About the role
We are recruiting for two Shop Supervisors to join our Islington and Archway shop. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference and deliver positive social impact in the local community while also raising money to fund Crisis’ work ending homelessness.
As a Shop Supervisor, you will support the shop manager and assistant shop manager to deliver an outstanding customer experience. You will play a key role in delivering customer service and supporting volunteers, as well maintaining the look and feel of the shop and processing stock. You will work towards ambitious sales and training targets, maximising the impact on our mission to end homelessness.
This is a unique retail opportunity where you will also be involved in delivering on the job training for Crisis members, supporting them to gain the skills and confidence needed in the workplace. You will work collaboratively with your team and will have opportunities to build your own skills and career progression through training and development.
Location: Crisis Shop Islington x 1: 211 Upper St, London N1 1RL and Crisis Shop Archway x1: 34 Junction Rd, Archway, London N19 5RE
Hours: 40 hours, five days over a seven-day rota you will need some ability to work flexible days which will be discussed at interview.

We are currently recruiting for a Patrons Manager to join our Development team on a full time permanent basis.
The Development team is responsible for securing significant revenue income from a variety of public, private and commercial funding sources to support the ambitions of Southbank Centre, in close collaboration with all internal departments and external partners. The Patrons Manager role sits within the Philanthropy team which focuses on those gifts from individual donors, usually in excess of £5,000. They manage regular giving schemes such as our Patrons and our Commissioning Committee as well as leading on soliciting restricted major gifts for particular projects.
The successful candidates will work across a variety of responsibilities which includes but are not limited to:
- Manage a portfolio of prospects and donors with the capacity to give gifts of £5,000 and above with a focus on their individual motivations for giving, stewarding them and soliciting them according to their interests and Southbank Centre’s priorities.
- Secure regular giving from Patrons and Commissioning Committee by communicating effectively and engaging them with our work, while also developing bespoke opportunities for these donors to give beyond their annual subscriptions.
- Develop strategies to grow support for Southbank Centre from major donors including identifying new networks and presenting Southbank Centre’s work in compelling ways.
- Meet financial targets, maintain financial records and regularly review portfolio to update forecasts and budgets and identify risks and opportunities.
- Manage the Events Assistant to ensure we deliver high quality cultivation and stewardship experiences for donors and prospects which illuminate the impact of Southbank Centre’s programme.

About the Role
The Philanthropy Lead joins an energised and committed major gifts team covering trusts and major donors. You will have significant ambitions for developing and sustaining relationships with new and existing donors giving up to seven figure gifts.
This role is key to leading excellent stewardship of donors and the management of the recently re-launched 1766 Circle of benefactors. The Role
The WorldGBC is seeking a dedicated Advocacy and Engagement Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in shaping and advancing our global advocacy efforts, influencing policy, and supporting our network of national Green Building Councils (GBCs) in their advocacy work. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing policy positions, conducting research, and engaging with key stakeholders to promote sustainable building practices and policies worldwide. The Advocacy and Engagement Manger will report to and work closely with the Global Advocacy Director.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
● Support for the Global Advocacy Director: Work closely with the Global Advocacy Director to develop and implement WorldGBC's global advocacy strategy. Assist in coordinating the organization’s advocacy efforts across different regions, ensuring alignment with overall objectives. Provide analytical support, prepare briefing materials, and manage specific projects as directed by the Global Advocacy Director. Act as a liaison between the Global Advocacy Director and other team members, stakeholders, and national GBCs to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
