We are seeking an employment law adviser to fill the post of National Officer Employment Law. As a professionally qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2 years post-qualified experience you will lead our legal team and provide professional legal advice on employment law matters. The National Officer Employment Law role is pivotal in supporting our Senior Management Team, staff, and members, ensuring that our legal services are effective and aligned with the union's objectives of building union power.

Successful candidates for the National Officer Employment Law will be able to demonstrate:

The main duties of the National Officer Employment Law role include:

Main duties and responsibilities

1.Key areas

• Conduct legal research into past cases and documents
• Draft and prepare claims or other legal documents
• Provide legal advice to SMT, NEC, members
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of PCS members
• Keep up to date with new developments in employment legislation
• Provide employment law briefings to PCS staff about changes in employment legislation
• Advise members and Reps on wrongful termination and unfair dismissal claims, including reviewing dismissal procedures and advocating for members' rights
• Assist members and reps in cases of workplace discrimination, harassment, or retaliation based on factors such as age, gender, race, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Contribute to the development of the Unions policy objectives including the PCS planning process
• Provide leadership in delivering the unions Legal and Employment Rights strategy
• Provide support and have direct involvement through the National Management Team (NMT) in the unions bargaining, organising, campaigning, equality, learning and digital agendas
• Manage people and resources in the Legal and Employment Rights Unit
• Provide advice to relevant committees including the preparation and presentation of reports
• Monitor and report on issues and initiatives as requested
• Provide input into budgetary processes including bid preparation, monitoring and control where relevant

2.People Management

• Manage work allocation and workflow, future planning and support for officer team/line manager
• Motivate and manage individuals and the team as a whole to provide a high standard of service

This programme of work, based in Southwark, works among Latin American (Spanish and Portuguese-speaking) communities. The work is aimed at increasing awareness, uptake and understanding of HIV & sexual health testing, condom usage, PrEP uptake, and HIV treatment adherence alongside improving people's general health and wellbeing. The work is sessional and ad hoc, but hours will be between 5-15 hours per month. Shifts will be offered on a rota basis, Monday - Friday, with the possibility of evening and weekend working. ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an Apprenticeship and Learner Management System Administrator to join the apprenticeship provision within the Harris Federation Central Team.

You will play a vital role in supporting the delivery and growth of our apprenticeship programmes. You’ll manage and maintain our Learning Management System, ensure accurate learner data, and provide essential support to both learners and stakeholders - helping to drive talent development and learning across our network of academies.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting to the Apprenticeship Manager you will be responsible for: 

Learner Management System (LMS) 

• Maintaining apprenticeship records, including the Apprenticeship Tracking system, producing reports to monitor enrolment, completion rates, and the usage of the apprenticeship Levy 
• Act as the primary administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting on a daily basis
• Managing and actively updating EOSONE learning platform to ensure all the learner portfolios are up to date and are accurate including off the job learning
• Supporting with the on boarding of learners on the Harris Federation main provider provision and the completion of relevant enrolment documentation, procedures, and guidance

Job Title: Arts and Learning Strategic Lead

Location: Based at our head office in Islington, London (10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station) with cross working in various prisons across England, Community sites, and home working

Salary: £47,000 (Full time equivalent)

Shift Pattern: 22.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00 with some flexibility. You may be required to work outside these hours as per service requirements.

About the role

This is a brand new role, supporting the Head of Safe Ground with the strategic oversight and delivery of our programmes. Safe Ground has been at the forefront of designing and delivering innovative arts-based, therapeutically informed interventions within the criminal justice system and in communities across the UK. As we approach our 30th anniversary this year, we remain dedicated to challenging systematic injustice through the programmes we run and the partnerships we build. This role is a great opportunity to be part of our transformative goals, in being part of creating systematic change.

Using theatre arts, and culture, we design initiatives to support those impacted by the criminal justice system in gaining deeper insights into themselves, their relationships and their behaviours. We do this by equipping our participants with practical tools and building a community who are open to doing things differently. In this role, you will develop best practice around creative interventions, building powerful partnerships with commissioners, partners, and other key stakeholders, ensuring our programmes are being delivered to the highest standards. You will lead on the development of new and existing arts-based work, identifying gaps and opportunities for growth within the sector.

• Oversee the development of new creative ideas and programmes as well as programme adaptations and redesigns. Ideas could be linked to theatre productions in and out of custodial settings, short films, live events, symposiums, but may also include new art forms and working with new artists
• Development of a local / national facilitator network
• Create and deliver engaging high-quality programmes which support rehabilitation and reintegration for participants
• Design and deliver innovation arts-based high quality training and quality assurance support to management and delivery teams across the SIG network - focusing specifically on relationships, culture and communication, conflict resolution, storytelling, power-sharing and co-production
• Lead on the development of creative ideas for Safe Grounds 30th anniversary, including; relationship building and partnership development, advocacy and networking, idea development - radio / stage / film etc
• Provide high quality peer-mentoring spaces, leadership, and line management to staff, offering guidance, support, and advice to the team to support them to perform to the best of their abilities. About you

We are looking for someone who is ambitious and passionate about supporting people who have experienced multiple disadvantages and social exclusion. You will have proven experience in arts development and strategic support, with an extensive understanding of the criminal justice system and the role in which arts-based interventions play. You will be creative, empowering, and be a dedicated lead in supporting our strategic growth. You will understand arts-based interventions and methodologies, and have experience in developing and delivering creative programmes and productions.

• Previous experience in working and engaging with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours
• Previous experience in developing, producing, and/or performing professional productions for example film, television, or theatre productions
• Proven experience in designing innovative arts-based programmes and extensive experience of facilitation of programmes and/or training for various groups
• A theoretical understanding of co-production models and practical application of building them and embedding them into best practice
• Previous experience and/or ability to people manage and develop a team
• Ability to create, develop, and deliver new programmes and/or creative content in various settings such as prisons, communities, and wider criminal justice settings

Key Responsibilities  

Digital Acquisition and Fundraising 

• Develop and implement acquisition campaigns and activity to attract new supporters through social platforms, both paid and unpaid, search engine advertising, and email marketing. As well as novel and innovative platforms and opportunities as identified.

• Analyse metrics and data, reporting on KPI’s, budget and spend, and work to constantly test and optimise campaigns to exceed targets and improve return on advertisement spend / return on investment.

• Ensure regular monitoring of performance across all activities and make necessary adjustments to maximise net income opportunities.

• Analyse and share the results of campaign activity. 

• Support forecasting and budget planning on Digital marketing activities within the IG budget.

• Develop and execute digital campaigns, including where the ultimate conversion is via traditional channels such as telephone or mail, taking an integrated approach, to acquire and convert new supporters. 

• Create and optimise content and digital journeys to maximise conversions and build loyalty. This will include elements of creative fundraising writing, concepting and messaging development, and some visual design development.

• Generate and utilise insight within digital campaigns to improve results.

• Support the organisation in developing the website to be optimised for fundraising, make recommendations to improve performance, optimise content and landing pages, recommend and make the most of on-site technologies and plugins that can help drive our performance. 

• Stay abreast of emerging digital trends and technologies, ensuring our online fundraising efforts remain innovative and effective. 

Stewardship and Supporter Experience 

• Maintain a good level of understanding of our supporters' behaviours and motivations to create and implement stewardship content and journeys, feedback and respond to queries and enquiries relevant to IG activity.

• Work with the team to ensure all supporters are thanked and updated in an appropriate and timely manner and all interactions and activities are in line with our supporter promise. 

• Ensure supporter journeys are segmented and personalised wherever possible.

• Cultivate deeper engagement with supporters beyond transactional interactions, exploring opportunities for meaningful dialogue, feedback mechanisms, and a sense of community. 

• Develop and deliver personalised relationship-building communications and initiatives that recognise supporter loyalty and deepen their connection to the impact of their support. 

• Work with the wider PCR team to maximise opportunities for fundraising and patient impact including via cross selling with different audiences.

• Develop engaging supporter communications and assets for all channels, for example email headers, landing pages, social ads – which drive action and deepen engagement with the cause.

Collaboration and Development  

• Work with Agile principles in mind, together with the IG Team and collaborating colleagues across the organisation, to plan and deliver high quality work.

• Build key relationships across teams within and outside Public Fundraising to achieve successful fundraising outcomes, improving both supporter & patient perceptions of PCR.

• As required, represent PCR externally, promoting our work and building long-term relationships with stakeholders and supporters. 

• Build strong relationships with partners, freelancers and consultants, agencies, and suppliers as needed to support the delivery of individual giving activity.

• Maintain curiosity and a desire for learning and professional development, be responsible for developing your skillset and knowledge to improve in the role and further PCR’s mission.

Database and Compliance 

• Hold a good working knowledge of key aspects of data protection law including GDPR and PECR, and the Fundraising Code of Practice.

• Work with our tools and seek to improve knowledge and use of these, including but not limited to Access CRM, Fundraise Up, Google Analytics 4 (G4A) and MailChimp.

• Adhere to all PCR policies and abide by the code of conduct and other related guidance in the PCR Staff Handbook. 

Skills and Competencies 

Our ideal candidate would have the following: 

• Proven experience in digital acquisition for charity or social cause, or in paid digital marketing or advertising in commercial roles. With demonstrable campaign management experience and expertise setting up and managing campaigns in Meta business suite, Google paid advertising and email marketing.

• Evidence of leading successful digital / integrated digital campaigns leading to significant sales/income/lead generation. 

• The ability to motivate and inspire audiences through content and creative writing and storytelling for digital channels. 

• The ability to monitor and manage income and expenditure against targets as well as forecast and report on digital campaigns across all channels. 

• Knowledge and experience of trends and dynamics in digital fundraising (ideally), including audience identification and optimisation strategies including with new technologies like AI tools. 

• Experience and a track record of working on landing page optimisation and on-site conversion funnel improvements.

• A good understanding of individual giving best practices, trends, and regulatory requirements.

• Experience moderating digital campaigns or working with others to do so (knowledge of issues and best practice) and providing excellent supporter/customer support as needed.

• A strong desire to provide excellent supporter experience and customer journeys to everyone who encounters our campaigns and communications or who gets in touch with us directly.

• A collaborative and innovative mindset with a desire to test, learn and work with stakeholders cross-functionally including internal stakeholders and external consultants or agencies, to develop new activities and campaigns, and achieve strategic goals. 

• A good communicator and team player, with a willingness to pitch in and support the goals of the team and wider organisation as a whole.

• Experience working within Agile project management would be beneficial. 

• Experience collecting content from patients, beneficiaries, or key subject matter experts in the form of written interviews, photos and/or video, and developing this into marketing assets would be desirable. 

• A strong belief in the work we do at PCR, and a demonstrable desire to improve outcomes for patients through our work in fundraising. 

• Good knowledge of WordPress website optimisation and plugins or strong desire to learn.

This will involve working with senior managers for bids on their services and conducting both internal and sector research into VAWG, health and social care, advocacy and advice. Role Summary

An exciting opportunity to join Into Film and lead on the production of all audio-visual content for the UK’s foremost film education charity. Overseeing an in-house production team of six, the Production Lead will work closely with colleagues from across the organisation to identify, develop and deliver an exciting and wide range of content for classroom resources, social media channels and the Into Film website.

The role is initially available for a fixed term through to 31st March 2026, but may become permanent pending continuation of funding.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Joint Heads of Programme and Head of Marcomms to identify audio visual requirements in support of the Into Film strategy, including income generation. 
• Lead on planning and allocation of work for a team of six, supporting on and leading projects as required.
• Oversee departmental production budget, and budget from commissioning departments, ensuring that expenditure is planned, tracked and evaluated. 
• Plan for and manage freelancers in support of production activity as required.

The National Lottery Community Fund is recruiting for a Stakeholder Engagement Manager, a key role in our External Affairs Team sat within our newly formed Communications Directorate.  

This role is part of our ambitious transformation as we implement a significant pivot in our communications approach – building on our support for grant-making to demonstrate the powerful impact communities have in strengthening society and improving lives.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape our stakeholder engagement during a time of exciting change. You will position the Fund as a convening force in civil society, advancing community priorities through evidence-based advocacy that demonstrates how our funding strengthens communities.

Using your insight into the sector, you will work with colleagues to map and manage priority stakeholder relationships relevant to our missions and the impact of our funding. You will develop targeted engagement strategies to strengthen and diversify our stakeholders, delivering key activities including communications, events, briefings and meetings to support the development of these relationships.

Working with colleagues across communications and funding teams, you will identify and act upon opportunities to demonstrate the impact of our funding on communities and how it aligns with relevant and influential stakeholders and organisations. You will have strong project management experience, with a robust approach to tracking relationships and managing stakeholder data, ideally through the use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong communications and engagement background, as well as experience in working with senior level stakeholders. Ideally you will have had exposure to the voluntary, community and social enterprise sectors. • Map and prioritise the Fund's stakeholder framework, identifying key influencers and decision-makers across sectors, ensuring an effective cadence of engagement (making it clear who are we talking to, when and why)

Emmaus is a secular organisation supporting homeless and socially excluded people by providing a home for as long as it is needed, meaningful work experience in a social enterprise and a sense of belonging and community. There are currently 29 Emmaus communities in the UK stretching from Glasgow to Dover and Norfolk to South Wales, collectively supporting more than 850 people. There are also 3 Emmaus groups working towards the development of services in their areas. About the role

A key role in the Emmaus UK fundraising team, the Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a portfolio of corporate relationships that will support Emmaus’s continued growth across the UK. Our partnerships are multi-faceted, combining financial support with pro bono skill sharing, gift in kind support and volunteering opportunities to deliver genuine impact across the Emmaus federation.

Who are we looking for?

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will line manage the Partnerships Fundraising Officer, working together with them to deliver engaging activation opportunities for partner organisations.

Working within the Fundraising and Influence directorate, reporting to the High Value Partnerships Lead, the role will be central to the delivery of the strategic objectives of the fundraising team. By working collaboratively with an experienced, passionate team of fundraisers, you will develop innovative opportunities to bring supporters closer to our work, resulting in engaged, lasting partnerships that deliver the income we need to meet the consistently high demand for all of our services.

What we offer

· £38,950 per annum

About the Role

The Assistant Reserves Officer is one of our team managing and developing the Trust’s nature reserves for people and wildlife.  Your work place includes internationally recognised wetlands and woodlands along with nationally important meadows, chalk grasslands and heathland across Hertfordshire and Middlesex.

You will need to have strong experience in practical habitat management, including the use of power tools and machinery, such as chainsaws, brush cutters and BCS mowers. You will have experience of working within a dynamic team and leading volunteers. You will need to have a keen interest in wildlife and preferably a knowledge of the habitats in our area.

No two days are the same as an ARO at HMWT; you will get the opportunity to utilise and develop your practical habitat management skills across our nature reserves including tree felling, coppicing, scrub clearance, hay cutting and pond/ditch management. You will also undertake the maintenance of site infrastructure; assist with the management of livestock; and perform surveying and monitoring of habitat/species, tree safety and infrastructure. These tasks will be delivered working closely with members of the nature reserves team; our volunteer wardens and our practical conservation volunteers.

Willingness to travel throughout our work area and flexibility to work occasional irregular hours is required for this post.
