Harris Hill is working with a health based charity located in Epsom, to assist in the search for a Fundraising Officer for a brand new role.
This role will start life as a temporary position, working full time (37.5hpw), with 2-3 days a week in the office. However, the client is ultimately seeking a permanent fill for this role, so ideally we would like someone who would be interested in this transition over to work for them directly.
The charity has seen substantial growth over the past two years, so this role has been developed to increase their income through individual giving, and events/ challenge events. However, the client is being flexible, so anyone with a broader fundraising background will be considered.
To be considered, we would ideally like someone with the following keys skills and experiences.
Minimum of 2-3 years fundraising experience gained through working across several relevant fundraising disciplines.
Ability to clearly demonstrate the achievement of annual income targets.
Experience in the development of individual giving programmes.
Experience in the development and management of supporter journeys.
Knowledge and experience of using a CRM system (Sales Force or similar)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
A clean full driving licence and a car owner.

The Role
The Fundraising & Grants Officer is a key role within the Society to deliver and grow income from trusts, foundations, statutory funders, and legacies, playing a key operational role to support the fundraising function.
The postholder will manage funding applications end-to-end, administer legacy income sensitively and accurately, and contribute to the charity’s overall fundraising activity.
The successful candidate will have previous experience securing funds from multiple sources, as well as excellent writing skills, and a keen interest in the heritage sector and the Vision, Mission and Values of SPAB.

We are seeking a Philanthropy Officer to support our Major Giving programme, working with trusts, foundations, statutory funders and high-net-worth individuals to grow income and build strong, long-term relationships.
You will research funding opportunities, prepare high-quality grant applications and proposals, manage funder relationships and deliver effective stewardship and impact reporting. You’ll also support donor communications, campaigns, and Major Giving events, while maintaining accurate records using Salesforce.

FUNDRAISING OFFICER
Supporter focused Fundraising Officer role with SAT 7 UK, delivering supporter engagement, donor stewardship and fundraising campaigns to grow impact across the Middle East & North Africa.
Location: Hybrid (Chippenham office) – ideally 1 day a week onsite (minimum 1 day per month)

We’re looking for a well organised, warm, and proactive Fundraising Officer to help strengthen supporter relationships, individual giving, and deliver excellent donor experiences.
You will:
- Nurture supporters through calls, emails, and written communications

- Work closely with the Fundraising & Impact Manager on donor stewardship

The Diocese of Leicester is seeking a dedicated Regional Net Zero Carbon Fundraising Officer to support the delivery of Net Zero Carbon (NZC) projects across five Church of England dioceses: Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Peterborough, and Southwell & Nottingham.
This is a meaningful opportunity to shape and strengthen the financial foundations of a transformative, region‑wide programme helping churches, schools, clergy housing and diocesan buildings reduce carbon emissions and respond to the climate crisis.
About the role
As Regional Net Zero Carbon Fundraising Officer, you will lead a collaborative and strategic approach to NZC fundraising across the region. You will work closely with diocesan NZC teams, environmental officers, church buildings staff, clergy, and national colleagues to identify funding opportunities and secure essential investment for a wide range of decarbonisation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of fundable NZC projects across the five dioceses.
- Prepare funding applications and proposals, ensuring all required documentation is gathered.
- Build strong relationships with funders, local authorities, Net Zero Hubs and community energy groups.
- Create and update a regional directory of NZC funding opportunities for dioceses and parishes.
- Provide training, guidance and clear communication on fundraising best practice, including promoting opportunities through diocesan channels.
- Collaborate widely across diocesan teams, national NZC colleagues and fundraising networks, sharing learning and supporting partnership working.
What We're Looking For
- You will bring expertise in fundraising, exceptional relationship‑building skills, and a strong understanding of the environmental or charitable funding landscape. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Degree‑level qualification or equivalent experience, with a strong track record of securing grants from statutory and other funders.
- Ability to build effective relationships with funders and key decision‑makers.
- Confident communicator (written and verbal) with excellent IT skills.
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage deadlines and balance multiple priorities.
- Collaborative, diplomatic and sensitive in working with diverse colleagues and church contexts.
- Understanding of environmental and church‑related fundraising.
