We are looking for an exceptional Grants Commissioning Manager (Scotland), with a focus on Faslane. This is a senior management role working as part of the Grants team within the RNRMC at a time when the Charity’s strategy has a real focus on beneficiary need and impact, managing RNRMC commissioned grants in Scotland, ensuring that the funds are awarded in accordance with the Charities Values and Outcomes Framework.
The role will work strategically with The Director of Relationships and Funding to support and deliver the charities funding plans for Scotland and support the Head of Commissioned Grants with all elements of the commissioning cycle including understanding need, designing projects, performance management of delivery and reporting of impact. Working with internal and external stakeholders, the role will involve the oversight and good governance of grants programmes to ensure quality, evidenced outputs, and value for money of projects.
In addition, you will lead and manage the Grants Administrator (Scotland, taking responsibility for actively and proactively supporting them to achieve in their post.

Experience and Background

In addition, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, be diplomatic and approachable with a strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
You will be a confident manager able to adapt to a changing environment with strong problem-solving skills and excellent judgement alongside a meticulous, accurate and disciplined approach to work. You will also possess good organisational skills and be able to prioritise a varied and busy workload and deliver to deadlines. You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic, be able to think strategically to resolve problems and make recommendations and present options for approval.

Role Overview

Responsibilities
As the Director of Children's Care and Wellbeing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic objectives for children's health and care services. You will ensure children and young people are safeguarded through robust child protection processes and management systems.
Skills & Abilities
To excel in this role, you must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team. Strong strategic planning, organization, and change management skills are essential, along with excellent financial management skills and business planning abilities. Your leadership style should be approachable, fair, and decisive, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
You should have experience as a Registered Manager or Responsible Individual, with in-depth knowledge of Ofsted Residential Children’s Home guidance. Experience of leading an Ofsted inspection is also crucial for this role.

With the ultimate objective being to grow SSAFA’s presence, profile, and identity, the role is responsible for all marcomms activation in the region. The role holder will work to deliver the central Fundraising, Marketing & Communications strategy.
This role reports to the Head of Communications with close alignment with colleagues across the marcomms directorate. The marcomms manager will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns in the North Region of England and promoting SSAFA’s fundraising initiatives and services. You’ll identify the areas of greatest impact and cut through, deliver integrated awareness campaigns and secure media coverage of fundraising events. Role Purpose

About the role
You will ensure we deliver high quality legal services and manage our Legal Aid Contract, with your main focus being to manage and supervise the legal teams who are advocating for clients with housing issues, as well as bringing about systemic change. About you
You will be experienced in working under a housing legal aid contract, court advocacy, carrying your own caseload as well as managing and supervising others. You will have a minimum of 4 years post qualification legal practice experience, have supervisor status and have substantial knowledge of housing and homelessness law. Independent File Reviews, time recording and good case management will also be part of the role. You are able to carry out research and policy analysis in the areas of housing, homeless and welfare law, produce reports and presentations.

For a large international organisation, we are recruiting an Interim Group FP&A Manager who will coordinate and produce consolidated financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. - Support the Director of Group Planning and Reporting in preparing reports for Exec on reporting and planning deliverables
- Lead continuous improvement of processes across monthly close, financial commentary and analysis and cash-flow forecasting

Position: 1934 Major Gifts Manager
Location: This role is nominally based at our site based in Sidmouth, Devon – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – and we offer hybrid working. We are keen to make the role work for you, and will consider fully remote/home working and flexible working patterns, where required.
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 08.30-16.30, Monday-Friday
Salary: £40,000 per annum

About the Role
As Major Gifts Manager, you will provide expertise in Major Gifts, successfully developing the programme in line with agreed annual targets and our Fundraising Strategy. You will work closely with the Head of Major Gifts to evolve and continuously improve the major gift activity, bringing an integrated approach across the charity to deliver the most donor-centric activity, whilst continuously evaluating performance.
Your principal duties and responsibilities will include:
• Inputting into and delivering the Major Gifts Strategy and improving the Major Gift portfolio and performance.
• Delivering and reporting on agreed projects, fundraising targets and KPIs.
• Proactively identifying and delivering new fundraising donors and income growth opportunities within Major Gifts.
• Leading on selected donor cultivation and stewardship projects to support sustainable income growth in Major Gifts, including events and other opportunities;
• Personally securing, managing and stewarding a portfolio of active Mid-Value, Major Donors and Charitable Trusts, forging and maintaining strong and enduring relationships.
• Supporting and growing the Major Gifts cultivation programme and pipeline to grow funders’ understanding of the diversity of the charity’s work.
• Being agile to changing market conditions and trends and working with the Head of Major Gifts to relay this into cultivation and stewardship.
About You
With experience of managing, cultivating, and delivering major gifts, and of planning future major gifts pipeline, you will have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding personal fundraising targets.
You will also have:
• A demonstrable record of building excellent stewardship and successful relationships with supporters at all levels including high net worth supporters, charitable trusts and other major donors.
• Well-developed knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and interpretation of programme performance.
• Demonstrable experience of project budget management/reporting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• The ability to multi-task and work with several conflicting demands and timescales.

The Role

Job Purpose:
