As Individual Giving Manager, you will lead on the planning, coordination and delivery of the charity’s three major annual appeals. Who are we looking for?

Ideal candidates will have previous experience of delivering fundraising activities or alternatively previous experience of events management and marketing. About the opportunity

We’re looking for a passionate, people-focused communicator to join us. This is more than a fundraising role—it’s about building meaningful, lasting connections with supporters who want to leave a legacy of hope.

This is your chance to play a pivotal role in generating essential funds that drive our mission forward, supporting those living with dementia, funding ground-breaking research, and campaigning for change.
You’ll be the trusted guide for individuals considering leaving a gift in their Will, helping them feel valued, informed, and inspired every step of the way. You’ll also lead on delivering three engaging supporter events each year, bringing our mission to life and showing the real impact of legacy giving.

About you

You may not be from a fundraising background, that's ok! Let us know in your application how you match what we need for you to succeed. We need you to have; 

- Strong relationship building and communications skills, to a wide variety of audiences, with an interest in some public speaking (don’t worry, we will guide you), both virtually and in person.
- Ability and motivation to meet and exceed targets, both financial and service delivery.
- Confidence or keen interest to learn how to deliver an engaging presentations to small and large audiences.
- The independence and self-motivation to work remotely.
- Enjoys travel and has the flexibility to meet key stakeholders across the Midlands as well as an ability to attend regular internal meetings at our flagship offices across the UK.

Location: This is a homeworking role with travel across the Central West and Midlands and to other locations, including our national offices in London, Birmingham, Warrington, and Belfast.

Position: Senior Events Fundraiser (Third Party Events)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours a week)

Location: Office-based from one of our national offices (London, Cardiff, Belfast, or Edinburgh) with flexibility to work remotely
Salary: Starting from £33,044 per annum plus excellent benefits

*you’ll start at our entry point salary of £33,044 per annum, increasing to £35,109 after 6 months service and satisfactory performance and to £37,174 after a further 6 months.

About this job

We’re looking for a Senior Events Fundraiser to join our Community, Events, and Retail Fundraising team, leading on the delivery of our third party events activities.

You’ll plan, develop, and promote a well-established portfolio of third party challenge events, working to achieve set income targets, while ensuring an outstanding supporter experience for our event participants.

You’ll also be responsible for developing our third party events portfolio; monitoring and evaluating products, as well as innovating, to create opportunities for future growth.

About the Role

As Regional Corporate Executive, you will play a key role in driving income and engagement from regional corporate supporters. You'll manage your own portfolio of partnerships, conduct research to identify new opportunities, and triage and respond to partnership enquiries, supporting the wider Regional Corporate team to deliver over £1 million in income annually. 

In this role, you will:

• Research and identify potential corporate partners, building targeted lists of prospects aligned with strategic goals.

• Manage and develop a personal portfolio of partnerships and prospects, delivering exceptional stewardship and maximising income. 

• Oversee the team's inbox, triaging and managing incoming corporate partnership enquiries.

• Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to coordinate and maximise fundraising opportunities.

• Ensure legal, donation acceptance and other guidelines adhered to and that partnerships align with Save the Children's principles. 

• Contribute to departmental income reporting, budgeting and forecasting. 

About You

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Experience managing supporter relationships, preferably within a corporate fundraising or partnerships environment.

• Strong research and data analysis skills with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities.

• A good understanding of corporate fundraising practices, including relevant rules and regulations.

• Experience using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce, to manage donor / partner data.

• Exceptional relationship management skills, with a commercial mindset and the ability to build meaningful partnerships.

• A collaborative and open approach to teamwork, willing to support broader team objectives.

• Commitment to Save the Children's vision, mission and values.
