As the Engagement Events Lead, you will oversee the planning, project management, and delivery of a diverse portfolio of bespoke events across the organisation. These events, ranging from dinners and receptions to webinars and VIP tours, will serve to maximize donor cultivation and stewardship opportunities. With a keen attention to detail, you will prepare and maintain project plans for each event, ensuring that deadlines are met, and budgets are adhered to while providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, particularly with the High Value Fundraising teams, you will build strong working relationships to ensure the successful delivery of events. This entails leading project group meetings, responding to inquiries from various stakeholders, and advocating best practices in event management. Additionally, you will supervise staff and volunteers at events and maintain excellent relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration throughout the event process.

To be considered, you will bring experience of delivering successful event/project management in a fundraising environment and will have planned and delivered a portfolio of events/projects to meet targets, within budget. Dogs Trust Worldwide works with local dog welfare organisations around the world to improve the lives of dogs in the communities where they operate.

Dogs Trust are going through a period of growth, with recruitment for two Senior New Partnerships Managers due to the existing Lead getting an internal promotion. There are continuing plans to drive new business through long-term strategic partnerships.

Who we are:

The Dalit Solidarity Network UK is a small human rights organisation working to eliminate caste-based discrimination in the UK and South Asia. Registering as an official charity in 2003, Dalit Solidarity Network UK continues to grow as an effective campaigning and advocacy organisation, working on the issue of caste discrimination in the UK and being an active player in the global movement.  Our major areas of work include documenting 'everyday casteism', building capacity of businesses to address caste-discrimination in overseas supply chains and UK operations and working with UK Higher Education Institutions to protect against caste-discrimination.

Summary of the role:

We are seeking a new Director who will be responsible for working with the Board to:

i) Develop and deliver of DSN-UK's overall strategy and objectives;

ii) Provide strategic leadership to influence the policy and practice of key stakeholders to further DSN’s vision of a ‘world without caste discrimination’;

iii) Lead overall management of DSN-UK, including management of DSN-UK staff, its finances and other resources.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Leadership and strategy

Maintaining partnerships and network support within the UK, with partners in South Asia and international partners.

Operational Management

Responsible for the day-to-day management of DSN-UK, including key  aspects of its internal administration, particularly providing oversight of financial management, annual budgets and the preparation of regular financial and programme reports for the Board.

Fundraising:

Leading the development and implementation of a fundraising strategy for DSN-UK, preparing funding proposals and reporting to donors on project achievements.

Human Resources:

What we are looking for in a Director:

About the role 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Sustrans as part of the Fundraising and Supporter Engagement team as the E-Commerce Manager. 

In line with our ecommerce strategy, Sustrans has invested over the past years to increase sales through our e-commerce shop and now needs to find new approaches to maximise revenue.  

As the E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for maximising e-commerce revenue by optimising the martech stack, improving audience insights, product development/management and  promotion through digital and offline marketing channels.

Job Title:  Training Lead: Parents and Volunteers

Hours:         2.5 days a week 

Salary:    £32,000 for Cardiff Based/£34,000 for London Based

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate and engaging training lead for our parent and volunteer training programs. The training lead for parents and volunteers will lead on the design, development and delivery of a program of training support for parents impacted by Child Sexual Abuse and will support with the delivery of the training for new We Stand volunteers.

Role Description 

To plan, develop and deliver parent training and workshops for protective parents and carers whose

children have been sexually abused; to support parents and carers to understand and process the impacts of child sexual abuse and learn strategies for supporting their children after abuse together with those who share similar experiences. To work collaboratively with We Stand colleagues, to provide support that is accessible, appropriate, timely and tailored to suit the needs of individual clients.

To contribute to the recruitment and selection of We Stand volunteers including student therapists on placement and helpline volunteers. To lead on the delivery of induction and training for all new volunteers and ensure that they are adequately prepared and supported to begin their placement with We Stand.

Parent Training: 

Parent training and workshops are designed to support parents following a disclosure of CSA. The training focuses on providing parents and carers with the useful information and strategies they need to manage and support their child or young person’s journey of recovery. Via 1:1 or group sessions, parents gain the knowledge they need to help them support their child and regain confidence in themselves.

Key Responsibilities

Design and development of content 

• Setting up an annual program of training and workshop delivery for parents and carers

• Ongoing review and development of content to ensure the program is up to date and tailored to the needs of clients

Managing referrals and Assessment of clients 

• Working collaboratively with We Stand colleagues to promote training and workshops to relevant parents and carers

• Managing referrals to training and workshops and assessing the suitability of clients for the program

• Be a point of contact for parents and carers on the waiting list for training and workshops

Delivery of group and individual training 

• Deliver We Stand’s 4-week training programme for parents and carers

• Be a point of contact and support for parents during and immediately after their involvement in the program

• Where appropriate, deliver 1:1 training slots to parents and carers who require this additional support due to e.g. those with additional needs, high levels of anxiety or a particularly complex situation (including sibling abuse)

• Keep accurate and appropriate records for every parent/ carer attending training and workshops

Monitoring and Evaluation 

• Ensure that robust monitoring and evaluation processes are in place to capture the experience of all parents and carers attending training and workshops

• Analyse evaluation data against programme aims and objectives to ensure outcomes are being met and to inform service developments

• Take responsibility for continuous improvement of processes to support the effective delivery of training and workshops for parents and carers

• Contribute towards reports for funders, and the We Stand Board of Trustees

Volunteer Training 

We Stand relies on a team of dedicated and skilled volunteers to help us deliver life-changing support to families impacted by child sexual abuse. This includes via a comprehensive training and induction programme and ongoing professional development.

Leaders in Community (LiC) is an award-winning youth-led organisation with over 15 years' experience in delivering youth leadership and youth social action campaigns, supporting local young people challenge and overcome inequalities and barriers to progression.

As the Partnerships and Services Manager, you will report directly to the CEO and as such will be a member of the leadership team, to deliver Leaders in Community’s (LiC) work to empower young people and communities to improve quality of life and build a sustainable future in line with the Charity’s vision and mission. Kineara is looking for someone who can grow our fundraising potential and engage key stakeholders across the sector, while delivering engaging communications and outreach campaigns that demonstrate our social value and grow our support base. They will play a key role in helping Kineara develop our newly formed charitable arm, alongside our community interest company, to generate income through engaging fundraising campaigns, impact-driven communications and relationship-building with existing and potential funders. 

You will work closely with the Project Managers to identify how support services can reduce barriers to secure housing, work and school; prevent evictions and homelessness; and improve health and wellbeing of people facing challenges. You’ll use this understanding to motivate new stakeholders to invest in our work - whether charitable trusts, corporate foundations or individuals. 

You will feel real ownership over your work and need to be self-starting, flexible and hungry to grow with an already impactful charity with a strong social mission and vision. You will be keen to understand how our work makes a difference to people and use our impact to demonstrate our social value.  This role crosscuts a range of key charitable specialisms, so you may have experience working in communications and be keen to widen your skillset; you may have a background in impact evaluation; or you may have worked in fundraising or development for a non-profit. We are keen to invite candidates with a range of experience from a variety of non-profit roles and are especially interested to meet candidates who have been part of – or are ready to be part of - the strategic growth of a charitable organisation.

Job Description

Communications:     

• Develop, contribute to and implement impact-driven and strategic communications campaigns that build Kineara’s fundraising capacity and raise awareness of the issues
• Develop brand identity for Kineara’s new charitable arm, ensuring it is consistent across all activities in the organisation, while maintaining Kineara’s overall ‘look and feel’ to ensure coherence in branding, colours, messaging, style and approach.
• Oversee the creation, development, distribution of compelling, impact-driven story-telling about Kineara’s work and beneficiaries using interviews, blogs, case studies, etc.
• Use a range of platforms to distribute print and electronic content including, but not limited to, newsletters, brochures, leaflets, posters reports, e-newsletters, and Kineara’s website
• Work closely with IT and business managers to ensure smooth running of internal communications
• Impact:
• Work closely with Operations Manager and practitioners to embed outcomes, create frameworks for monitoring and evaluate Kineara’s projects; and produce yearly evaluations and Impact Report of Kineara’s services
• Use learning from impact analysis to share with team and deliver impact-driven communications and to share our social value to funders and other stakeholders.

Business:

• Perform market research and analysing the Kineara audience and its needs
• Working with management to create and plan public relations strategies and campaigns to enhance brand image and voice
• Writing publicity content such as press releases, newsletters, speeches, website copy, leaflets etc
• Contribute to Kineara evaluation and reporting on projects and proposals
• Contribute to Kineara grant funding application
• Coordinate promotional events and attending conferences, press launches and exhibitions
• Monitoring and responding to feedback from the media and the public about the organisation on traditional and digital channels

• Planning, executing, achieving targets to grow income streams, including donor prospect research, developing new donor relationships, and grant writing.
• Working on effective online or offline fundraising campaigns that influence a range of stakeholders, with a reflective, creative and innovative approach.
• Using impact and outcomes to engage and promote services to funders, partners and other stakeholders. 
• Developing brands and brand awareness in line with organisational objectives

We are now looking for a Member Engagement Officer to assist a lively and talented team with all areas of Remember a Charity’s membership administration, in addition to supporting the marketing and partnerships workstreams.

This is a unique opportunity not only to help grow charitable giving, but to also work closely with those member charities (close to 200) who rely on gifts in Wills to continue their vital work.

Key Accountabilities

· To maintain and update records on Remember A Charity’s CRM database and E-Comms mailing lists for charities, legal supporters and partner organisations. To run CRM reports as required.

· To assist with the onboarding of new joiner charities and legal sector supporters.

· To use the website content management system (CMS) to build member charity and legal sector supporter online profiles; and to make any amends to these profiles and other website pages as required.

· To manage the central In-Box and respond to all enquiries or signpost to the relevant team member.

· To co-ordinate the programme of rolling annual membership renewal and new-joiner invoicing, including credit control of all invoices.

· To prepare monthly engagement report  collating key activity metrics for members and legal sector supporters

· To assist with online and in person member, prospect and legal sector supporter events, including creating registration links, managing attendee information on the CRM and other events preparation and follow-up required.

· Representing Remember A Charity at key charity and legal sector exhibitions when required.

· To capture minutes from all key meetings.

· Diary management when required.

About You

In this role, you will lead a team of 4 people to build strategic relationships with trusts new to WaterAid, as well as provide first-class stewardship to develop existing partnerships in the UK and Europe.

You'll also:

• Support your fellow Senior Managers to build a sustainable pipeline of new business prospects and streamline stewardship activities across the team.
• Work with the wider Philanthropy and Trusts team, and International Programmes Department to build compelling proposals and reports.
• Champion a collaborative and effective team culture, where learning is shared and diversity is celebrated.
• Develop a deep knowledge of WaterAid's programmatic activities and advocacy priorities, growing and leveraging influential relationships internally and externally to benefit trust partnerships.
• Collaborate with colleagues in-country and across WaterAid to prepare and deliver high-quality funding information on complex restricted projects and strategic objectives including complicated budgets and bespoke log frames and KPIs, in line with donor requirements.
• Work with a range of internal and external contacts to identify, cultivate and manage prospective partnerships and existing relationships across all appropriate levels, including CEO's, Directors or Trustees.
• Manage risks across the Trusts sub team by following internal governance procedures, including where relevant SMT briefings, working with media/PR/internal audit/compliance to flag risks and manage mitigation strategies.

About You:

• Demonstrable track record in managing a successful trust and foundation income stream, ensuring team performance indicators and income targets are met.
• Proven ability to personally manage a successful trust and foundation portfolio raising funds from existing and new supporters (£500k+).
• Confidence in representing WaterAid externally at events, conferences and developing co-creation opportunities.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
