The IT Systems & Security Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the IT strategy and operational plans which supports the charity’s vision, mission and objectives. 

This role will be responsible for ensuring that all IT services are successfully delivered across the charity by defining, creating and maintaining the IT environment including; the management of all technical systems, system upgrades, interfaces and customisations, infrastructure, applications, security and IT governance.  In addition, this role will identify opportunities to ensure the technology, systems and tools used are fully integrated and embedded throughout the charity, with a view to maximising performance, optimising efficiency and creating a sustainable platform for future growth.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Final point of escalation, extensive troubleshooting, provide guidance to IT Team

· Complete comprehensive troubleshooting of escalated tickets raised with the IT Department

· Document troubleshooting steps and progress and/or call closure details within the ticketing system

· Feedback to wider team on ticket trends or common issues occurring including potential security threats

· Line management of Systems Administrator

Administer ARUK Network

· Manage Day to day interactions with Manage Network MSP

· Management, administration and monitoring of ARUK Virtual IT environment

· Management, administration of Azure tenancy and Office 365

· Management, administration and monitoring of backups

· Provide support and guidance to Systems Administrator

Working on IT Projects

· Working on projects of differing complexity, from initial requirement gathering, planning, implementation, rollout and testing

· Provide regular feedback on project progress to stakeholders and Head of IT

· Assist Systems Administrator in their project work and complete any delegated tasks

Security

· Keep up to date with IT industry development and current security developments

· Manage day to day interaction with outsources Security Operations as a Service MSP

· Work with MSP to make recommendations to IT Management to improve security posture

What we are looking for:

· Relevant formal qualifications or relevant experience

· Extensive Knowledge and proven experience of managing the following - Windows operating systems, Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Server, IT support principles, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Mobile Device Management, Networks, System storage, IT documentation

· Extensive knowledge and awareness of: IT Security best practices, IT security solutions, IT security threats

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby (GBWR) is the national governing body for the game of wheelchair rugby in England, Scotland, and Wales, is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, and is a full member of World Wheelchair Rugby (WWR) and of the British Paralympic Association (BPA).  

In the last ten years, GBWR has grown the paralympic discipline of the sport from a domestic league with a single division comprised of seven teams, to one which now has three leagues providing competition opportunities for 22 teams. The domestic league is internationally recognised for its high level of competition, where it regularly sees international players from Europe joining domestic teams and strengthening the level of competition.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and driven Head of Community and Participation to lead the development and implementation of strategies aimed at significantly increasing participation in wheelchair rugby across Great Britain. This pivotal role will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful community outreach programs, engaging with local clubs and organisations, and developing innovative approaches to reach new participants, particularly those that are classifiable for wheelchair rugby (Paralympic discipline).

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in community development, sports development, and marketing, with a strong understanding of how to build sustainable participation pathways. At Northampton Students’ Union, our Sports Development Coordinator plays a pivotal role in enriching the student experience through sport. By overseeing over 35 free-to-join sports clubs, they ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all students, regardless of background or ability. Their responsibilities include managing sports programming, coordinating events like Varsity and Sports Awards, and fostering relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. By supporting student-led initiatives and promoting participation, the Sports Development Coordinator helps create a vibrant, active campus community.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Book internal and external facilities for training and fixtures.  Ensure that the clubs use suitable facilities of an appropriate standard, while following SU procedures and maintaining good relationships with the facility provider.
2. Operational responsibility for all SU affiliated sports activity, including approving risk assessment and dealing with all accident reports for sports clubs.
3. To ensure that appropriate process is followed when disciplinary issues occur with Sports Clubs.
4. To lead on Sports Awards and Varsity, to ensure a safe and relevant event is delivered.
5. To feed into the budget-setting process, and be responsible for spending the Sports budget, following financial processes accordingly.
6. To support all sports club volunteers in the development and delivery of their activities and events.
7. Responsible for the growth and development of new sports and developing processes that enable students to either set up new activities or expand current activities.
8. To be the organisation’s main point of contact for British Universities and Colleges Sport.
9. To deliver all administrative processes for BUCS-related activity on behalf of the organisation.

The Programme Manager at Western Forest will oversee the delivery of multiple projects within the woodland creation and restoration programme, working closely with Project Managers/leads and the Woodland and Nature Recovery Manager. The Bird of Prey Project is a registered charity and multiple award-winning visitor centre and zoo working to conserve birds of prey, restore habitats and make wildlife education accessible. At this exciting time for the organisation, we are looking to recruit a new Charity Manager who can manage the visitor centre whilst working alongside the Board of Trustees to develop strategy and objectives for the charity. What is the role about?

The Charity Manager works directly with the Board of Trustees to manage the charity and visitor centre.

The visitor centre receives over 10,000 visitors per year who provide the majority of the charity’s income. The senior bird team provide a high standard of ethical raptor care to over 20 species, using restraint free management and free-flight techniques, and also deliver experiences and displays to the public. The Charity manager works to ensure that the site is safe and compliant with law & best practice, the senior bird team are provided with adequate resources and that the visitor centre is meeting goals for income generation.   

The charity’s mission is to Conserve birds of prey, restore habitats and make wildlife education accessible. The Charity Manager over-sees the staff team delivering the charity activities, ensuring work is recorded and reported correctly.

You would also be responsible for line managing both Deputy Centre Managers. You should be confident in making decisions and able to balance opportunity and risk. An ability to operate within and develop governance, finance and risk frameworks is also a key part of the role, and whilst a background with working with birds of prey or in wildlife conservation is not necessary, you should be passionate about The Bird of Prey Project’s mission.

• Develop funding bids for future initiatives such as the prevention of serious youth violence, working with the Youth Endowment Fund, Violence Reduction Units, and developing funding streams for the School and College Pastor initiatives with appropriate funding bodies.
• Develop vision, strategy and training for growth in new and existing initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a communications strategy for the Synergy Network, including events organisation, website and social media maintenance.
• Support the Synergy Network board by organising events, maintaining the website and social media platforms.

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic and relationship-driven Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager to lead on growing and stewarding First Give’s portfolio of high-value funders. This role will focus on securing income from High Net Worth Individuals and developing corporate partnerships – from first engagement to account management and delivery.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping First Give’s income growth, working closely with our Deputy Director. This role will also support key engagement activities, including hosting donors at student-led Final events and facilitating employee volunteering at schools.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident fundraiser and communicator with experience managing and deepening relationships with both individuals and corporates – someone who thrives on strategy, storytelling, and social impact.

Corporate Partnerships

• Work with the Deputy Director and members of the Campaign Board to develop a proactive pipeline of corporate partners, focusing on strategic alignment, mutual benefit and long-term value
• Lead on developing tailored pitches, proposal decks and partner materials
• Support the delivery of corporate partnerships, including recognition, benefits, volunteering engagement and impact reporting

Donor Engagement and Stewardship

• Work with the Deputy Director and Campaign Board to identify and cultivate new HNWI prospects
• Collaborate with members of First Give’s Fundraising Campaign Board to generate and support with requests for funding to HNWI and Corporates
• Develop and implement a HNWI outreach strategy, including managing a cultivation pipeline and tracking engagement milestones
• Coordinate and deliver engaging stewardship activities and materials, including tailored updates, reports, and thank-you communications

Person Specification

Essential Experience and Skills

• Demonstrable success in securing significant income from Corporates and HNWI
• Strong experience managing relationships with institutional donors, from cultivation to reporting
• Excellent written communication skills – able to craft compelling, strategic proposals and reports
• Understanding of corporate fundraising and partnership delivery, including employee engagement and volunteering
• Confident and personable – able to represent First Give at events and in donor meetings
• Experience engaging senior stakeholders or board members
• Strong pipeline management and ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple prospects and reporting requirements

As the Head of Connect & Nourish you will be responsible for providing a welcoming, accessible and nurturing environment based on all aspects of food from sourcing to delivery. This role is much more than delivering healthy, nutritious food, it is also about encouraging and enabling social and community cohesion through fellowship and support.

You will work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to provide the strong, caring and effective leadership required for GL11 to thrive. You will consult and advise on GL11’s strategy and operational plans, making sure your team’s personal objectives are aligned to the overall plan and are on track to meet the agreed targets.

Through your leadership GL11 will continue to grow and be visible whilst meeting the varying needs of our communities. You will ensure that the welcoming and supportive culture of GL11 continues to inspire and that our vision, values and key aims are a living part of all our work. You will work collaboratively with the community to understand how, together, we can begin to effect system change in all our areas of work. You will use a community development approach and deliver through a range of resources including volunteers.
