About the role

In this role, you'll support and deliver fundraising activity across multiple income streams, with a particular focus on developing and growing income from legacies, corporate partnerships and trusts.

You'll build and manage relationships with prospective and existing supporters, develop high-quality applications and proposals, and contribute to effective supporter stewardship and engagement. You will play a key role in strengthening Victim Support's fundraising activity across the organisation, working collaboratively with colleagues and partners to maximise opportunities.

The role also involves supporting legacy fundraising activity, including responding to enquiries, stewarding pledgers and contributing to legacy marketing activity. Alongside this, you will support the development of corporate partnerships through prospect research, pitching, proposal writing and relationship building.

You'll ensure all activity is delivered in line with fundraising best practice, relevant legislation and organisational policies, while helping to embed a strong fundraising culture across Victim Support.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, organised and a strong communicator, with the confidence to build relationships and work both independently and as part of a team.

About the role

The fundraising products marketing officer will assist with the marketing of two of our flagship products – the Pink Ribbon Walks and Walk 100 virtual challenges, as well as having opportunities to work on other projects across the public fundraising team and wider engagement directorate.

About you

This role is focussed on the effective delivery of our integrated warm and cold marketing campaigns. Along with the community and events marketing manager you will be responsible for developing and executing the Pink Ribbon Walks and Walk 100 campaigns.

What does this role do?
As a Legacy Officer, you will: 

• manage a caseload of pecuniary, specific, life interest, and residuary legacies, ensuring the charity receives its full entitlement and maximising value where possible,
• liaise with external stakeholders, such as executors or solicitors, handling sensitive conversations efficiently and professionally,
• review estate accounts, including the allocation of Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Inheritance Tax (IHT), to confirm estates are correctly administered,
• represent the charity’s interests in all legacy-related correspondence, handling queries from legal professionals and the public with professionalism,
• maintain accurate records using the First Class 4 database, support with reporting, and escalate significant matters to senior legal staff as needed.

With proven experience in legacy administration, you will have good knowledge of wills, probate, tax and trust law. About the Role

• Researching current and potential major and mid-value donors to enable a donor-centric approach.
• Delivering and reporting on agreed development and stewardship projects, fundraising targets.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Demonstrable experience of strong administrative and organisational support within a busy, fast paced environment.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, organise, and prioritise workloads.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong data management skills, and experience of working with databases or CRM systems.
• Experience of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Able to support the planning and delivery of activities or events, including administrative and logistical coordination.

Salary: £28,665 - £35,280 pro rata (£22,932 – £28,224 actual)

Kids Matter is one of the UK’s fastest growing children’s charities. Our vision is to see every child in need raised in a strong family. Our mission is to reduce the impact of poverty on children through community-based parenting programmes.

Research shows that group-based early intervention parenting groups are the most effective way to support children in need. About the role

The Database and Fundraising Development Officer role involves:

• Working closely with the Communications and Marketing Coordinator and Content Manager to segment data and tailor content accordingly
• Ensuring Kids Matter’s CRM (Beacon) becomes a fit for purpose tool for all things fundraising and marketing.
• Developing an excellent working understanding of GDPR and other such regulations, ensuring Kids Matter complies in how data is both collected and stored.
• Helping develop a structured and sustainable individual giving programme (both one-off and regular)
