team are developing proposals to secure the financial future of YSP for the next 50 years. The Head of Development will play a key part in realising that ambition by supporting a range of activities including fundraising for capital projects to nurture and grow our supporter base.

YSP is looking for an ambitious, experienced and organised individual with an excellent understanding of fundraising to play a central role in securing YSP’s future.

As Head of Development, you will work closely with Trustees, the Director and Senior Leadership Team (especially the Commercial Director, Head of Programme & Head of Estates and Projects). You’ll be working on direct marketing campaigns that engage and inspire people to donate. And make it as easy as possible for them to choose the way they give. As part of the team, you’ll be innovative in a changing fundraising and external environment, to achieve ambitious annual income targets.

You’ll assist with and, when required, project manage direct marketing activities through campaign, project, and agency and supplier management in order to retain existing donors and acquire new ones. To ensure everyone feels good about their donation.

This role will primarily have a focus on cash appeals and raffl es at Parkinson’s UK.

• Assist with and, when required, project manage direct marketing campaigns, both online and offl ine, maximising income through acquisition and stewardship communications to secure one-off and regular gifts.
• Manage relationships with creative, print and response handling agencies working on campaigns.
• Support the Senior Individual Giving Offi cers in achieving strategic objectives, monitoring income and expenditure and using database analysis to inform and improve the individual giving programme.
• Integrate the direct marketing programme into Fundraising and Experience Directorate activities and support the overall Parkinson’s UK strategic plan.

• Proven experience of successfully scheduling and managing campaigns to deliver results against agreed objectives and targets.

Legacy Stewardship Manager

The Legacy Stewardship Manager will plan and deliver an ambitious new legacy stewardship strategy to bring about growth in future legacy income.  It will diversify the current legacy stewardship programme to convert more legacy prospects and maintain more pledgers using a combination of relationship and mass fundraising activities. It will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality communications and experiences which make supporters feel inspired, valued and deepen relationships with them over the long-term.

This role is critical in growing future legacy income for RNID, which currently represents 72% of RNID’s income. It will play a pivotal role in a Legacy Fundraising Team of four people, reporting into the Head of Legacies, working alongside the Legacy Marketing Manager and line managing the Gifts in Wills Specialist Officer.

This role is a new addition to a growing team in an organisation where legacy fundraising has a high profile.  It is an ideal next step for an experienced and confident legacy fundraiser wanting to make their mark by growing the legacy stewardship programme to a new ambitious level that matches an increased investment in legacy acquisition.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of senior-level fundraising experience, ideally with major donors and foundations in the US and/or Europe.
• Proven track record of securing six-figure + gifts, including new donor acquisition and multi-year commitments.
• Deep understanding of the climate philanthropy and/or food system transformation space.
• Experience working in international NGOs or with cross-country fundraising collaboration.
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills across sectors and cultures.
• Strong writing and proposal development skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: comfortable building systems, not just managing them.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (minimum C2-level English).
• Strong analytical skills and experience measuring the success of fundraising activities.

Systems Coordinator

We're seeking a Fundraising Systems Coordinator to coordinate fundraising operations and help transform young lives through music.

Position: Systems Coordinator (interally known as Fundraising Systems Coordinator)

Location: Gloucester/hybrid (minimum of 2 days in the office per week)

Hours: Full-time or Part Time, 0.8-1.0 FTE (30-37.5hrs week)

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 pro rata

The Role

As Fundraising Systems Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the charity’s fundraising operations. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of funders, grants, and donations, enabling them to meet fundraising targets and support young people across Gloucestershire.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the implementation and management of a new CRM system to streamline fundraising operations
• Coordinating the submission and reporting of over 80 funding applications annually
• Managing communications and reporting processes for active grants
• Maintaining accurate donor and funder records in line with GDPR
• Leading funder stewardship, ensuring regular tailored communication with funders
• Researching new funding opportunities and presenting findings to senior leadership
• Writing small funding applications using existing resources (with support provided)
• Coordinating a small programme of fundraising cultivation events
• Providing administrative support to the fundraising team, including organising meetings, taking minutes, and staying informed on sector developments

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience of using project management tools/workflows/CRM systems, understand the importance of data in demonstrating impact and be able to manage an ever-evolving range of priorities, deadlines and specific funder requirements.

Essential skills and experience include:

• Strong IT and systems skills, including CRM and project management tools
• Experience in fundraising operations, grant management or similar roles
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Based within commuting distance of Gloucester

It would be a bonus if you also have:

• Experience in fundraising stewardship or stakeholder engagement
• Knowledge of Gift Aid and UK giving patterns
• Experience working in the arts, youth, voluntary or community sectors
