We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Events Fundraising Assistant to help deliver our growing programme of challenge events and community fundraising activities on a fixed-term contract to May 2027. Supporting the Events, Community and Digital Fundraising Manager, you will play an important role in delivering an excellent experience for our supporters from the moment they register through to event day and beyond. You'll help with participant communications, event administration, fundraising stewardship, supporter enquiries, logistics and event delivery, ensuring every supporter feels valued and inspired throughout their fundraising journey.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Global HR Operations -
· Maintain a high-quality global HR operations function, including standardized policies where legally appropriate, standardized processes, technology, systems, tools, forms, and guidelines that are accessible, well understood, and consistently utilized across all offices.
· Balance global organizational standards and compliance requirements with the operational, cultural, and legal realities of individual country offices, ensuring an appropriate and practical approach across diverse environments.

Employee Services -

· Ensure all offices and employees hired through EOR arrangements have access to an HR Help Desk or equivalent support structure with timely communication, responsiveness, and follow-up.
· In consultation with the VP HR and General Counsel, and in coordination with HRBPs, manage complex employee relations matters in a balanced, fair, and objective manner using appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention, and mediation techniques.
· Serve as an internal consultant and facilitator to managers and employees in resolving employment and performance-related issues in collaboration with HR business partners as appropriate.
· In collaboration with the Director of Talent Management and HR Country Teams, ensure timely delivery of training to managers on HR operations, policies, systems, and practices; and support clear communication of Vital HR business practices to employees globally.

Qualifications:
Education -

The International HR Operations Administrator provides pro-active, generalist HR operations support to all staff. About the role
The Cloud Systems Engineer is responsible for leading the management, optimisation and security of CARE International UK’s cloud infrastructure and enterprise systems. The role focuses on maintaining highly available and secure platforms, supporting infrastructure transformation and cloud migration activity, and ensuring effective administration of core services including Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows and Linux servers, identity services, networking, backup and disaster recovery. The donor experience & stewardship manager will report to the head of fundraising operations & strategy.
We are seeking a creative and driven donor experience manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Working alongside members of the wider team, you will lead on creating and delivering a gold-standard experience for major donors supporting the Royal Free Charity, showcasing the impact their support has across our hospital sites. The Head of Finance and Operations is a core member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and provides comprehensive operational and financial leadership across the organisation, responsible for maintaining long-term financial sustainability through robust budgeting and financial control, while safeguarding the charity’s assets and regulatory compliance. Other responsibilities include accountability for the full employee lifecycle and for driving organisational culture of inclusion, wellbeing, and continuous learning, while enabling seamless cross-departmental alignment and collaboration. This senior leadership position blends high-level strategy with hands-on operational delivery, collaborating closely with Trustees, donors, colleagues, and external providers to optimise operational functions and systems.
The successful candidate will have strong finance experience having managed a finance function previously. You will bring some experience relating to HR and HR process and be keen to develop any of those other areas operations areas in the role. You will bring line management experience having managed and motivated teams. Our client is open to considering candidates who are fully accountancy qualified or qualified by experience.

About the Role
Over the past two and a half years, the wellbeing provision at Freedom from Torture has evolved considerably through the adoption of a systemic, trauma-informed approach. This approach recognises wellbeing as a shared organisational and individual responsibility, taking into account the complex interplay of systems, relationships, and environmental factors that shape wellbeing.
The post holder will help lead on the development of all aspects of Freedom from Torture’s wellbeing strategy. It will range from advising senior leaders on organisational decisions impacting wellbeing, designing and recommending service delivery initiatives, creating training products and systematically evaluating the efficacy of the wellbeing approach.
Freedom from Torture’s external presence in the wellbeing sphere, amongst refugee sector organisations, is growing from strength to strength. The postholder will need to keep the momentum, sharing best practice across the sector.
About You
The successful candidate will have experience in leading wellbeing initiatives effectively, have a strong understanding of how wellbeing fits in with a Human Rights organisation and possess knowledge of what excellent wellbeing practice includes within organisations directly supporting traumatised individuals and families.
They will demonstrate confidence in driving organisation-wide engagement with wellbeing initiatives, fostering open dialogue on sensitive issues, and translating emerging research and best practice into meaningful action across a multidisciplinary environment.

Our policy is that all appointments will be at the start of the salary range, but successful candidates will have the opportunity to move up the scale over time. The progression up the salary range is reviewed on an annual basis and subject to affordability. For this role, the salary range is £ 37,479 - £43,476 per annum for 28 hours.
