DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview
•Support the Supporter Retention Manger (Loyalty) to design and deliver MAP’s individual giving retention strategy. Including bespoke welcome and ongoing multi-channel supporter journeys, for UK and international supporters
•Support the Supporter Retention Manger (Loyalty) to review individual giving retention activities and supporter journeys – developing a strategic approach and annual planning with a focus on regular giving and growing life time value
•Champion an insight-driven, supporter-led approach across campaigns and collaborative projects

Campaign Management
•Work with the Supporter Retention Manager (Loyalty) to optimise MAP’s regular giving programme and supporter journeys across Individual Giving, through a variety of online and offline channels
•Support and project manage income and retention campaigns to our warm audiences to maximise income and loyalty. Including but not limited to: data segmentation, scheduling, feedback management, agency liaison, results monitoring and end of campaign analysis
•Work with the Individual Giving Officers (Cash, Digital, Legacy and Offline Acquisition) to provide the best supporter experience possible, tailoring to and identifying different audience segments
•Support with the development of audience segmentation and testing plans to improve life-time value, retention and multiple levels of support
•Ensure processes and systems are in place to track and meet KPIs, including development of robust testing plans to optimize campaigns based on insight
•Write compelling email copy, build and schedule email sends
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
•Build strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless campaign delivery and holistic supporter experience
•Manage the day-to-day relationships with external agencies and suppliers, including telemarketing agencies, print-houses, fulfilment houses and creative agencies etc

•Work with teams across MAP to source compelling stories, programmatic information and impact stats suitable for campaigns

Reporting and insights
•Championing a test and learn approach: identifying opportunities, developing tests and reporting on results
•Ensuring campaigns are set up in order to effectively track and monitor performance so lessons learned can be carried forward
•Reporting on campaign performance and conduct end-of-campaign reviews - analysing data to spot trends and make recommendations for future campaigns
•Proactively share insight and promote individual giving by internally communicating the impact of retention, supporter journeys and committed long-term supporters (regular giving)
Invoice processing and administration
•Support the management of the Individual Giving budget, including the processing of invoices and other expenditure documents, working on MAP’s account software, X-ledger

Experience
Essential
•Experience of working in Individual Giving or Fundraising with a proven record of achieving income generation targets OR Experience of working in Individual Giving/Supporter Engagement with a proven record of developing supporter journeys, audience insight and retention campaigns that improved retention and sustainable income. MAP welcomes applications from people with relevant transferable experience e.g. marketing.

The Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Digital Marketing Officer to support our Marketing & Communications Manager. In this role, you will be involved in the development and delivery of a variety of digital marcomms campaigns, with a specific responsibility to support the Fundraising Team in their goal to increase donor engagement, retention and acquisition.
You will support the MarComms Manager to reach our audiences through a variety of channels, including email marketing, social media and ads, website content and impactful storytelling. This role requires a creative thinker, a data-driven approach and a passion for making a difference. Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential. Great writing and graphic design skills are required, as is an interest/aptitude for photography/videography.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning – Fundraising Team
- Work with Fundraising and MarComms Teams to develop and execute a multi-channel digital fundraising strategy.
- Identify target audiences and craft tailored messaging for different donor segments.
- Develop, track and report on KPIs to measure the effectiveness of digital fundraising efforts, using insights to refine strategies.
Campaign Management
- Support the MarComms Manager to plan and deliver integrated campaigns across PR, website, social media and ads, and email marketing.
- Work with the Senior Digital Marketing Officer to align campaigns with wider digital marketing activities.
- Optimise campaigns using A/B testing, donor insights and performance data to improve engagement and conversion rates.
- Work with external agencies on lead generation campaigns to increase the database.
Digital Content Creation - General
- Support the MarComms Manager and Senior Digital Marketing Officer with the development of digital content (with primary responsibility for fundraising), including:
- Email campaigns and newsletters.
- Social media content and ads.
- Impact stories, video content and blog posts.
- Website donation pages and landing pages.
- Ensure content is engaging, on-brand and optimised for conversions.
- Social media planning, management, creation and report.
Email Marketing
- Fundraising:
- Work with the Data and Stewardship Officer to grow our donor email lists.
- Develop and implement email sequences for donor acquisition, engagement and retention.
- Monitor and optimise open rates, click-through rates and conversions.
General

- Work with the Data and Stewardship Officer to keep MailChimp and Donorfy databases up-to-date with data which is cleansed and shared on a regular basis.

Reporting to: Ivy Street Family Centre Trustees

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations Director reports directly to the Trustee Board and is responsible for the following:
1. Working with the Trustees
- Overall vision and mission setting: Developing the use of the services and the building and increase the impact of Ivy Street for the benefit of the local community.
- Fundraising: Raising funds from a variety of sources to ensure the long term financial security of the charity, particularly focussing on rental income from the facility.
- Financial: Overseeing finance (with the assistance of a Trustee Treasurer) and ensuring that regular, accurate financial reports are provided to the Trustees and accurate records are kept, and providing an Annual Report for the annual accounts.
- Compliance: Ensuring that all legal requirements are met:

WellChild is the national charity for seriously ill children. Our vision is for every child or young person with complex medical needs to be thriving at home. Through a UK-wide network of children’s nurses, home and garden transformation projects and family support services, WellChild, who have Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex as its Patron, exists to ensure this growing population of children and young people have the best chance to thrive at home and in their communities.
WellChild is part of the Digital Services Consortium, a coalition of 12 charities and similar organisations all focused on driving digital inclusion for disabled or seriously ill children, young people and their families across the UK.
The Digital Inclusion Programme is a new project at WellChild with the aim of providing equipment and digital skills training to families who have children with complex medical needs, specifically targeting harder to reach and diverse families. Being digitally excluded has a negative impact on people’s access to health care and social engagement and this newly created and exciting role will make a real difference to the lives of those supported.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking an empathetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated person to join our friendly and supportive team as a Digital Inclusion Officer to work directly with charity beneficiaries - parents and carers of children with complex medical needs who are digitally excluded.
Purpose of the role:
This is an exciting new role at WellChild, and the Digital Inclusion Officer will be vital to the success of this project, helping to shape it from the very beginning. This opportunity will see you delivering and facilitating targeted outreach and digital inclusion support, including training and workshops to those harder-to-reach and digitally excluded families helping them improve their digital skills. This will be achieved through development and provision of training utilising Good Things Foundation’s ‘Learn My Way’ resources enabling these families to become digitally included and supporting them to engage with our parent carer community – The WellChild Family Tree.
This will be achieved by networking with community organisations, services and groups with a particular focus on those harder-to-reach and digitally excluded families. This role is also an opportunity to develop a new volunteer programme for digital champions to help feed into and grow this new service area ensuring our digital inclusion offer is sustainable in the long term.
The Digital Inclusion Officer will also be responsible for developing ways to provide ongoing support to the service users, encouraging and supporting them to join our parent carer community, or working with the wider family team to create new tools to connect these families, reducing their isolation and providing them with peer support, guidance and opportunities to take part in activities and events offered through our WellChild Family Tree.
Working within the Families Team as part of the broader Programmes Team and reporting to the Family Programm Manager, this role will lead the development and delivery of our digital inclusion project.
There are three key parts to this role:
Outreach and identification of families – working with WellChild staff, external organisations and stakeholders to design and deliver ways to identify and recruit digitally excluded families to the programme so they can become digitally included and access much needed support and guidance.
Development and delivery – using a user-led, test-driven approach to shape WellChild’s digital inclusion offer to deliver, facilitate and coordinate support and workshops providing targeted training to improve digital skills to harder-to-reach groups. This will also include the provision of equipment and data enabling these groups to be digitally included.
Sustainability and engagement – Monitor and evaluate programme’s success and identify ways to ensure the digital inclusion programme can develop as a sustainable service by developing a network of volunteer champions to support the programme delivery, promotion and engagement of service users. Working with wider teams to create resources and connect families to our parent carer community – The WellChild Family Tree.
You will also be expected to help identify case studies that can be used to promote the work of the charity, whilst monitoring & evaluating activities and engagement, producing reports as necessary. Throughout your work you will embed safeguarding processes and policies to keep families safe.
You will be able to:
- Demonstrate recent experience in supporting vulnerable people.
- Demonstrate the ability, skills and/or experience delivering digital inclusion training, developing and shaping content to the needs of the service user.

The Policy and Public Affairs Manager will monitor and map the criminal justice policy landscape, tracking developments across the system. They will engage with MPs, civil servants and key stakeholders, bringing evidence from our membership and the voices of those impacted directly by the criminal justice system to government to influence change.
The postholder will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have demonstrated evidence of impact in policy and public affairs. Main responsibilities
Public Affairs (50% time)
- Develop and implement the CJA’s public affairs and influencing strategy to advance the CJA's objectives.
- Work with CJA members on influencing specific legislation, including campaigning around bills, writing amendments, and working with MPs and Peers to promote them within the legislative process.
- Stakeholder engagement (Parliament): Build and maintain relationships with key policy makers and parliamentarians through face-to-face meetings, providing briefings to MPs and Lords for Parliamentary debates, preparing written/oral questions, and attending Select Committees, APPGs, Parliamentary receptions and other relevant roundtables and events.
- Stakeholder engagement (other): Build and maintain relationships with other key stakeholders, including Police & Crime Commissioners, the Victims Commissioner, HM Inspectorates, civil servants, and other relevant bodies.
Policy and Research (40% time)
- Monitor policy and political debates and developments on criminal justice issues, horizon-scanning emerging policy issues, and where appropriate, disseminate and brief colleagues and CJA members.
- Maintain a repository of evidence briefings from CJA members.
- Identify proactive and reactive opportunities to promote and embed CJA and members recommendations and research.
- Produce high quality and influential policy briefs, reports, position papers, and responses to consultations, to advocate for changes in policy and practice put forward by CJA members.
- Lead on the monitoring of policy engagement and impact by using our evaluation tools and work with external evaluators as required to capture impact and utilise learning.
- Work with CJA members, people directly impacted by the justice system and other key stakeholders to harness and amplify their expertise and insights.
- Lead the co-ordination and establishment of member expert groups to inform our policy work.
- Develop opportunities for joint working with researchers / research organisations and manage that partnership work, including co-ordinating the CJA research symposium.
Other (10% time)
- Work with the Communications and Engagement Manager to respond to media and other communication opportunities to promote the CJA’s work and to contribute to national debate on criminal justice issues.
- Work with the CJA team to recommend and secure relevant speakers and presenters for CJA meetings and events.
- Support the Communications and Engagement Manager to develop content for the website and other internal and external communications, such as blogs and articles.
- Contribute to the general administration and delivery of CJA programmes, events and overall objectives.
- Work with the Director to support the development of potential fundraising bids and reporting progress to funders.
- Conduct the duties of the job description in accordance with the operational policies of the CJA, including the Diversity and Adult Safeguarding Policies.
- Maintain good working relations with trustees, staff and other stakeholders.
- Maintain up to date and accurate records of contacts, engagement and stakeholder areas of expertise.
