We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our Engagement and Fundraising Team.

The Role

Based either at our Head Office in Basingstoke, Hampshire, remotely or hybrid, you will lead and manage the development and delivery of income growth from corporate partnerships.

In this fast-paced and exciting role, you’ll be proactively identifying and securing new partnerships, whilst nurturing and maintaining existing relationships. Working with the wider engagement and fundraising team, you will ensure donors receive the best experience and an integrated and joined up fundraising plan is delivered.

About You

We’re looking for an enthusiastic manager with knowledge and experience of corporate account management and new business development. You will be experienced working in a fundraising environment and managing key fundraising projects.

You will need to be confident communicator, calm under pressure and keen to evidence the success of your work through data analysis, you will be able to adapt your approach to suit different audiences.

CRM Project - Workstream Lead

We are recruiting for a brand new role on a 12 month fixed term as a CRM Project Workstream Lead. This is full time (37.5 hours per week). We have a brand new office in London which we would love to see you work at, for 2 days per week, to connect with your team. We are flexible where the remainder of your work can be done.

What you will do as the CRM Project Lead?

· Ability to manage deadlines and project work

· The ability understand and interrogate new & existing CRM operational processes to ensure they are fit for purpose and future proof

· Ability to build working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

· Bring exceptional knowledge and experience of CRM Fundraising processes (ALMS. Net)

· Act as the key Fundraising Operations team resource to progress the CRM project through each key phase from Discovery to Go-live

Working alongside the Community Fundraising Manager the role will be responsible for being proactive in engaging local communities to maximise income generation by developing a plan to gain more supporters. About the role

• Grow income from Community Fundraising through phoning and visiting local Groups, schools & individuals, supporting existing supporters and promoting new fundraising initiatives

Fundraising Events and Challenges Lead

£44,342 - £47,888 pa

This role is offered on a hybrid contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week.

Purpose of job:

The Fundraising Event and Challenges Lead is responsible for overseeing the fundraising events portfolio, developing and driving the strategy, and leading the delivery of a wide-ranging events and challenges portfolio to deliver ambitious organisational objectives and fundraising growth targets. This includes high-profile celebrity sporting and non-sporting challenge events alongside special events and mass-engagement events.

Key responsibilities:

· Leads the strategy setting and annual planning and budget setting for Comic Relief’s events, including building financial models, developing business cases and strategic plans.

· Lead the operational planning and implementation of fundraising events from ideation, through development and delivery, ensuring an agile approach to changing circumstances and to manage risk and maximise income opportunities.

· Manage and coach the events co-ordinator to support and deliver operational and fundraising activity across the portfolio to deliver against agreed plans and objectives.

· As appropriate, lead or work as part of cross-organisational matrix project teams to deliver all event fundraising elements including developing coherent narrative, fundraising marketing activity, supporter journeys and income/performance tracking and management.

· Lead and manage project teams of internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure all aspects of fundraising events are delivered effectively and successfully to deliver income targets.

· Procure and manage the day-to-day relationship with external delivery partners to ensure safe and successful development and delivery of events; this could include events logistic delivery partners, integration of external media broadcast outlets or television production companies.

· Working with the FR Events co-ordinator, supporting all operational elements of events including event plans, logistics, risk assessments, live content requirements, content delivery, health & safety, risk management and crisis management plans. 

· Actively manage the fundraising event budgets, ensuring spend is monitored, reported, and reforecast, with cost saving opportunities leveraged to maximise net income.

· Operate as a champion of fundraising events within the wider organisation proactively identifying, sourcing and helping to embed new ways of working, tools and approaches that drive and optimise income from fundraising events across an array of target audiences.

· Foster a culture of high performance and build organisational event fundraising expertise. Work across the organisation to ensure each challenge/event is audience focused and all opportunities to maximise income are explored through a test, learn and iterate approach where data, learning and insight is used to make informed decisions and actioned swiftly. Ensure knowledge is systematised and shared across the organisation for maximum impact.

· Working as a lead within the Fundraising Directorate, work with colleagues to ensure all activity is appropriately integrated within the wider fundraising plans and portfolio, targeted to agreed audiences appropriately and designed and delivered in a way that maximises engagement and lifetime value.

People Management

· Provide balanced, constructive feedback, undertake effective performance management to embed accountability and proactively support the professional development and growth of staff.

· Proactively undertake business planning, prioritise activities and set clear and realistic objectives for the team and individuals based on capacity, expertise, and aspirations.

· Maintain regular two-way communication and dialogue with staff, ensuring information is cascaded and escalated as needed.

Essential criteria

· Experience in developing strategies, plans and managing and delivering events with a focus of income generation.

· Experience of delivering high profile events with multiple external partners

· Demonstratable experience of complex project and stakeholder management in high impact and proven ability to deliver on time and on budget. 

· Evidence of working in high-pressure, high-risk environments with high personal resilience and the ability to effectively manage and mitigate risk, adapt and respond to fast-paced change.

· Experience of budget management including setting detailed, annual and campaign planning budgets and strategies, reforecasting, and ongoing tracking against these.

The Role
As the Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will spearhead the expansion of our Corporate and Community Giving portfolio. This role involves enhancing relationships with current donors, partnerships with new businesses, and playing a critical role in our Fundraising & Trading Department. You will be instrumental in managing income streams projected to raise £150,000 this year, with ambitions for future growth. Your role will also encompass being a prominent figure in the community, delivering fundraising talks, attending networking events and being an advocate for Bath Cats and Dogs Home.

About You
You are a dynamic individual with a successful track record in corporate fundraising, capable of securing significant income through corporate and community events. Your skills include:

• Exceptional leadership and the ability to manage and mentor a team.
• Strong marketing abilities, both online and offline, to achieve financial and recruitment targets.

• Proficiency in IT and CRM databases, ideally with experience in Raisers Edge.

Key Roles and Duties

• Ensure all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM system.

Campaign and Material Management

Work closely with the Communications Manager to:

• Engage ambassadors and campaign specific ambassadors.
• Collect and draft beautiful stories, testimonies and case studies that engage supporters.
• Manage the production of supporter materials.
• Assist in developing Mailchimp email marketing and analyse and evaluate user journeys to maximise impact.

 Innovation and Market Trends

Lead the charge in:

• Coming up with new ideas and initiatives to bolster individual giving.
• Managing a continuous cycle of testing for new channels and techniques for acquisition and retention, based on audience insight and sector trends.

 General:

• Collaborate and communicate well with team members and particularly line manager.

Role Requirements

We are looking for the right person to join the team – this could be someone with experience or someone who is willing to learn and has a strong transferrable skill set.

You will have:

• Effective campaign copy writing and ability to translate ideas into design briefs.
•  A minimum level of skill in graphic design (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva). 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences in friendly and welcoming way in keeping with WONDER’s approach to empowerment.

Desirable skills and experience:

•  Experience of income generation from direct marketing campaigns (acquisition and/or retention) across a variety of digital channels for acquisition and retention. 
• Experience of project management to deliver acquisition or retention campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets.
• Experience of using databases for targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis and how to apply these learnings to future campaigns.
• Knowledge of Charity Law, Data Protection, Fundraising Code of Practice, and other relevant marketing or fundraising standards across the UK.

About the role:

As the Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser you will use your core knowledge and skill to reflect on strategy, relationship building and leading our charitable profile and income streams.

You will develop and influence strategy formation with supporters and other stakeholders to identify and actively seek out and engage trusts, foundations, and other funders by writing compelling and comprehensive funding bids, presentations, and applications.

About the role

As our ideal candidate, you’ll have strong research and analysis skills, as well as an understanding of prospect research principles and ethics, gift capacity indicators, and fundraising strategies.

As an expert communicator, you have excellent writing skills and experience creating various types of documentation for different audiences. You also have the ability to build and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

To excel in the role, you will have:

• Familiarity with research resources and tools (ALF, FAME, and online)
• Experience using a CRM database (such as Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or Microsoft)
• Understanding Data Protection, ICO, GDPR, and PECR Guidelines

About You:

You will have experience of training and presenting as well as supporting Face to Face campaigns ideally within a third sector fundraising role. Key to this role will be the ability to build, manage and develop relationships. 

Additionally, you’ll be able to run analysis and have experience using Dynamics 365, Raisers Edge or a similar database. 

About The Role

• Provide continual training and compliance monitoring support to our Face to Face partners in the execution of all door, private Sites and events fundraising, this includes leading on developing new opportunities in conjunction with St John events.
• Oversee and collaboratively work with our Telephone Fundraising partners on their training and compliance of all deliverables such as welcome calls, upgrades, reactivations and other fundraising campaigns – includes caller listening
• Oversee regular audits of agents, to monitor against key auditory compliance and performance metrics.
• Manage relationships with our Face to Face partners with training, development and materials, and performance reviews. Monitoring various forms or training and reviewing inductions in line with our agreed contract.
• Build a strong knowledge of all areas of St John Ambulance’s work, carrying out continual research and gathering information, case studies and photos for use in training booklets, scripts and materials. Where appropriate, to liaise with external agencies such as designers and copywriters.

We are looking for a Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager to join the National Theatre Development Team.

The purpose of the role

This role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of fundraising at the National Theatre, as we look to grow our income from individual members, major donors, trusts and corporate organisations.

Working with the Senior Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager, you will develop a strong fundraising pipeline that will ensure the team can reach their long-term targets.

Your natural curiosity will lead you to identify new opportunities using a variety of online sources in combination with the NT’s database, Tessitura, and you will be able to articulate your recommendations to fundraisers in a concise and compelling way. With excellent attention to detail, this role also undertakes due diligence research into potential funders to assess any risks to the NT of accepting funds. This role also manages the Development Operations Assistant, who leads the day-to-day administration of the Development database.

The role has scope to offer insights across the whole Development team and NT senior management, and would suit a strong collaborator with enthusiasm for the work of the NT.

The successful candidate will have the following: 

• Experience of managing prospect research projects and supporting prospect pipeline management in a fundraising environment.

• Experience of Tessitura or other customer relations management systems.

• Proven ability to gather and interpret information for relevance from a variety of sources.

• An appreciation for donor motivations and ability to make thoughtful connections with projects.

• Evidence of the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner, both written and orally.

As Fundraising Training and Engagement Officer, working with a Direct Marketing Manager, you will deliver inspiring training presentations to agency face to face fundraisers, and work with the agency to help them deliver their own training sessions.

You will work closely with all key services areas of the charity and the wider operations team, to create and develop content to inspire fundraisers for all training materials.

With the Manager, you’ll support with building relationships of external agency partners, as well as the day-to-day management and monitoring of third-party fundraisers, and supporting with the smooth running of campaigns.

Key responsibilities:

Fundraiser Training, Engagement and Quality

• Deliver inspiring training sessions about services, engaging fundraisers to be passionate about their work and the work of the charity.
• Build strong relationships with the operational team to gain greater knowledge of how the service operates, and feed this into fundraiser training sessions.
• Maintain and refine Fundraiser Training Decks with up to date and relevant content.
• Responsible for training observation and monitoring plans for external agencies.
• Alongside the DM Manager, support on the development of an annual training plan.
• Work with external suppliers to ensure that they are operating to the highest standards.

Planning & Organising

• Work alongside the DM Manager as a contact for agency partners and campaign activity.  
• Assist on the development of operational plans for multiple fundraising campaigns, along with analysing results to ensure ROI is delivered.

Administration Duties

• Reviewing and recording all invoices.
• Maintain training materials and stock of marketing and training materials.

To be successful as the Fundraising Training and Engagement Officer, you will be able to demonstrate prior skills and experiences in the following areas:

• Presenting or communications information to large groups, either face to face or via a remote setting.
• Engaging, inspiring and motivating others to achieve targets and deliver against campaign objectives.
• Working with PowerPoint and Excel to create, deliver and develop training programmes.

Additional desirable skills, though these skills are not essential, are areas such as:  

• Managing the performance of external agencies to deliver successful campaign.
• An understanding of fundraising compliance and data protection.
• Working within a charity and/or exposure to Door, Private Site fundraising and Lottery and Regular Giving campaigns.

We are recruiting a Trust Fundraiser to work with the Trusts and Statutory Fundraising Manager to grow and develop the vital trust income stream through the delivery of the trust fundraising pipeline.

This pivotal role involves overseeing fundraising and stewardship mailings, crafting reports for funders, and spearheading applications to both new and existing trusts.

The post-holder will be able to make a significant impact on the work that Sands does in supporting bereaved parents and saving babies lives, including our work with parents and communities, and providing bereavement training for professionals within the workplace and NHS.
