We are looking to appoint a new Digital Communications Officer to play a key role in helping SportsAid build vibrant and engaged online communities, delivering content and fostering meaningful interactions across our digital platforms.

Our new digital community engagement platform will be a cornerstone of SportsAid’s digital strategy, providing an essential space for athletes and their parents to access tailored resources and training, connect with peers, and feel part of a supportive community.

Your focus will be on:

· Planning and producing content for the online community platform, ensuring regular updates, discussions, and engagement opportunities

· Day-to-day management of SportsAid’s social media channels, amplifying stories, celebrating achievements, and engaging with a wider audience

• Creating a mix of written, visual, and video content to drive engagement and audience growth.

Does this sound like you?

· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Experience managing social media platforms, particularly Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and TikTok

· A passion for sport and strong understanding of the sports industry and the unique experiences of athletes

The salary is £31,250 p.a (pro rata), working across four days a week, and opportunities for flexible working are available. Actual salary c.£25,000.3 years fixed term contract

SportsAid Head Office in London (near London Bridge) with hybrid working. We are normally all in the office on Mondays and one other day of our choice. We are flexible about start times to help with the cost of commuting and we are genuinely flexible all round.

Purpose of the Assistant Registrar role:

As our Assistant Registrar, you will contribute towards administering the legal and logistical aspects of collections management for outward and inward loans, the maintenance of the Accessions Register, and coordinating regular auditing checks

Key responsibilities of our Assistant Registrar include:

• Support in the development and maintenance of Collection policies, procedures, and standards
• Ensure that full, proper, and legal documentation of all Museum transactions concerning Collection material is implemented in accordance with Museum policy and procedure
• Assist in the administration and monitoring of the documentation, handling, and transportation of objects in support of curatorial activities
• Help provide advice and training for Museum staff and volunteers on Collections Management
• Act as courier, both virtually and in person, when assigned, for the transportation of objects nationally and internationally
• Keep abreast of changes in government legislation and museum standards relating to Collections Management, by examining current practice in other institutions, by engaging with mutual interest groups and implement improvements as necessary
• Support the wider team in aiding the successful delivery of collections related activities such as exhibitions, touring exhibitions and public events
• Ensure appropriate insurance/indemnity cover is in place for all objects on loan to and from the Museum
• Support with exhibition and touring logistics, including devising loan agreements, obtaining condition assessments and arranging packing and transport or objects
• Ensure location tracking of objects is kept up to date throughout the loan process
• Undertake loan inspections for current and potential outward loans
• Contribute towards the development and maintenance of Collection records, including the Accession Register and documentation systems
• Support in the analysis of CMS data, including research into provenance and copyright status in order to ensure accuracy, conformity with Cataloguing Rules, Collections Management policy and procedure

What we are looking for in our Assistant Registrar:

• Degree level qualification or equivalent experience in a museum or heritage environment
• Practical experience in museum documentation and collections management
• Experience in the use of Collections Management systems, including Collections Management databases, and literate in Microsoft packages
• Experience in an assistant registrar or documentation/collections officer post in a museum or heritage organisation
• Knowledge of UKRG reports and the Government Indemnity Scheme, and the processes involved in administering the scheme
• Experience in undertaking and coordinating storage audits within a heritage organisation
• Knowledge of Collections Management standards and able to demonstrate practical experience of their application in a heritage environment
• Experience handling a wide variety of object types and in moving, packin,g and transporting museum objects
• Knowledge and experience in the logistics of transporting museum objects

Main Responsibilities:

Leadership

1. As a member of the Operational Leadership Team and wider Senior Leadership Team, work collaboratively and take collective responsibility for the strategic management and leadership of the organisation.

2. Work closely with the CEO, Treasurer and Board of Trustees to facilitate good governance and risk management.

3. Manage, maintain and develop all financial systems and control; increasing their impact and quality, and implementing best practices in financial management.

4. To supervise finance assistants and ensure that they are adhering to financial code of practices.

Financial Management

1. Lead and manage all aspects of the financial cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, fixed asset management, reserves & designated fund management and financial reporting.

2. Work with HR & Payroll Officer to manage and retain oversight of the day to day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and general ledger maintenance, including the reconciliation of petty cash, credit cards and all bank accounts on a monthly basis reviewing and approving payment runs and payroll.

3. Work with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to prepare the annual budgets and forecasts.

4. Lead and manage the provision of regular budget monitoring and reports to budget holders.

5. Assist with the budget preparation for funding bids. Manage, monitor and keep track of any grants, funding or commissioned income, working with relevant managers to provide relevant financial information for inclusion in monitoring reports.

6. Lead and manage the provision of quarterly financial reports to the Board and advise them on financial issues as appropriate

7. Provide insightful financial analysis and reporting to inform and support organisational management, development and decision[1]making, and funding applications across the organisation.

8. Work with the CEO to prepare medium term financial forecasts for the organisation to support strategic decision-making and delivery of strategic priorities.

9. Lead on the audit process and the preparation of year end accounts to trial balance including preparation of the audit file and the closing down of the accounts on our accounting management system to ensure that the organisation is compliant with legal requirements and good practice.

10. To work closely with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and designated Trustees to advise, review and cost the annual pay award.

11. To provide back-up and holiday cover for the processing of monthly payroll.

12. To work with and support the HR & Payroll Officer in providing payroll information and reconciling payroll monthly.

Governance and compliance

1. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements (e.g. Companies House, HMRC and the Charity Commission).

2. Attend Trustee Board meetings to report on financial matters, including the identification and management of financial risk, and provide any relevant reports.

3. To support the Trustees, SLT and line managers in managing our finances carefully and within our financial means, through provision of advice, guidance, support and training.

4. To be the main point of contact with external auditors.

5. To ensure that robust financial controls are in place, underpinned by appropriate financial policies and procedures and to ensure that they are adhered to and that the organisation is protected from fraud and error.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer passionate about young people and youth work. We’re looking for someone to work across all of our Youth Zones, particularly focusing on an AI project. The Youth Zone Network Gen AI project aims to address the digital divide by equipping young people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to navigate and benefit from AI. Delivered across six Youth Zones, the programme blends creative exploration of generative technologies with structured digital skills development.

As our Project Officer, you will support the management and delivery of the Gen AI project across the Youth Zones and will champion integration of AI into wider youth work, including related Network projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering training to youth workers in a train-the-trainer model
• Supporting high-quality session delivery with  young people
• Co-ordinating programme management, evaluation and quality assurance to track engagement and outcomes

The role involves regular time spent in Youth Zones during evening sessions, working directly with staff and young people.

No prior experience or knowledge working with AI is required for this role – just a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in AI.

Rainbow Migration is the longest-running charity in Europe dedicated to supporting LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system and has been campaigning for their rights since 1993. We are recruiting a Senior Casework and Service Coordinator to assist the Support Services Manager, provide guidance and advice to colleagues, and manage incoming queries from service users.

Rainbow Migration has grown in recent years from a small charity generating £200k income in 2019 to £1M in 2024. The Senior Casework and Service Coordinator is a new role that will take on some of the responsibilities of the Support Services Manager, freeing the manager up to work on service development and strategic matters.

Role overview

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week). Working part-time (minimum 28 hours) will be considered. Occasional work in the evenings and at weekends may be required but with plenty of notice. Rainbow Migration encourages staff to maintain a good work life balance and has a TOIL system in place.

Salary: Starting at £36,994 with potential annual step increases up to £41,315 (pro rata if working part time), plus statutory employer’s pension contribution. In addition to an annual step increase, we consider giving a separate inflationary increase every April.

Location: Rainbow Migration’s wheelchair accessible offices are based between Vauxhall and the Oval, London. This role will have an office-based contract but the postholder can choose to work from home for part of the week in agreement with their line manager as per our hybrid working policy. You must be available to work from our offices in London when necessary. The successful candidate would also be welcome to work from the office full-time if that is their preference. Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Coaching

• Manage the Member and Supporter Experience Officers, providing the skills and knowledge to deliver excellent supporter service through tailored training and coaching.

• Support the management of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator.
• Work closely with all internal teams — partnership, consultancy, research, advocacy, programmes — to align messaging and amplify impact.
• Contribute to organisational learning, planning, and shared values.
• Support the implementation and day to day running of JB’s new CRM.
• With the Marketing Lead, strengthen internal editorial and brand sign off processes for all key content.
• Support impact measurement and communication of impact.

Person Specification

Essential

• Substantial experience in a senior communications role, ideally within the cultural, environmental, or non-profit sectors.
• Significant experience in designing and delivering successful communications strategies.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a track record of developing clear, creative, and inclusive content.
• Strong experience in campaign development, brand implementation, visual storytelling, and communications project management.
• Knowledge of content strategy, SEO, and audience engagement across digital platforms.
• Demonstrable ability to embed equity, diversity, and commitment to climate justice into communications practice.
• Collaborative and confident communicator with experience working across teams and with external partners.
• Strategic thinker with a commitment to Julie’s Bicycle’s mission and values.
• Strong design aesthetic and use of design skills (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud suite and Canva).
• Strong project management skills: the ability to meet deadlines and work flexibly across priorities in a fast-changing environment.
• Attention to detail and excellent proof reading.

Desirable

• Familiarity with climate and/or cultural policy environments.
• Experience working with funders, public bodies, or large-scale cultural partnerships.
• PR and media relations experience and contacts across digital and print channels.
• Design, photography, or multimedia experience (or managing those with those skills).
• Experience contributing to organisational growth and development through communications.

We’re at a crucial point in a campaign which spans political advocacy, public communications and engagement with businesses, targeted towards ensuring the introduction of what our coalition calls a UK ‘Business, Human Rights and Environment Act’. This successful applicant will play a central role in shaping and driving forward the campaign, working alongside our civil society partners to do so.

We are a broad coalition, including NGOs, trade unions and law firms, and spanning a range of political and thematic priorities, from workers’ rights and modern slavery, to climate and the environment, global justice and the rights of women and girls, children and indigenous peoples. What brings us together is a shared commitment to improving corporate accountability for human rights abuses and environmental destruction: in line with this, collaborative work for change alongside our partners is at the heart of all we do.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and have a real commitment to campaign for change on corporate accountability for human rights abuses. You’ll be enthusiastic and full of ideas, able to juggle multiple deadlines and tasks, while being ready to show initiative and take ownership of your area of work. We are a small team, and all are accountable for some of the mundane tasks necessary in a small organisation.
