This is a pivotal leadership role at a time of strategic change and opportunity. The Head of Income Generation will be responsible for delivering significant and sustainable income growth across our key fundraising streams: Corporate Partnerships, Community & Events, Trusts & Grants, Legacies, and Lottery & Individual Giving.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Lead the development and delivery of the income generation strategy in line with the new three-year organisational strategy.
- Identify and develop new opportunities for sustainable income generation across all core streams.
- Set and monitor annual income targets, KPIs, and budgets, ensuring accountability and strong financial oversight.
- Support the CEO as part of the Senior Leadership team and contribute significantly to the growth of the charity.
- Hold a key working relationship with the Marketing and Comms Manager, making sure both departments are fully aligned with our new strategy.
Fundraising Development
- Oversee and grow income across:

- Trusts & Grants – work with external agencies to support in securing significant grants.
- Legacies – work with external agencies to nurture and grow our legacy giving programme

This is a demanding but deeply rewarding role that combines service delivery, engagement, and emotional resilience. As Events & Engagement Officer, you will work closely with our Operational Support Team to design and deliver a varied programme of online and in-person events. These will support the wellbeing of our Members (adult family members of injured veterans and serving personnel), reduce isolation, and build understanding of the challenges faced by military families.
The Ripple Pond is a UK-wide charity that supports the adult family members of physically or psychologically injured Armed Forces personnel and veterans. We provide peer support, structured guidance, and signposting to improve wellbeing and reduce isolation for families who often carry complex emotional burdens in silence. Our work is rooted in lived experience and built on a foundation of inclusion, compassion, and community.
The Operational Support Team lies at the heart of our frontline service. It delivers one-to-one support, coordinates safeguarding and triage, and ensures Members are connected to the right pathways at the right time. It is a trauma-informed, emotionally intelligent team that works with care and professionalism, ensuring that no one caring for an injured veteran or serviceperson feels alone.
You will start your time with The Ripple Pond by embedding into the Operations Team for approximately two months. This will give you a firm grounding in the lived experiences of our Members and ensure you’re fully trained to act as Duty Officer. As Duty Officer, you’ll receive and respond to referrals and enquiries, complete needs assessments, carry out risk assessments, and navigate Members to appropriate internal or external support. This may involve responding to distressing and traumatic situations, including domestic abuse, suicidal ideation, addiction, and other complex issues. You will also be expected to attend (online) multi-agency meetings.
This role requires emotional resilience, sound judgment, and exceptional communication skills. You will need to work flexibly, including some evenings and occasional weekends, and travel to a limited number of face-to-face events and meetings throughout the year. Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee the strategic delivery of Care4Calais’ operational (direct aid provision) work across all regions. About the role
We are seeking a technically capable, qualified accountant with strong knowledge of the Charities SORP to provide effective stewardship and oversight of the Finance function at Kinship. You will be responsible for financial controls, management accounting and ensuring the effective delivery of ‘business as usual’ financial management.
As well as producing monthly management accounts, you will be responsible for running the annual budget and the year-end processes, preparing for the yearly external audit and ensuring that the organisation complies with statutory obligations.
You will prepare papers for and attend the quarterly Finance Committee meetings and will liaise with a range of stakeholders including auditors, the bank and investment managers. You will be the ‘go to’ business partner at the charity, supported by the Chief Operating Officer and Fractional Chief Financial Officer.
You will manage a team of two colleagues – a Senior Finance Officer and a Payroll Manager – providing them with guidance, coaching and support to enable them to perform effectively. You will also collaborate and work with Directors and senior managers across the organisation to inform them on performance against budget and conditions of funding, as well as supporting fundraising and commissioning bids.
You will have excellent communication skills and will be able to organise conflicting priorities around the monthly management accounts cycle, while supporting the achievement of our strategic objectives. You will be flexible and adaptable in your approach to supporting transformational change in our processes and systems, as well as dealing with, and leading on, the day-to-day financial management.

Essential requirements include:
- Fully qualified ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent

We are looking for a strategic, self-motivated and entrepreneurial Deputy Director to support the long-term success and sustainability of Nottingham Contemporary. The Deputy Director works closely with the Director, Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board to deliver the strategic direction, business planning and lead the operational management of the organisation.
The Deputy Director is responsible for the effective internal operation of the organisation, embracing its administrative, facilities, financial, personnel, IT and legal functions as well as its income generation growth strategy. The post holder has executive responsibility for the development and delivery of all aspects of the Business Plan and Arts Council England’s National Portfolio funding agreement, monitoring all Key Performance Indicators. The Deputy Director works with the Director and SLT to shape a sustainable future for the Gallery, maximise income generation and reduce environmental impact.
The role
Your main accountabilities will include:
- Develop operational policies, procedures and documentation, including risk management, ensuring they are up to date and reflect the organisation’s values and align with the Arts Council’s Investment Principles.
- Lead the organisation’s business plan alongside the Director and with support from the SLT, ensuring this is in line with the organisation’s vision, offer, purpose and values.
- Manage the preparation and submission of annual applications to key public sector funders, including Arts Council England, Nottingham City Council and HE partners by providing relevant departmental data and information.
- Lead responsibility for all aspects of financial management and administration of the organisation, including related regulatory reporting.
- In liaison with the Director and SLT, set and manage annual and multi-year budgets and resources, providing suitable reporting on a regular basis to the Director, budget holders and Trustees.
- Ensure that legal responsibilities of Nottingham Contemporary are met including charity, company and health and safety, liaising with solicitors as required.
- Ensure the efficient maintenance and excellent presentation of the building.
- Spearhead income generation strategies in the business plan with support from the Director and Senior Development Manager to diversify and increase the gallery’s revenue streams.
- Oversee the promotion and communication of Nottingham Contemporary’s artistic and educational programmes and commercial activities across all platforms, including print, press, digital and social media.
- Develop and manage key local and regional partnerships, and working relationships with regional and national tourism organisations.

Building Partnerships

This will involve identifying and engaging partners in geographical ‘cold spots’ for the network (utilising our mapping tool developed with UCL), as well as forming partnerships to unlock new or under-represented types of Warm Welcome Spaces (e.g. Housing Association Community Spaces, cinemas, community spaces created by new housing developments etc).
● Leading the development of our Local Co-ordinators Cluster which brings together Local Authorities and others who are leading place-based networks of community spaces.
● Overseeing and developing the Champions Programme, providing more intensive support and connections to a smaller cohort of Warm Welcome Spaces.
Engagement and Inclusion
● Developing our Inclusion Strategy to identify and engage the best potential partners to diversify our Coalition and support local Spaces to become more accessible and inclusive.
● Working with the team to develop regular engagement activities for Warm Welcome Partners.
● Producing compelling communications (written and verbal) to promote the work of the Warm Welcome Campaign and grow the depth and breadth of partnerships - to include but not limited to partnership proposals, pitches and reports.
