At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, we support babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. Our aim is to reach every family that needs our help and to offer them the very best choice of care. Every year we need to raise £6.7m to keep our doors open and only around 17% of our income comes from government sources, the rest must be raised through fundraising activity. Our uncompromisable support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family and include overnight care, music therapy, counselling, sibling support groups, end of life care and home visits.
We support families from a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. The hospice is easily accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and North Notts. We have free secure on-site parking for families and staff to use.
The role:
We are looking for a creative and analytical mind to join us on this exciting journey! Step into the spotlight as our Commercial Insights Officer. In this pivotal role, you’ll be the detective behind our income generation strategies, uncovering hidden opportunities for revenue growth. Your insights will guide our fundraising and partnership efforts, driving us towards successful income generation goals. Reporting to the Individual Giving Manager, you’ll collaborate with a team to turn data into actionable strategies that drive our income generation forward.
The requirements:
To excel as a Commercial Insights Officer, you need strong analytical skills to identify trends and opportunities from financial and operational data, transforming these into actionable insights for income generation campaigns. Proficiency in creating compelling reports and presentations, along with monitoring KPIs, is essential. Expertise in market research to understand industry trends and competitor activities, and the ability to develop innovative strategies for pricing, product development, and sales is crucial. Collaboration with income generation, partnerships, finance, and operations teams to support data-driven decisions and improve forecasting is key. Ensuring data accuracy within the fundraising CRM, performing regular data maintenance, managing data segmentation, and providing training as the database ‘super user’ are also important aspects of the role.

The Role
Design, implement, and manage a compelling mid-value fundraising programme, including donor acquisition strategies, stewardship marketing products, and supporter journeys.

Cultivate one-to-some and one-to-one relations with mid-value and, in time, major donors with a view to establishing long term relationships

The role
The Legacy and In Memory Manager is responsible for developing and delivering plans to maximise gifts in wills and in memory giving, ensuring a sustainable income stream for the charity whilst providing exceptional levels of supporter care. This role will oversee the administration of legacies, drive the growth of the charity's Free Wills programme, steward legacy pledgers, and expand in memory fundraising.
The Legacy and In Memory Manager will also ensure supporter journeys, audience insight and effective targeting are at the heart of the charity's programme, working with the Individual Giving and Development Lead to create impactful marketing campaigns across a variety of channels.
You will play an important part in raising awareness of the importance of wills to a wider audience.
About You
As a Legacy and In Memory Manager we would love you to have experience of the following
-Proven experience in legacy and/or in memory fundraising within the charity sector.
- Good understanding of charity legacy administration, probate law, and regulatory
requirements.

The Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager (High-Value) will be responsible for the development and implementation of the team’s Donor Advised Funds (DAF) programme. As a growing area of focus for the team, the role holder will have a significant impact on the strategic development of Donor Advised Funds fundraising at Mary’s Meals. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Support the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships (PAP) to develop and implement the High Value Donor fundraising strategy

Build and steward relationships with Donor Advised Funds, both those we already receive funds from and others across the UK. These relationships will enthuse and encourage Donor Advised Funds to market Mary’s Meals to their donors, resulting in significant gifts to Mary’s Meals, long-term support, and mutually beneficial partnerships

Identify and secure partnerships with new Donor Advised Providers and Funders, developing warm trusting relationships and appropriate stewardship plans

Identify appropriate communication possibilities to communicate to our supporters about the possibility of giving through Donor Advised Funds such as through marketing emails or our website

Identify data needs for recording and managing Donor Advised Funds and donors on our CRM and Dashboard systems

Work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to expand the organisation’s High Value giving portfolio by proactively identifying and securing new philanthropic opportunities

Manage relationships with existing High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs), including those that give through non-cash assets such as shares or where there is potential to engage them through the prospect of DAF giving

Support the Head of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop proposals and presentations to attract new innovative philanthropic opportunities

Work as part of a wider Philanthropy and Partnerships team providing support to other Philanthropy Managers in their respective areas and leveraging and maximising fundraising opportunities

Collaborate with colleagues across Major Giving and Partnerships (MGAP), Communications, Mary’s Meals International and Data Insights teams to build appropriate supporter journey, communication and engagement opportunities for UK DAF and HNWI Engagement.
About you:

About this key role

The Foundation Manager will report directly to the COO and act as the general manager of the charity, serving as the central pivot, which all operations revolve around. They will manage the charity on a day-to-day basis, lead the delivery of our programmes, and drive both fundraising efforts and sound financial management to support our work.
African Adventures Foundation is a registered charity set up in 2013 to provide support to 29 schools in developing areas of Ghana, Kenya and Zanzibar.
These schools provide education, health and food security, and social support to young people whose access to these basic services would otherwise be very limited. African Adventures Foundation helps by funding food security programmes, the construction of important school facilities, and hygiene projects that will benefit children’s health and education. With your help, we can continue to provide security and opportunities for more children in Africa.
It's an extremely exciting time to join our team as we continue to expand our company. Due to our current growth and expected growth over the coming years, we are in the process of relocating from Eastleigh to new office premises in Whiteley, which are better able to accommodate our expanding team. This role may also require travel outside the UK to visit our Programmes as needed by the business.
The role is centred around three core elements: charity management, programme delivery, and fundraising.
Responsibilities
1. Charity management (with support from the COO & Trustees)
- Line management of the Programme Officer in all respects including recruitment, conduct, capability, welfare, personal development.
- Indirect (matrix) management of the in-country Foundation Coordinators.
- Key member of the broader UK Management team.
- Support the COO and Chair of Trustees with the overall Governance framework of the charity including standards, processes and reporting.
- Primary point of contact for the board of Trustees day-to-day, supporting the Chair of the Trustees in the coordination and administration of Board activity.
- Lead on development, oversight and operation of charity standards, processes and systems.
- Work alongside the charities dedicated Finance Officer in ensuring good financial management of income and expenditure through planning, approvals, and processes.
- Attend a variety of external charitable, donor, and operational events or locations as required from time to time.
- Work closely with supporting departments like Finance, Marketing, and Travel Operations on all charity related matters.
- Handle day-to-day enquiries, questions, and issues related to the Foundation.
2. Programme Delivery (delivered by the Programme Officer)
- Ensure that a clear, documented process is in place for receiving, triaging, and managing requests related to volunteer projects and charity support.
- Lead the prioritisation process for articulated charitable requests, ensuring appropriate approvals are obtained and properly documented.
- Support strong project management throughout the planning and delivery of approved charitable projects.
- Ensure a robust MEAL [Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning] process is in place for measuring and reporting on the impact of the charity’s work with its beneficiaries, donors, and trustees.
3. Fundraising (with support from the COO & Trustees)
- Responsible for the developing and managing the Fundraising Opportunities Portfolio ensuring all stakeholders have clear visibility of funding gaps and opportunities for current and prospective donors.
- Responsible for leading on developing fundraising activities as informed by the Fundraising Strategy to drive income and cover operational expenditure.
- Maintain strong Donor relationships and develop grant applications adding to support a healthy funding pipeline to ensure we meet the charities fundraising targets.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure effective marketing and social media strategies in are in place and to maximise the opportunities they provide.
What We’re Looking For:
Due to the breadth of this role, we would only expect an incumbent to have relevant experience in 2 of the 3 core elements of the role as a minimum, but with a strong desire to develop and learn in the 3rd with dedicated support.

But they lack resources and funding is fragile, especially in the Global South and East. GiveOut’s purpose is to help address this urgent need by providing a platform for our supporters to give tax efficiently in one place to fund LGBTQI human rights activism worldwide. About the Role
Fundraising and philanthropic advocacy are at the heart of GiveOut’s work. As Senior Philanthropy Officer, you will be a key member of the Philanthropy team, implementing a vital part of our philanthropy programme as we deliver our growth strategy.
You will identify, engage, cultivate and steward major donors (high net worth individuals) and charitable foundations to secure high value gifts and grants, grow long term strategic relationships in support of the LGBTQI movement, grow GiveOut's network, and provide a top quality donor experience.
Working closely with the Head of Philanthropy, you will support them on shaping and executing strategy and work planning, coordinating the donor database and leading on related internal processes, and deputising for the Head externally.
We are open to full time or part time (pro rata) at a minimum of 24 hours, or equivalent to 3 days per week. We are also open to flexible working arrangements to be discussed. We’re seeking a Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our creative and fast-paced Individual Giving team!
This is an exciting time to join Pancreatic Cancer UK, with an ambitious 5-year strategy to double income and double survival rates so that everyone with pancreatic cancer can live long and well. We’re passionate about delivering it, but we can’t do it alone. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading on the delivery of acquisition and retention campaigns and optimising supporter journeys.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional based on the East Coast to both drive high-impact new business from corporations and major donors and build our visibility and external communications to support that goal. This is a hybrid role, balancing strategic digital marketing, brand-building and media engagement with income generation, deepening existing relationships with key stakeholders, establishing new partnerships and increasing our visibility.
This is a new position for Street Child, complementing our existing presence on the West Coast. The successful candidate will need to be a strong all-rounder, able to excel in a variety of work areas, although the role will work closely with and be supported by global communications, marketing and corporate fundraising teams, with existing strategies, materials and platforms to leverage and tailor to a US audience.
While this role is not office-based, the successful candidate will be located in or around NYC or DC.
Key Responsibilities:
Major Gift Fundraising (50%)
- Identify, cultivate, and secure partnerships with corporations and major donors, aligning their CSR goals and giving priorities with our mission.
- Leverage existing partnerships and relationships with corporations and major donors to grow a wider network of US-based corporations.
- Develop and manage sponsorship opportunities for campaigns, programs and events.
- Oversee all corporate engagement activities, including employee giving, volunteering and cause marketing campaigns.
- Develop and deliver corporate events to build relationships with and raise funds from our developing network of US-based corporations.
- Collaborate with corporate partners to enhance their internal communications strategies, driving awareness and engagement among their employees around shared initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Reprieve’s dynamic Development Team to secure vital income to power our high-impact human rights work. Working across both Reprieve and Reprieve US, you will make a real impact by focusing on Government and Trusts and Foundation donors. Length and Salary
This is a full-time role, on a permanent contract. The annual salary is £42,193 full-time per annum, less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
Reprieve operates a hybrid working model and we ask staff to work two days per week from the London office and the rest of the week from home. However, we are open to discussions on a flexible working arrangement on a case-by-case basis. This is a role that may require travel and work outside of core office hours from time to time, for example for donor events.
