The Head of Philanthropy is a new role and will be responsible for driving philanthropic income to support the organisation's mission. Setting both philanthropy strategy and being hands on, this role will work and lead a small team to identify, cultivate, and secure major gifts. This role will personally look to develop relationships with donors capable of giving seven and eight-figure gifts, and work with the team to develop a strong culture of philanthropy at the organisation. This will include securing unrestricted funds, restricted gifts to specific conservation activity and capital gifts. The role includes leadership of the organisation's mid-value Patron programme and the organisation's fellowship.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence setting strategy and delivering successful philanthropic income growth. This person will be able to demonstrate securing and achieving major gifts of 6-7 figures, from identifying donors to stewarding a successful gift. They will have managed other team members before and be a strong communicator with other senior internal stakeholders and external donors. Ideally, this person will also have knowledge and some experience with capital appeal fundraising.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Partnerships Manager to strengthen and grow our connections across the youth, education and democracy sectors. You will play a key role in expanding and deepening the Democracy Classroom Network, helping to increase its reach, visibility and impact on democratic education across the UK.
The role will support organisations to prepare for and collaborate on upcoming changes in democratic engagement and education - such as the introduction of Votes at 16 - ensuring the sector is coordinated, informed and ready to respond collectively.
This is a dynamic, people-focused role supporting more than 100 partner organisations to collaborate, share learning and deliver joined-up support for teachers and youth practitioners. You will combine excellent relationship-building with the ability to think strategically, spot opportunities and translate them into practical action.
You will work closely with the Head of Communications and Networks, the Communications Lead, and colleagues across The Politics Project to ensure that partners are supported, connected and able to collaborate effectively. The role blends strategic relationship management with hands-on coordination and communication.
Key responsibilities include:
Partnership management
- Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with over 100 existing civil society partners.
- Act as the main point of contact for partner queries, feedback and support.
- Identify and onboard new organisations to join the Democracy Classroom Network.
- Facilitate partner input into planning, decision-making and shared problem-solving.
Strategic development and coordination
- Identify new opportunities for collaboration, policy influence and sector engagement.
- Advise senior colleagues on partnership trends, risks and emerging opportunities.
- Develop and deliver partner communication strategies, ensuring information and opportunities are shared clearly and consistently.
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure joined-up delivery and coherent partner messaging.
Engagement and representation
- Plan and deliver Democracy Classroom meetings, training sessions and networking events.
- Represent The Politics Project at external meetings and events, acting as an ambassador for our collaborative and non-partisan approach.
Monitoring and reporting
- Track partner engagement, feedback and satisfaction to inform continuous improvement.
- Support monitoring, evaluation and reporting to demonstrate the impact of the network.
This is a fast-paced role in a small but growing team. The post includes a six-month probation period and is fixed-term until March 2027, with potential for extension depending on funding. Occasional travel within the UK and some evening or weekend work will be required.

Job Purpose:
Lead and develop the strategy for MSF’s Donor Development and Legacies Programme, being accountable for all communications to warm donors (including regular givers and mid value donors) which focus on building relationships with individual supporters to increase their financial contribution and loyalty. Supervise and motivate the Supporter Development Manager (SDM) to implement the supporter development programme with the aim of increasing the lifetime value of MSF UK supporters, by increasing donor knowledge and understanding of humanitarian action and their awareness of the importance of their own support to MSF. The DD&LL is responsible for the full DD&L budget and oversees the SDM, Mid-Value Manager (MVM) and LMM to plan and manage the supporter development, mid-value and legacies budgets. Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Considerable experience of fundraising at a strategic level with a proven track record in the planning and management against budget, timescale and deadlines. This must include knowledge about warm direct mail, radio, print campaigns, legacy fundraising and fulfilment.

Role overview
Leadership & Team Support

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead recruitment support: Help managers attract and select top talent, improve vacancy advertising, and build recruitment skills
- Develop our training: Create and deliver the annual training and development plan based on performance reviews, team and organisational needs.
- Deliver learning: Facilitate soft skills and personal development sessions, and source external providers for specialist training.
- Coordinate staff events: Organise All Staff Away days and meetings, Lunch and Learn sessions, and support directorate meetings and away days.
- Innovate learning approaches: Introduce skill sharing, action learning sets, and evaluate learning impact.
- Champion inclusion: Deliver diversity and inclusion activities that support our wider people agenda.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in talent development, ideally with some experience of recruitment and selection

About the role
The Senior Digital & Data Marketing Manager will own the design, delivery and continuous optimisation of PDSA’s digital and data marketing ecosystem to support fundraising and supporter-engagement goals. You will convert CRM insights into segmented, personalised journeys across email, direct mail and digital channels, improve website visibility and user experience, and introduce systems that make content easier to find and use.
Who we are looking for
We’re seeking a hands-on, strategic digital marketer with a strong appreciation of the charity sector and demonstrable experience of using data to drive fundraising and engagement.
Candidates will ideally have proven experience in digital marketing and data analytics within the non-profit or charity sector, with strong expertise in CRM systems, marketing automation, and analytics tools. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights and testable optimisation plans. You will also improve SEO, website performance, and email/direct marketing campaigns to drive conversion. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience managing agency and partner relationships, are a must. Leadership experience while operating with commercial awareness is valuable.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The role is a Project Manager at a start-up non-profit looking to create a global movement to support senior professionals in powerful industries to - collectively and anonymously - help drive positive change in their industries.
Your job will be to help recruit, facilitate and mobilise corporate ‘Insiders’ to help them transform their industries to support a more just and regenerative world.
We are looking for a Project Manager with skills in relationship building, facilitation, research and project management. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience working for large corporations and professional services firms.
This is an amazing opportunity for someone interested in shaping a new and ambitious organisation, and supporting the development of a new method of civil society organising.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
We are looking for someone with at least two years of professional experience who is:
