Key responsibilities of the role:

• Implement approved sales and fundraising strategies and workplans
• Translate targets into outreach schedules, campaigns, and account plans
• Monitor market trends and provide feedback for strategy refinement
• Ensure alignment with brand, impact frameworks, and ethical standards
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline across all key funder segments
• Execute full business development cycle
• Deliver offerings (e.g. memberships, consulting, events) with consistent value
• Lead compliant bid submissions and tenders
• Develop tailored proposals, decks, and budgets using templates

• Collaborate with programme leads on offer packaging and pricing
• Manage onboarding, delivery, reporting, and recognition processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate grant and sponsorship reporting

Ideal candidate profile:

• Strong proposal writing, pitching and negotiation skills

We’re looking for a Policy and Research Officer to join the Magistrates’ Association and turn evidence into influence.

The MA is the only independent membership body for magistrates in England and Wales. With around 12,000 members, we speak truth to power, support our members, and advocate for a fairer and more effective justice system.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. One day you might be writing a briefing for a parliamentary inquiry or drafting a consultation response; the next you could be analysing survey data, supporting one of our national policy committees, or working with colleagues to launch a new advocacy report in the media.

You’ll be joining a small, supportive team where your ideas can have real impact. Recent projects have tackled judicial diversity, recognition for magistrates, reform of the Single Justice Procedure, and access to justice for disabled magistrates. • Impaired child development
• Reduced school attendance
• Increased risk of HIV in women
• Infertility

The role
 
This is an opportunity for an experienced trust fundraiser to supercharge Unlimit Health’s trust and foundations income stream through updating and expanding the trust and foundations pipeline, qualifying new potential donors and making initial approaches and funding applications. You will help to secure a modest new business income target for the year 25/26 and lay the foundations for further expansion of the income stream in 26/27 and beyond.
 
You will be well organised and have excellent research and communication skills, with the tact and tenacity to establish and maintain productive relations with funding organisations of different kinds.

Tender is an arts charity working with children and young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. Our programmes are safe, enjoyable, age-appropriate spaces where young people can engage with sensitive topics and “rehearse” for real-life scenarios. Participants are encouraged to be both consumers and producers of learning through script-work, role-play and creative media such as films and art. Throughout, we enable young people to explore their choices, rights and expectations in relationships and to recognise the early warning signs of abuse. 

We have grown rapidly in recent years, and now have an exciting and varied programme of work which is funded from a wide range of sources. We have long-standing, high-value relationships with organisations such as the Mayor’s Office, Esmée Fairbairn and Clifford Chance, and continue to grow our income from a range of supporters from trusts, foundations, corporates, individuals and community fundraisers.

We now have a need for an Officer to work closely with the Development Director and CEO in developing our corporate income stream, managing the accounts of existing corporate partners and generating income through securing new corporate partnerships. These partnerships will generate both donations and earned income, with corporate partners contracting Tender to deliver workplace training. You will also work closely with our Corporate Advisory Board, which includes a diverse, ambitious group of professionals who are supporting us to maximise our corporate income stream. This role will involve a diverse range of work, from identifying prospects, creating compelling funding approaches and workforce training pitches, through to successfully managing relationships with corporate partners.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in researching and developing prospect lists for priority industries and implementing new business campaigns which will secure multi-year high value partnerships, both for workplace training and donations
• Experience of selling training programmes to businesses
• Experience in developing engaging and impactful partnership proposals and training propositions
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop strong relationships at all levels

The main purposes of the Development Officer role are:

• Working with the Development team to collectively achieve annual fundraising targets exceeding £2m per year
• Selling workplace training and donation opportunities to corporate partners across a range of industries, but in particular the legal and financial services sectors
• Supporting the CEO and Development Director to increase Tender’s workplace training delivery in order to achieve income targets through sales
• Contributing to applications and events in support of fundraising from other sources
