We’re looking for a Finance Officer to join our close-knit finance team. You will work closely with the Financial Controller on the charity’s accounting, financial reporting and budgeting processes. This is an exciting role - you’ll be working on reports for some of the charity’s key stakeholders, from the staff who lead our centres through to members of the Senior Management Team and external funders.

Experience of finance is not a prerequisite – rather, we are looking for skills, aptitude and potential. However, you must be able to demonstrate a high level of numeracy, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is important.

You will be fully supported with a thorough in-house training programme, and we’ll also provide you with assistance to complete the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting, with the opportunity to then progress to the full CIMA qualification.

We are looking for an experienced senior consultant to provide interim strategic support and continuity to our PQD team during a transitional period whilst we recruit for a permanent Head of PQD. 

This is an interim consultancy role focused on delivering key outcomes, offering expert guidance, and ensuring ongoing progress against departmental priorities. The Finance & Administrative Officer role offers the opportunity to join a young and growing registered charity at an exciting point in its evolution, and to help lead on establishing Crystal Palace Park as an exemplar in urban park management, community-led regeneration and cultural and heritage programming whilst restoring its position as one of the UK’s leading visitor attractions.

We are seeking candidates who have experience working in a finance function and have skills in office management and administration including data processing. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance and Corporate Services, the role provides support in bookkeeping, credit control (inputting of sales and purchases invoices), health and safety and smooth running of the office (ranging from ensuring there is milk in the fridge to ordering stationery as well as IT requirements). Community Fundraising Manager

You will be responsible for driving our strategy for Community Fundraising, Individual/Regular Giving and Events. With a database of around 100,000 registrants and 15,000 members, these existing income streams have lots of great potential. Purpose of the role

• Grow a successful existing income stream (Fundraising Events and Regular Giving) and develop and grow a comparatively new income stream (Community Fundraising and Individual Giving) for Twins Trust. The postholder will work in collaboration with other health trade unions across the region.

Foothold Communications Officer

 Salary: £18k (£30k per annum pro rata)

We’re looking for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in their work to join our flexible, remotely-based team as our new Communications Officer.

Hearing the challenges that the individuals we support are facing keeps us focused. As Communications Officer, you’ll play a key role in communicating the support our charity offers the engineering community, while also engaging our supporters by bringing our community’s stories to life.

We’re redefining relationships with long-standing communications partners, building new relationships, and building our presence across new platforms and communities.

As Communications Officer, you'll be pivotal in making sure our voice is heard through regular communications, and delivering our impact report and annual report.

We find creative ways of working as a team and look to showcase the individual talents and personalities that people bring to their role. At Foothold, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase and develop your skills across digital design, video and copy.

We encourage our team to be all-rounders, and you’ll be working closely and collaboratively with our Communications and Digital Events Officer, Digital Marketing Officer and fundraising colleagues to produce regular, engaging content.

Digital Fundraising Officer

Salary: £35,000 per annum 40 hours per week

We are looking for a creative, data-driven and results orientated Digital Fundraising Officer to help us grow our income and supporter base through engaging and innovative digital campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate fundraising team, playing a vital role in delivering digital-first fundraising activity and supporter engagement across multiple digital channels. The successful candidate will work closely with fundraising, communications and digital teams. They will also work closely with the Fundraising Digital Marketing Lead to support with planning, implementing, optimising and reporting on World Horse Welfare’s digital fundraising and marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering successful digital campaigns within a fundraising or non-profit context, with strong skills in delivering and optimising paid social campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta and TikTok. They should be proficient in using tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Looker Studio and SEO platforms. The candidate must be highly organised, proactive, data-driven, a good collaborator, with the ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced working environment. The ideal candidate will also enjoy the creative side of digital fundraising, with a passion for creating compelling content for the various digital campaigns.

This position is based remotely, although you will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation. You must be a resident of the United Kingdom with all the necessary legislative ‘right to work’ documentation.

About you

We seek a qualified solicitor or barrister who shares our mission to end in-work poverty by helping vulnerable workers find justice, and who has: 

• Two years of practising experience in the UK, with some experience in employment law;

• Experience of working in a legal team

• Excellent analytical skills with ability to conduct legal research

• Excellent case management skills

• Excellent client management skills

• Knowledge of, and empathy with, the backgrounds and experiences of migrants and other vulnerable workers.
