Harris Hill is delighted to be working with a fantastic children's charity that support disadvantaged children by giving them the skills they need to succeed.

Your new role

The Trust Fundraising Manager is responsible for generating income from charitable trusts and foundations, with a focus on growing and sustaining long-term partnerships. You will be identifying opportunities for new funding from charitable trusts and foundations to support our work and research and target charitable trusts and foundations whose criteria match the charity's aims and activities. You will build and manage a pipeline of bids to secure a sustainable mix of multi-year grants of five and six-figure sums, coordinating your pipeline with other members of the team. You will need to achieve income targets and ensure the sustainability of the income stream and manage a portfolio of existing charitable trusts and foundations to increase their grant giving. You will also manage processes for all funder reporting and communications, including acknowledging receipt, grant monitoring, evaluation, and impact reporting and ensure we fulfil our obligations to funding partners.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you will need strong experience of generating income from trusts, foundations, and statutory sources, writing successful bids of at least £80k-£100k and management of funder and wider stakeholder relations. You will need knowledge of principles of effective fundraising and excellent planning and research skills for income generation. You will also need excellent communication skills across all levels and be able to manage multiple projects, identifying conflicting demands and establishing priorities to meet objectives.

What you'll get in return

This organisation offers significant flexibility with hybrid working, an annual salary up to £38,000 and 39 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
