Global Accountant
Location: Europe based, remote or hybrid
Reports to: Global Finance Leadership
We are seeking a Global Accountant to join our global Finance team. This role supports finance, accounting and compliance across multiple international entities and plays a key part in ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and regulatory compliance in a complex, mission driven organization.
This is a hands on role for an experienced accountant who is comfortable working across jurisdictions, managing intercompany activity, supporting VAT accounting, and contributing to grants financial management.
What You Will Do
• Support month end and year end close across multiple entities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules
• Assist with reporting under multiple accounting frameworks, including local GAAP and US GAAP or IFRS
• Manage intercompany billing, reconciliations, and settlements across global entities
• Prepare and review VAT calculations and support VAT compliance across European jurisdictions
• Support grants accounting, including tracking restricted funding, preparing financial reports for funders, and ensuring alignment between grant budgets and actuals
• Provide documentation and support during external audits
• Contribute to improvements in accounting processes, systems, and controls
What You Bring
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Four to six years of progressive accounting experience in an international, multi entity environment
• Practical experience with VAT accounting in Europe
• Experience with grants accounting or funder reporting in a nonprofit or similar environment
• Experience with intercompany accounting and multi currency environments
• Exposure to more than one accounting framework such as local GAAP, IFRS, or US GAAP
• Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Professional fluency in English and French required

RM Recruit are working in partnership with a global Christian charity in the recruitment of a newly defined Head of Finance position for their team. This long‑standing and well‑established organisation delivers specialised support through strategically positioned global hubs, enabling operations across multiple countries and locations in order to deliver its message and services.
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Governance, the Head of Finance will be responsible for key tasks such as the annual budgeting process, forecasting, finance business partnering and ensuring robust financial controls and systems are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- External Financial Reporting - Responsible for delivering accurate, compliant, and timely statutory and tax reporting across the organisation, including leading the group audit process and contributing as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee. Ensuring that reporting capabilities remain robust, fit for purpose, and aligned with best practices.
- Budgeting & Financial Planning - Accountable for managing the annual budgeting process and delivering forecasting to support strategic decision‑making. This includes effective stakeholder engagement, clear timetabling, strong controls, and optimal use of systems.
- Investment Strategy & Management - Serving as a key member of the Investment Committee, with responsibility for executing and overseeing the organisation’s liquidity management and treasury activities.
- Financial Control - Ensuring that Finance function activities comply with prescribed requirements and standards, including reviewing control design to confirm suitability for the associated risks.
- ERP Tool & Projects - Act as the NetSuite and Project Lead for ERP development, collaborating closely with the ICT team and key stakeholders.
Essential Criteria
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant, have experience in a large charity settings or a global businesses and be confident in managing a finance function. This includes overall responsibility for operational finance, management accounts, budgeting, statutory reporting and treasury. Demonstrated expertise in ERP platform, preferably NetSuite, and supporting operations across a global organisation will also be key.
Please note, the organisation has a requirement for all team members to be a practising Christian and actively involved in a local church. There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement (GOR) for this role to be filled by a practising Christian as per the organisations Statement of Faith and day to day prayer based activity involved.

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Research & Analysis Officer to manage and deliver information, data, and analysis to help Youth Futures build evidence for impact.
This is an opportunity for a researcher with excellent data analysis, trial design and data skills to work widely across a busy and ambitious directorate, helping us understand and address youth unemployment in England.
Working with two teams in the Impact and Evidence Directorate, you will gain experience and contribute meaningfully across a range of research and evaluation activities.
- You will work with the Head of Evaluation and Principal Economist to support the design, delivery and management of data systems; scope, commission and manage high-quality evaluations; and conduct data analysis and quantitative social and economic research.
- You will also use your analytical expertise to extract insights from data, identify trends, and liaise with policy and communication teams to prepare outputs for external use.
- You will support the work of YFF’s evaluation team in generating new evidence for employment support programmes and Employer Practice through impact evaluations, including Randomised Controlled Trials.
- The role also offers opportunities to work on data visualisations for effective communication of data and research insights.
This role can be based at our Birmingham, Leeds or London hub. We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.
