Role Overview:
We are recruiting to fill Senior Trusts & Foundations Fundraiser role at our London office. This role is an integral member of a proactive and dedicated relationship fundraising team of three, managing current donors, building new relationships and communicating the great impact the charity has with vulnerable young people.
The appointed post holder will help to deliver a brand-new trusts and philanthropy strategy which is taking shape now. This is a fantastic opportunity to get out, meet donors and work with funders of all sizes to help Depaul UK reach its ambitions.
Key deliverables
- Making successful funding bids to trusts and foundations in line with the charity’s needs
- Responsibility for the small trust mailing programme
- Reporting back to trust donors against grant requirements
- Researching new funding opportunities
- Leading and participating in meetings and project visits with donors
- Keeping accurate records on Raiser’s Edge database.

What We Are Looking For – Person Specification:

The Role
Based either at our Head Office in Basingstoke, Hampshire, remotely or hybrid, you will lead and manage the development and delivery of income growth from corporate partnerships.
In this fast-paced and exciting role, you’ll be proactively identifying and securing new partnerships, whilst nurturing and maintaining existing relationships. Purpose of job:
The Fundraising Event and Challenges Lead is responsible for overseeing the fundraising events portfolio, developing and driving the strategy, and leading the delivery of a wide-ranging events and challenges portfolio to deliver ambitious organisational objectives and fundraising growth targets. About You:
You will have experience of training and presenting as well as supporting Face to Face campaigns ideally within a third sector fundraising role. Key to this role will be the ability to build, manage and develop relationships.
Additionally, you’ll be able to run analysis and have experience using Dynamics 365, Raisers Edge or a similar database.
About The Role
- Provide continual training and compliance monitoring support to our Face to Face partners in the execution of all door, private Sites and events fundraising, this includes leading on developing new opportunities in conjunction with St John events.
- Oversee and collaboratively work with our Telephone Fundraising partners on their training and compliance of all deliverables such as welcome calls, upgrades, reactivations and other fundraising campaigns – includes caller listening
- Oversee regular audits of agents, to monitor against key auditory compliance and performance metrics.
- Manage relationships with our Face to Face partners with training, development and materials, and performance reviews. Monitoring various forms or training and reviewing inductions in line with our agreed contract.
- Build a strong knowledge of all areas of St John Ambulance’s work, carrying out continual research and gathering information, case studies and photos for use in training booklets, scripts and materials. Where appropriate, to liaise with external agencies such as designers and copywriters.

We are looking for a Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager to join the National Theatre Development Team.
The purpose of the role
This role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of fundraising at the National Theatre, as we look to grow our income from individual members, major donors, trusts and corporate organisations.
Working with the Senior Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager, you will develop a strong fundraising pipeline that will ensure the team can reach their long-term targets.
Your natural curiosity will lead you to identify new opportunities using a variety of online sources in combination with the NT’s database, Tessitura, and you will be able to articulate your recommendations to fundraisers in a concise and compelling way. With excellent attention to detail, this role also undertakes due diligence research into potential funders to assess any risks to the NT of accepting funds. This role also manages the Development Operations Assistant, who leads the day-to-day administration of the Development database.
The role has scope to offer insights across the whole Development team and NT senior management, and would suit a strong collaborator with enthusiasm for the work of the NT.
The successful candidate will have the following:

As Fundraising Training and Engagement Officer, working with a Direct Marketing Manager, you will deliver inspiring training presentations to agency face to face fundraisers, and work with the agency to help them deliver their own training sessions.
You will work closely with all key services areas of the charity and the wider operations team, to create and develop content to inspire fundraisers for all training materials.

Key responsibilities:
