The Role

As Community and Trusts Fundraiser, you will be at the heart of our community fundraising efforts while also taking ownership of your fundraising portfolio, focusing on maximising income from Community groups, Individuals, Trusts and Foundations (both UK and international). You'll build and manage your own portfolio of donors, create fundraising initiatives and try new approaches that inspire and encourage community fundraising. Your Responsibilities:

· Develop and deliver engaging fundraising campaigns and activities for community groups and individuals.

· Create and manage a calendar of fundraising events and opportunities that engage and inspire participation from community groups

• Build and manage a portfolio of community supporters, trusts and foundations to maximise income and awareness.
• Develop a robust pipeline of funding applications, securing grants from trusts and foundations.

We’re looking for pleasant and approachable drivers who are sensitive to our users’ needs.

You must hold a clean Category D1 driving licence and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of driving. The ability to maintain accurate vehicle and user records is essential as is the ability to undertake daily and weekly vehicle checks and carry out simple maintenance tasks. Desirable skills and experience include: MiDAS (Minibus Driving Awareness Scheme) training, working with people with disabilities, and a current First Aid qualification but full training can be given. A knowledge of the Reading and Basingstoke area would also be beneficial.

Hours of work:

Mornings: Tuesday (8.15 am -10.15am)

Afternoons: Tuesday (2.45pm – 4.45pm)

Plus opportunity to cover additional shifts Wednesday - Friday 8.15-10.15 and 2.45-4.45

Position Overview

The Team Administrator is responsible for providing efficient, organised and proactive administrative support to the CEO, as well as supporting the wider team across a number of administrative areas.

Main Duties

Executive Assistant support

Our partner is seeking a consultant to conduct a review of its finance function, including structure, processes and systems with a view of improving effectiveness and efficiency. This exercise stems from the fact that the finance function of the organisation has developed organically over the course of the organisation’s life and growth, covering the expansion of programmes and the opening of new administrative offices.

Scope of the Review

• Review of the current structure - assess what functions are best delivered in each location, the skillset of finance staff and what capacity is needed in each location to deliver these services.
• Review of the processes and systems; and make recommendations on how processes might be streamlined to address bottlenecks and streamline these.
• Advise on how the finance function might operate more effectively as a global function
• Advise on what IT/systems solutions might further improve efficiency

Requirements

• A qualified senior finance professional with experience of change management within an international not for profit, specifically reviewing the structure of the finance function, undertaking in-depth review and analysis of global processes and systems.
• Experience of working in a complex grant-funded environment with knowledge of full grants cycle management.
• Strong relationship building, communication and influencing skills.

They anticipate this project to start in October 2025, ending in December 2025. The postholder will be working closely with the COO who has a vision of what the change process will entail, alongside two other significant pieces of work the organisation is undertaking at the same time.

• Lead the end-to-end management of all RCS events, ensuring the successful delivery of high-profile, ceremonial, and fundraising events.
• Oversee event planning, including venue sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier coordination, protocol, security, AV, catering, and staffing.
• Manage the delivery of the Commonwealth Day Service at Westminster Abbey, ensuring coordination with the Royal Household, Westminster Abbey, the BBC, and government departments.
• Deliver a Commonwealth Concert as a key fundraising and engagement event, managing all artistic, production, and logistical elements.
• Organise the High Commissioners’ Banquet at Mansion House, coordinating with the City of London Corporation, the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council, diplomatic missions, and keynote speakers.
• Support other public-facing events, including those connected to The Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition, and the Commonwealth Clean Oceans Plastics Campaign.
• Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring events are delivered on time and within financial parameters.
• Oversee guest and stakeholder management, including invitations, RSVP tracking, VIP handling, seating plans, and pre-event briefings.
• Prepare comprehensive briefing materials for events, including biographies, guest lists, and running orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with protocol requirements.
• Draft and coordinate speaking notes for key participants and speakers, tailored to the event’s purpose, audience, and messaging objectives.
• Maintain and update key documentation, including event timelines, run sheets, contact lists, and risk assessments.
• Support post-event evaluation, producing summary reports and identifying lessons learned.
• Assist in fundraising endeavours such as grant writing and donor stewardship.

We are looking for a Trust Fundraising Officer to join our supportive Trusts and Grants fundraising team, playing a key role in helping raise vital funds for services that support people experiencing and recovering from homelessness to rebuild their lives.

In the role of Trust Fundraising Officer, you will work closely with a team of four other trust fundraisers, helping to meet our income target of circa £1.5m in 2025-26, and produce high quality written proposals and reports that reflect the impact of philanthropic support on the people we work with.

In this role, you will develop compelling fundraising proposals about our varied projects and will be supported to manage a portfolio of small to medium trusts and family foundations (giving up to £10,000). You will build strong relationships with trust funders, communicating the impact of their grants and helping them to feel connected to the work they are supporting.

In this role you will be required to work flexibly for at least 2 days per week from our Central Office in Tower Hill, London. This allows for in person collaboration, team meetings and other relationship building opportunities. We support a flexible approach to work with opportunities for agile working for the rest of your week; from home, or other St Mungo’s London or regional locations. 

About you

We think this role will suit someone keen to develop their skills in fundraising. If you have some experience in a fundraising environment, and an understanding of trusts and grants our dedicated team will support you to learn all about the interests and working methods of trusts, foundations and charitable grant makers.

You will be able to demonstrate good organisation skills, interest in working collaboratively as part of a team; and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of different people while promoting the values of St Mungo’s and the work that we do as a charity.

About the role

As Director of Impact and Charitable Programmes, you will ensure every pound raised by the Charity delivers the greatest possible benefit for children, families and staff at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. This new senior leadership role carries significant autonomy, overseeing the strategy and operations of the charity’s grant-making function and the Art+ team.

You will lead the team managing grant applications, from small-scale requests to major projects, ensuring funds are strategically allocated, transparently managed, and rigorously evaluated to maximise impact.  Reporting to the CEO and working closely with internal colleagues, and a wide range of NHS partners, you will provide strategic oversight of key projects, monitor delivery and outcomes and embed a culture of evidence-based decision-making across the organisation.

In addition, you will lead and champion the charity-funded Art+ programme, supporting participatory arts initiatives that enhance the patient environment and contribute to creative therapeutic care.

As a visible and influential member of the Senior Leadership team, you will help shape organisational strategy, represent the charity externally and ensure governance, compliance and risk management underpin all decisions.
