About the role

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Hospitality & Wellbeing Support:

• Greet all guests, acting as the first point of contact between the team and external stakeholders visiting 1 Wharf Cottage, namely our clients, volunteers and partners.
• Prepare and serve teas, coffees, and refreshments to clients, volunteers and visitors, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
•  Assist the operations and psychology team with daily administrative tasks, including managing scheduling meetings and client assessments / reviews.
• Assist in the set-up and facilitation of nature-based mental health group activities, providing support to the group leaders and facilitators (where required).

JOB PURPOSE

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organised operations professional to play a key role in strengthening the systems, processes and projects that will underpin our 10-year ambition. The Fundraising Operations Officer will help drive improvements in how the Fundraising team manages data, reporting and income tracking. KEY OBJECTIVES

Operational Oversight

• Oversee day-to-day Fundraising operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, e.g. GDPR and IATI, across all relevant jurisdictions
• When needed, coordinate process improvement initiatives that support Fundraising delivery and create efficiencies, ensuring they work alongside those already used within Lumos
• Manage back-office functions for recruitment, inductions of new starters in the Fundraising team, and management of contractors and other suppliers as appropriate

• Help maintain and improve internal systems and team documentation (e.g., on SharePoint)

Salesforce Administration

• Act as our day-to-day administrator for our Salesforce database

• Take the lead on running selections and reports to support fundraising activity
• As needed, provide basic training and guidance about Salesforce for the team
• Work with the Finance team to reconcile donations recorded on Salesforce with their records

Information Management

• Support the Director of Fundraising with financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis to inform key strategic decisions.
• Deliver accurate and timely income and activity reporting to key stakeholders, including the Chief Executive, Trustees and the Fundraising Committee and to share with external agencies such as the Fundraising Regulator.
• Maintain the risk register, ensuring it reflects activity and can be used as a tool by the Director of Fundraising and Chief Executive

Fundraising Support

• Provide administrative and coordination support for fundraising campaigns, appeals and events
• Assist with donor stewardship, including thank-you letters and donor communications
• Respond to enquiries via the Fundraising inbox, social media or post
• Support scheduling and coordination of Fundraising meetings and cross-team projects
• Collaborate across the organisation to ensure fundraising needs are integrated and aligned

The IPO will undertake and be responsible for a range of administrative functions to advance and simply casework flow under the Sub-Regional Immigration Advice Service (SIAS) project. The IPO must have the ability to communicate effectively with referring agencies and stakeholders on a regular basis. The IPO will organise and present data to funders and others on behalf of NKLC. The IPO would have a good general understanding of Legal Aid casework, and the regulatory obligations set by the SRA and IAA.

The Communications Assistant will be an integral role in the communications directorate, supporting the Director and teams to deliver on ambitious objectives. We’re looking for an organised self-starter with good writing skills, who can turn their hand to event organisation, support with our publications and a variety of communications tasks, as well as offering support to the Communications Director and Heads of Teams. 

You’ll be calm, have good administrative skills, adept at plate spinning and able to manage a varied workload, whilst learning huge amounts about communications and customer engagement. What's the Job?

LSESU is looking for a proactive and driven Facility Coordinator to oversee the daily supervision and operation of our sports facilities. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the spaces, from health and safety compliance to customer service excellence. You’ll also manage internal and external bookings, including LSE Sports Clubs, and coordinate weekly sports events such as BUCS, Club and Society events and private hires from external companies. 
 

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Ops and Facility Manager to deliver the strategic vision for our facilities, focusing on enhancing the user experience. You will oversee training procedures, incident reporting, and various administrative tasks, including financial reporting and facility usage tracking. 
 

You’ll collaborate closely with both staff and students, playing an active part in day-to-day operations and strategic development of the sports facilities. Your work will have a direct impact on the student experience at LSE, ensuring the seamless running of the facilities and successful execution of sporting events, whilst also managing bookings and supporting continuous improvements and innovations.

The Press and Communications officer will oversee our press and media activity, writing press releases and building strong relationships with local and, where relevant, national media. The post holder will be responsible for producing marketing materials – print and online – for the organisation.
