This role will be a crucial part of Baytree’s Adult Education team, which currently consists of an Academic Manager, one other Academic Administrator (who is reducing her working hours after many years of service for Baytree), two ESOL tutors and the Women’s Service Director. The role

Legal Counsel

About the Team:
The Global Assurance Team at WaterAid reports directly to the Chief Executive of WaterAid UK, with an independent reporting line to the Audit and Risk Committee. The team is line-managed by the Global Assurance Director.
About the Role:
As our Legal Counsel you will report to the Head of Legal and support them in providing legal support to WaterAid in the UK.
In this role, you will provide sound and pragmatic legal advice to all levels of the organisation.
You'll also:
- Review and help to negotiate existing and new contracts, in particular supplier contracts and grant agreements, recognising and responding to the risks;
- contribute to the development and training of colleagues to drive best practise in contract management;
- respond to legal queries from across WaterAid; and
- maintain and develop the legal resources including agreement templates.
About You:
You will be a qualified solicitor (English law) with 2+ years PQE,
To be successful, you'll need:
- A combination of commercial and contract law experience gained in-house or in a pro-active private practice environment
- A proactive approach to identifying legal risks and providing pragmatic and balanced solutions, managing expectations;
- To display high ethical standards and maintain confidentiality at all times; and
- The ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and supportively but assertively hold senior managers to account.
Although not essential, we also prefer you to have:
- Awareness of relevant Charity and Company law and knowledge of best practice.
- Knowledge of the workings of the Charities Commission and the Fundraising Regulator.
- Experience in providing high-quality customer service to a diverse range of customers.

The Epilepsy Research Institute serves as the central hub for the epilepsy research community. Our mission is to radically advance research into the causes, prevention and treatment of epilepsy and associated conditions. Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to join our Relationship Fundraising Department for a 3 year fixed term contract. The role sits within an 11 person Corporate Fundraising team, which has an overall target of £3.5m.
It is a truly exciting time to be joining Centrepoint, as we work towards our vision to end youth homelessness by 2037. Partnerships and support from our corporate partners are a key part of making this vision a reality.
The Partnerships Manager will primarily be responsible for managing a new and exciting multi-year strategic partnership. This new partnership will be the largest multi-year partnership in Centrepoint’s corporate portfolio and will be transformational for Centrepoint and the young people we work with.
Working between our offices as well as our corporate partner’s office (an hour from London by train), to fully integrate yourself with the organisation, you will be the account manager and main point of contact leading on the successful delivery of all aspects of the partnership. This will include building upon existing plans and relationships and implementing new strategies to achieve targets and objectives for the partnership.
You will be an ambitious and driven account manager with extensive experience at a 6 figure plus level high profile strategic partnerships. Experience managing complex partnerships, ideally with a marketing or consumer-facing element, is beneficial. You will be comfortable developing and delivering partnership strategies and objectives, and working in a target driven environment. You will be an excellent communicator and networker, with the ability to form strong relationships externally and internally, including engaging with a range of stakeholders at senior management level.
In particular, the post holder will:
· Lead on the successful delivery of this partnership in line with the agreed objectives by providing first class account management and strategic planning;
· Produce annual plans, budgets and KPIs to effectively manage the partnership;

· Represent Centrepoint and the partnership at our own and third party events.
· Actively participate in all team meetings and support other team members.
· Potentially manage other corporate partnership accounts as required.
· Work from partner office (an hour by train from London) at least twice a month.
