Two Rhythms is seeking a dynamic Business Manager to spearhead their operational and financial success, ensuring the charity's sustainability and growth. This pivotal role involves driving earned income, managing financial health, and expanding the reach of their therapeutic arts programs across South Wales and the UK.
The Business Manager will oversee the operational and financial management of the charity, ensuring the organisation is efficient, sustainable, and aligned with its mission. They will focus on earned income generation and working to increase it in line with the business plan. They will be outward-facing, generating new business with local authorities, care providers, schools, hospitals and hospices. They will work closely with the CEO, and Head of Programme to introduce the 2R programme to new guests across South Wales, and with the Membership Officer to extend our membership programme across the UK.
The Business Manager will play a crucial role in managing the charity's financial health, ensuring resources are effectively utilised to support its mission and goals. This hands-on role involves overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance while supporting their leadership team colleagues with financial insights and strategies.
They will prepare reports for the management team, CEO and Trustees as required and they will liaise with our external accountants, helping to prepare annual accounts and other statutory documents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
OPERATIONAL
1. Business and Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across departments.
- Design and implement new processes to monitor trading performance.
- To act a responsible point of contact for managing day-to-day facilities and building issues.
- Management of external contracts relating to facilities and running of the organisation.
- Review environmental considerations of the organisation in-line with the requirements and policies of our funders, landlords and partner organisations.
- Support the administration of session bookings, liaising with finance and management colleagues.
2. Compliance and Governance:
- Working as part of the charity’s Safeguarding team helping to ensure best practice across the charity’s activities and operations. (Appropriate training will be provided)
- Ensure the charity complies with relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Manage risk and protect the charity’s financial reputation and assets.
- Maintain accurate records and policies, working closely with trustees or board members.
FINANCE
3. Financial Management and Planning:
- Prepare and manage budgets in collaboration with the leadership team.
- Monitor and control income and expenditure to ensure financial sustainability.
- Develop financial forecasts and plans to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage invoicing, liaising with external clients and contractors with respect to debt management, reviewing and improving booking processes where necessary.
4. Accounting and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate financial records and oversee day-to-day bookkeeping.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis.
- Produce annual financial statements and manage the year-end accounting process.
5. Donor and Grant Management:
- Track restricted and unrestricted funding, ensuring proper allocation and reporting.
- Provide financial reports and updates for donors and grant applications.
PEOPLE
6. Supporting Stakeholders:
- Work closely with trustees and the senior leadership team, providing clear insights.
- Contribute to the charity's overall strategic planning and growth.
- Attend board meetings, ensuring accurate minutes and record keeping.
7. Leadership and Team Support:
- Work closely with Senior Management colleagues to provide strategic advice and insights.
- Manage and support staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Lead by example, promoting the charity’s values and mission in all actions.
COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY
- Work with the team to drive sales, pursue new clients and increase the charity’s earned income, collaborating with Programme, Membership and Marketing colleagues and the CEO to further the charity’s work.
- Lead on our engagement with the health and social care sector, including private and public organisations.
- Assist the CEO in submitting reports to funders, regulatory bodies, and trustees.
- Support the development of funding proposals with accurate financial input.
- Assist the CEO in building relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including corporate and commercial clients.

This programme of work, based in Southwark, works among Latin American (Spanish and Portuguese-speaking) communities. The work is aimed at increasing awareness, uptake and understanding of HIV & sexual health testing, condom usage, PrEP uptake, and HIV treatment adherence alongside improving people's general health and wellbeing. The work is sessional and ad hoc, but hours will be between 5-15 hours per month. Shifts will be offered on a rota basis, Monday - Friday, with the possibility of evening and weekend working. About the role:
The Social Care IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy, and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process, specialising in working with women whose families are involved with Family Children Services and risk to children is a factor. You will work to make proactive contact and provide high quality advocacy and support based upon a client led needs and risk assessment to women, focusing on working with those aged 18 and over who access the domestic abuse service. This role is part advocacy, part training/education and project work to improve response to victim/survivors experiencing domestic abuse. You will be embedded in the local authority Family Children Services team, working with Social Care professionals to ensure they adopt a trauma informed approach, can recognise the dynamics of domestic abuse and are providing more holistic support. You will be the domestic abuse subject matter expert on site, upskilling fellow professionals and acting as a point of contact for any clients experiencing domestic abuse and support requirements from Family Children Services.
The Social Care project was established in 2021 and has been working in partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Family Children Services, so the IDVAs will inherit strong working relationships and a commitment from all parties to offering more trauma-informed services. The borough has a focus on prioritising and developing good DA work in social care and this is an opportunity to be a major player in institutional change, ensuring that women accessing Family Children services for their children have an improved experience and that the local authorities are leading the way for all survivors engaging with their services.
Advance delivers nationally accredited, quality marked services in Hammersmith & Fulham, Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, Brent, Ealing, and across parts of East London. We work within a coordinated partnership response to domestic violence to provide independent domestic violence advocacy and support for women, children and young people and women’s community services for women who are involved in the criminal justice system, in anti-social behaviour or are at risk of breaking the law.
About You:
You will have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse in various areas of need, with particular knowledge on children safeguarding/legislation. As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, the post holder will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis. Experience of direct work with female survivors of domestic violence, of supporting women with child safeguarding, needs, and of working within safeguarding procedures is essential for this post, as is the need to adopt and promote a strong partnership approach to service provision.
To be successful as the Social Care IDVA you will need the below experience and skills:
- You will establish positive, proactive, and innovative working relationships with housing services and partner agencies.Provide high-quality crisis intervention, information, advocacy, and proactive support to women referred to the service, in respect to risk management and safety planning, criminal and civil remedies, housing, health, welfare rights, and children’s legislation.
- Your abilities extend to assessing the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support and identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs.Advising women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies and proactively advocate to ensure barriers to accessing support and protection are reduced. You will work as an advocate and educator to raise awareness and upskill professionals within Children Social Care plus work with colleagues to successfully develop and deliver training.

The post holder will hold a caseload of survivors and will also be required to support Advance’s duty team on a rota basis which will involve completing intake assessments and providing crisis intervention support.

Spring Community Hub exists to ensure that no one in our Southwark community goes hungry. But we don’t just provide food:
We work alongside people to help them escape poverty, build confidence, and find community.
Our principal activity is the prevention of food poverty and food insecurity by offering culturally appropriate food, fresh fruits, and
vegetables as well as dietary and religiously appropriate food which we have continued to run at our five-week sessions to local people for as long as they address the underlying cause.
We also provide a range of wraparound support, including advice services, particularly around employment and immigration through our Back2Work Team, Holiday Clubs for Children, Youth Groups, a Clothing Bank and our Spring Up Women’s group.

Main Purposes of Job and Key Tasks
We are seeking a highly organised and quick-witted Operations Officer to join our dynamic team at Spring Community Hub. The ideal candidate will have experience in operations or project management and excel at managing multiple priorities simultaneously. This role is crucial in supporting the day-to-day operations of the organisation and ensuring smooth workflows across various departments.
In addition to their primary operations duties, the Operations Officer will also play a key role in recruiting and managing volunteers, organising events, and assisting with fundraising activities. The Operations Officer will support impact, monitoring, and evaluation tasks to help demonstrate the effectiveness of our programs to funders and stakeholders.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced candidate, preferably from a project delivery or impact measurement and evaluation background.
Primary duties include:

Reports to: Bereavement Services Manager for England

Context of Role
Our client supports anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. They provide immediate casework support, as well as ongoing services including counselling, complementary therapies, play therapy, coffee mornings, support events and a respite cottage.
As they continue to expand their services across England the successful candidate will play a central role in the ongoing development of their relationships with stakeholders. Initiative and drive play an integral part of ensuring their professional stakeholders remain engaged and champion their service to those they support. The post holder will provide immediate and ongoing emotional and practical support to families, friends, witnesses and professionals affected by the sudden death of a child or young adult.
Main Duties include:
- To initiate immediate support for a caseload of families whose children and young people aged 0-25 have died suddenly and unexpectedly across the county you reside in and bordering counties.
- Complete an initial assessment of families' needs to identify and plan the support as required in line with safeguarding and risk reduction.
- Offer emotional support and advice to a case load of families through home visits and ongoing weekly telephone calls.
- To liaise with the Counselling Support and Outreach Coordinator, who is responsible for organising formal support such as counselling, complementary therapy or play therapy, subject to consent from the bereaved individual.
- To work with hospital staff, GP’s, police officers, coroner offices, mental health teams and other healthcare professionals to raise awareness of and promote referrals into the charity from the county you reside in and bordering counties.
- To deliver awareness training in hospitals and other healthcare settings, schools and workplaces on the use of the bereavement boxes, the services they offer, how to refer into the charity and bereavement awareness.
- To ensure families have been offered a memory box and coordinate these when required.
- Facilitate debriefs within professional settings following a traumatic or sudden death of a child or young person.
- To work with hospital trusts to establish and maintain the upkeep of suitable bereavement suites for bereaved individuals to use as required.

About the Role
This is a dual-role position supporting both the Finance and HR functions of the charity. Flexibility
Our staff who live in or near London operate on a hybrid model, working in our office within South Bank University (one minute from Elephant and Castle tube station) on Mondays and Tuesdays. Full-time staff work in the office both those days and at home the rest of the week, while part-time staff who live in or near London are required to work in the office on one of those days, and at home for the rest of the week. We also have staff outside London who are fully home-based. They are seeking a Corporate Partnerships Manager with a strong background in business development, commercial partnerships, and or corporate fundraising-someone confident in making the ask, pitching at a senior level, and building meaningful, mutually beneficial relationships.
About the Role
You will lead the development of new business opportunities and maximise existing partnerships to raise vital funds and awareness for the RAF Association's mission. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships and Events, you'll also work closely with the Events Manager to create compelling engagement and networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and grow the corporate and major giving programme to meet and exceed income targets.
- Identify, pitch, and secure new partnerships across a wide range of industries.
- Develop tailored sponsorship and fundraising propositions that align with corporate partner goals.
- Build and maintain high-value relationships with businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver compelling impact reports and ensure excellent partner stewardship.
- Represent the RAF Association at key events and act as a senior ambassador of the charity.
About You:
We welcome candidates from both the charity and commercial sectors, especially those with a strong business development, client relationship management, or B2B sales background. A background in or understanding of the RAF/military/Defence sector would be ideal.
- Demonstrated success in securing and managing corporate partnerships or commercial clients.
- A confident communicator with experience creating and delivering high-impact pitches and proposals.
- Strategic and driven, with a track record of meeting income or sales targets.
- Excellent networking skills and an ability to open doors and build rapport at all levels.
- Strong project management and organisational abilities.
- Passionate about supporting the RAF community and driving social impact.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Following a significant inward investment, our client is positioning itself to embark on an ambitious nationwide scaling-up programme. The newly created Business Development Manager role can be based anywhere in the UK and carries the responsibility of contributing to the organisation’s overarching strategic plan, while also leading the development and implementation of the accompanying income generation strategy.
Role Profile:
- Lead and coordinate activities to position the charity for successful public sector contracts and tenders.
- Identify and pursue new and repeat business opportunities; attend market engagement events and monitor sector trends.
- Develop strategic partnerships to enhance reach and impact.
- Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date pipeline of business development and grant opportunities.
- Prepare and submit high-quality, competitive tenders as a lead or subcontractor.
- Develop proposals aligned with service specifications, incorporating input from operational teams.
- Collaborate with the CEO and Finance Director to ensure accurate, fully costed and competitive bid pricing.
- Write and submit persuasive bids via relevant online platforms.
- Line manage a Grant Writer, overseeing the submission of high-value and multi-year trust and foundation applications.
- Support the CEO in cultivating relationships with major donors and securing significant contributions.
- Manage public donations, lead fundraising initiatives, and ensure compliance with fundraising regulations.
- Produce compelling quarterly impact reports to communicate the charity’s outcomes to funders.
Person Specification:
- Demonstrated success in writing and securing competitive tenders, particularly within the criminal justice or related sectors.
- Proven ability to develop high-quality bids for statutory funding.
- Extensive experience in generating significant income from charitable trusts and foundations.
- Strong background in designing or contributing to effective income generation strategies.
- Experience in leveraging social value commitments—especially through government procurement and Section 106 obligations—is highly desirable.
- Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, network, and engage diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of the criminal justice system or related fields is a strong advantage.
- Awareness of the employment challenges faced by people with convictions is desirable.
