Due to the formation of the new Wales Fundraising Board, an exciting new role has been created to help deliver a portfolio of corporate partnerships and events, to identify and secure new corporate partnerships and support the work of the wider UK team. The postholder will need to ideally be within or close to South Wales as regular contact with prospects and partners will be required.
As Corporate Partnerships Manager – Wales, you will be supported by the Supporter Fundraising Manager (your line manager), and work alongside a Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager and Senior Philanthropy Manager. You will manage a varied and exciting portfolio of new and longstanding partners across Wales (focused primarily on South Wales) and identify, develop and win new corporate support through Charity of the Year, events, commercial and strategic opportunities.
As Corporate Partnerships Manager – Wales, you will:
- Support the corporate fundraising team in your region conveying regional expertise and corporate partnerships knowledge to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaboratively work towards a corporate partnership team target of c.£200k
- Develop a fully researched and engaged prospect pipeline of five and six figure future corporate supporters
- Play a key role in maximising income for the NSPCC from existing commercial partnerships and relationships and ensuring the highest standard of proactive support and development
Ideal skills and experience:
- Experience of account/partnership management or new business within the third or commercial sector
- Success in developing and securing relationships to achieve results within a fundraising, sales or marketing environment
- Ability to deliver results as set out in a team or departmental plan
- An outgoing, confident individual, who can work on their own initiative and is achievement and results orientated
- You may come from Events, Community or a similar type of relationship management role

About the role:
This role is based at our National Contact Centre in Cardiff.
As a Helpline Adviser you will be: -
- Able to respond to victims of and those affected by crime by providing emotional support, information and referral on to Victim Support services and other agencies
- Providing immediate support, advice and trauma first aid referrals to victims of and those affected by major incidents and terrorism.

About the role
This is a great opportunity to work within the Stories team at Shelter, recruiting people from within relevant services and outside the organisation to share their experiences to support Shelter’s fundraising, media, services, campaigning, research and brand work. As well as making contact with people willing to share their stories, you’ll be able to listen to someone’s experience and write a summary of their story. The traineeship lasts 15 months and you will receive personalised training and support to help remove some of the barriers that may have prevented you from getting meaningful employment. Once your traineeship is complete, we will support you in securing further employment in the future.
About you
We are looking for people who have lived experience of homelessness/bad housing and overcoming personal challenges and who are passionate about using their own life experiences to help make positive change for others. Good communication skills and the ability to make people feel heard will also be essential. Basic computer skills, e.g. word processing, the internet and email would be useful, but support can be provided. Above all, we need people with a real desire to develop personally and learn new skills.

About Fusion:
Fusion Maidstone is a health & wellbeing charity based in Park Wood. We opened our doors in 2003 and set about developing programmes, activities and services to address the changing needs of the residents of Park Wood with a strong focus on addressing health inequalities. Fusion works in the community to offer assistance in four key areas Public Health, Food/Food Poverty, Social Inclusion, Mental Health. Services are either delivered directly by Fusion or by a network of partner agencies. We bring services to local people thereby removing barriers to engagement.
Park Wood Connects Project
Courtesy of the National Lottery Community Fund Fusion Maidstone are able to launch their Park Wood Connects project which is a three year engagement and support initiative co-designed with the local community to support people struggling with the combined effects of the cost-of-living crisis, the mental health crisis, and high levels of social isolation/loneliness in one of the South East’s most deprived communities. To address the growing numbers of vulnerable local residents we propose to do two things through the Park Wood Connects project:
- Reach out better across the community to make more people aware that we and our partners are here to help.
- Make more services available locally by encouraging more people and organisations to begin delivering support locally.
About the Community Outreach Worker Role
Fusion is employing a Community Outreach Worker who has a great sense of community and customer service, enjoys working in an outreach environment and who is looking to make a positive difference to the local community.
Working closely with a second Community Outreach Worker and the Community Project Coordinator you will be performing tasks associated with community outreach including identifying and directly engaging with hard-to-reach individuals and families, providing responsive and effective support, deliver drop-in information sessions, recruit, induct and train volunteers to support the project, organise and host community engagement events throughout the year.

Contract Managers are responsible for the effective management of all contracts within their designated patch, including line managing the relevant front line staff. About the role:
We are looking for an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) to work alongside our other Community IDVA. This is a full-time, permanent role. The aim of this role is to support victims of domestic abuse mainly covering Bedford, working with victims of domestic abuse who are predominately risk assessed as standard/medium. This role will also work alongside our other services covering Bedfordshire.
As an IDVA you will be:
- Providing a high quality support and advocacy service to victims of domestic abuse.
- Managing a caseload; identifying and assessing risks and needs, providing a tailored crisis intervention service through individual safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
- Working with other agencies and advocating on behalf of service users in order to help them access services to keep them safe.
- Working within a multi-agency framework consisting of partners as well as MARAC and other local partnerships to offer a coordinated response to domestic abuse.
- Promoting the service and raise awareness of domestic abuse through the delivery of training
You will need:
- Experience of working in support and advocacy with victims of domestic abuse is advantageous
- To be able to prioritise work and deal with competing or conflicting demands/needs and interests and promote organisation interests and values.
- To ideally hold a SafeLives IDVA accreditation, relevant degree, vocational qualification or relevant experience of delivering a service and working with domestic abuse victim's/service users in a statutory, voluntary or community work setting.

Role Overview
This position requires a proactive approach to ensure the smooth functioning of Operations and Facilities across our company.

Job Purpose
- Review procedures to streamline and increase efficiency, including IT procedures, office management procedures, stock up keep etc.
- Reception: Post and deliveries collection and dispatch, welcoming visitors and responding to queries.
- Stock check of the staff shared space, responsible for orders placement and financial spend tracking.
- Responsible for shared inboxes related to fleet management, operations, maintenance and feedback.

Support Worker
We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join our Hope House service in Slough.
£24,960.00 per annum, working 40 hours per week. Benefits include 25 days Annual Leave, pension schemes, staff discounts, healthcare and career progression.

We provide support for 16 customers, we have two sites Hope House (10 bed supported housing) Doddsfield Rd (6 flats independent living with floating support).
Hope House - Support hours 24 hours 7 days per week, with sleep- in based on a shift rota pattern - (sleep-ins staff are paid additional to salary advertised).
Doddsfield Rd - Floating support (during working hours)
Team - 1X Contract Manager, 1X Team Leader, 3.2 Support Workers.
Current Vacancy - 1x FTE/1 x FTC Support Worker role who will be allocated to work with customers at both sites.
Staff work closely with Slough Community Mental Health Team (SCMHT) we also have a designated Occupational Therapist working along side supporting staff. Customers also attend Hope College which is facilitated via Slough Mental Health Team as part of their recovery process needed in preparation into independent living.
This is a great opportunity for any support worker to gain exceptional experience within the mental health field, based on the solid working relationship with (SCMHT) We have since implemented training directly from SCMHT to support staff with understanding Mental Health diagnosis and Managing Crisis with our customers in-house.
