The Role
Lead the delivery of planned activities and promotion of legacy and in memory fundraising products.
Work closely with the Individual Giving Lead, to co-plan and co-deliver the flagship in memory appeal,including a cash appeal, local remembrance services, public dedication list instalments and a community radio show.
Use data and insights to report on legacy and in memory activity and evaluate performance, identifying learnings and recommendations for future activities and applying test and learn principles.
Support with line management of the Fundraising Team Administrative Assistant where necessary.
The Candidate
Fundraising experience ideally with strong knowledge of in memory and/or legacy fundraising within the not-for-profit sector.
Experience of using a variety of on- and offline channels to deliver successful marketing campaigns to acquire and develop donors / customers.
Experience of managing income and expenditure budgets.
Ability to manage and nurture relationships with key existing and potential legacy and in memory donars.
Full UK driving license with access to own vehicle.

We are recruiting two Customer Research Managers one on permanent basis one as 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
This is a hybrid role, where your work will be split between your home and at least one day per week, on average, in our London Office. This may vary from time to time, so you’ll need to work in a flexible way to unlock your best work for our cause.
About you
You’ll bring solid experience from a dedicated market or social research role, whether client-side or agency, with a strong track record of using qualitative, quantitative and secondary research methods to deliver meaningful insight. You’ve led a wide variety of projects, including brand tracking, customer satisfaction, creative testing and proposition development, and you’re confident working across different business areas to meet a range of organisational needs.
You’re comfortable managing research from start to finish – from writing briefs and designing surveys or discussion guides, to overseeing fieldwork, conducting analysis and presenting findings. You’ve worked closely with external research agencies, managing procurement and delivery, and you know how to translate complex methodologies and data into clear, actionable insights that resonate with colleagues at all levels, including those without a research background.
You’ll bring:
- A deep understanding of ethical research practices, GDPR, and inclusive research approaches
- Strong questionnaire design skills and experience using survey software
- Excellent communication and consultancy skills, with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders at all levels

About the role
The Client Services Manager utilises our CRM to manage the Charities team inventory requirements (products including charity entries and advertising packages) across the London Marathon Events portfolio. This role supports the day-to-day management and continuous improvement of the charities team systems and processes to ensure our team can work efficiently, maximise the use of our CRM to support sales and charity customers communications, and give our charity partners a best-in-class customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the charities advertising asset management process, working with internal teams to confirm timelines, roles and responsibilities and ensure tools and workflows are used efficiently to deliver partners benefits on time and on budget.
- Support with registration platform system testing, feedback, management and development.
- Deliver charity entries and advertising sales product set-up, testing and roll-out in Dynamics.
- Support in improving processes for all systems used by the Charities team.
- Represent the Charities team as a subject specialist on business improvement project groups supporting to scope and test our team’s requirements.
- Utilise Dynamics, our CRM to analyse buying patterns and sales to provide the sales team with deeper customer and products insights to help identify opportunities to strengthen charity relationships or product offerings.
- Working closely with the Dynamics team to optimise the use of our CRM for charity customers, including segmentation and targeting, sales performance reporting.
- Support the Senior Client Services Manager with the relationship management of our partners (Enthuse, Let’s Do This), reviewing performance to spot opportunities or trouble shoot challenges.
- Contribute to data selection procedures and technical solutions to import data, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Support the maintenance and cleaning of our data and support the team to use our CRM consistently.

About you
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across a range of audiences. The ideal candidate will be a confident user of Microsoft Office 365, with advanced skills that support efficient and high-quality work.
Experience in undertaking data selections for targeted marketing mailings is essential, along with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects from start to finish. You’ll need excellent organisational skills, coupled with strong analytical thinking, time management, problem-solving, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in this way within a charity’s fundraising team or equivalent would be desired but not essential.

Your role
We are looking for an ICT professional who can provide training and support for all staff who are using the Access Charity CRM product to interact with our supporters and students. You will be involved in developing the processes to deliver insight driven selections, segmentation, analysis and other user needs and will also get involved in some day-to-day activities like extracting data sets and running audits.

The Role
You’ll be part of an ambitious and highly motivated team responsible for delivering an ambitious and growing Individual Fundraising programme. Working with other officers, you will be reporting to either the Individual Giving Lead responsible for cause related products, or for gaming products.
You’ll be:
- Enthusiastically managing and delivering a range of fundraising and engagement campaigns and communications to develop and maximise support from loyal supporters via multiple channels, including telephone, mail, digital, and SMS.
- Using your fundraising and marketing experience and skills to create successful campaigns and complex supporter journeys to help us grow income and supporter engagement. (Working collaboratively with Digital and Social Teams, as well as external media agencies). Helping deliver on multi million annual plans to retain and recruit new supporters using the most effective techniques and channels, including Face to Face.
- Comfortable with figures and spreadsheets and have a head for figures, as you’ll be diving into the data an managing campaign costs.
- Responsible for maintaining and reporting accurate campaign results and reviews.
- Always looking out for new opportunities, using sprint pipeline methodology (testing, solving, learning from experiments) before scaling.
- Ensuring campaigns and gaming activities are fully compliant at all times… a knowledge of Gambling Commission rules would be a bonus.
About You
We’re looking for an individual who:
- Has great experience and knowledge of fundraising, direct marketing and project management, and can bring a real enthusiasm to the team. This role has a specific focus around supporter acquisition which includes face to face, paid digital, direct mail, telemarketing and eMarketing.
- Is fantastic at organising and prioritising a busy workload and knowledgeable of project management.

At the Royal British Legion we’re looking for a passionate and skilled marketing manager to join our Fundraising Directorate and lead a talented team driving supporter acquisition as our Senior Supporter Acquisition Manager. The Supporter Acquisition team is responsible for attracting new supporters through a wide range of appeals, products, and marketing channels. The Role
Join a high performing team of ten, reporting to the Senior DM Manager, and alongside another Officer with the support of an executive.
Plan, deliver and manage direct marketing campaigns to recruit, develop and build relationships with gaming supporters.
