About the role

As our Business Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in sustaining and expanding the services that make a real difference to people severely affected by mental illness. You will bring significant experience in UK financial reporting (FRS 102), alongside proven experience developing high-performing teams and implementing effective policies, systems, and change initiatives. About the role

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.

This is an exciting time to be joining the charity! Working closely with the Finance & Resources Director, this newly created role will be a key member of UP’s Finance team, supporting the charity to successfully deliver the charity’s strategic plan. You will provide accurate financial information, robust accounting controls and support for budgeting and programme costing, helping the charity operate efficiently and sustainably.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in charity or not-for-profit finance, confident in accounting software (Xero) and with strong Excel skills. You will be highly organised, detail-focused, and able to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues.

This role represents a significant investment in that infrastructure. You will be joining a small but highly capable operations team and playing a central role in how FEA manages and understands its finances as it grows. The Management Accountant plays a central role in ensuring that the Fair Education Alliance’s finances are accurate, well managed and clearly understood across the organisation. Working as part of the operations team, the postholder maintains the financial systems and processes that underpin FEA’s work. Join us as a Reconnect Worker and help prevent youth homelessness by supporting young people and families experiencing conflict or crisis. You’ll deliver focused mediation and personalised family support across London—working with young people aged 11–25 in schools, emergency placements, and Depaul services to strengthen relationships, improve communication and reduce the risk of homelessness. Your work will be grounded in detailed assessments, collaborative support planning and strengths‑based interventions that help families rebuild stability and stay connected.

In this flexible, fast‑paced role, you’ll manage a small caseload, work independently across multiple locations and build strong partnerships with schools, local authorities, Nightstop hosts and colleagues across Depaul. You’ll maintain clear, accurate records, contribute to safeguarding processes and advocate for young people when needed. Your creativity, impartiality and ability to engage families in challenging moments will be key as you help define and strengthen Depaul’s national approach to family mediation and homelessness prevention.

• Provide focused family support and mediation to young people aged 11–25 and their families experiencing conflict or breakdown.

Fair4All Finance is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2019 to improve the financial wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances by increasing access to fair, affordable and appropriate financial products and services. Innovation and Development 

As we continue our exciting growth plans to deliver on our ambitious goals and refreshed strategy at Fair4All Finance, following additional funding from the Dormant Assets Scheme, we are seeking an Associate Director Commercial to join our Innovation and Development Team.

The role involves delivering a portfolio of work which includes completing, negotiating and managing innovative product pilots with commercial and mainstream financial providers, Fintech providers and not for profit community lenders; supporting programmes and transactions on our technology workstream; considering ad hoc strategic opportunities for market interventions and transformations.

Role Purpose:

Millions of people are unable to access the mainstream products and services that meet their financial needs and have to choose between going without essentials or turning to high-cost credit or illegal money lenders. Without safety nets like credit, insurance or savings, everyday life events or financial shocks can tip people into increasingly vulnerable circumstances.

One of Fair4All Finance’s key strategic priorities, and a focus of the Innovation and Development team, is to transform the market, to test and deliver the right products to all customers who need them including dramatically improving access to credit, insurance and resilience products by attracting new entrants, scaling existing providers and supporting mainstream providers to diversify their offerings.

A key part of our strategy is to test and scale product propositions, working in partnership with providers, and, where successful, to scale these propositions up for long term success. We do this by codesigning propositions that work for the customer, commercial arrangements that work for the provider, societal outcomes that deliver for the funders and stakeholders.

The Associate Director – Commercial will lead on the commercial lifecycle of proposition tests, meeting potential partners and developing a pipeline of opportunities through to procurement (where appropriate) or running a transparent competition via a subsidy scheme, bid assessment, contract negotiation with significant providers of lending, insurance and savings products. You will work with those providers to oversee the successful setup and delivery including building in how we measure the success of the pilot or proposition and evaluate the impact.

Also key to the role is liaising with the Head of Proposition, Design and Development to design end to end products that meet the needs of people in financially vulnerable circumstances. Strong collaboration with other members of the team is also essential to build the evidence base (economic, value for money and societal impact) which you will then build into business cases for long term funding for these propositions, or alternative financial support. You will work flexibly across our portfolio of partnerships and propositions as it develops.

You will also engage with the Investment team to:

• Establish appropriate commercial agreements, investment structures and legal vehicles to safeguard our funding.
• Make clear and evidenced recommendations to our Investment Committee on the case for investment into our product and service pilot propositions.

A rare opportunity to step into a fully established role with a full handover. We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our friendly and supportive team, ideally on the 1 June, for a 12 month (maternity cover) contract. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to attend our office at least one day a week. The role will focus on account and client relationship management, business development and content management.

About us

Having the right information at the right time can make a significant difference to carers and the people they look after. We believe that technology has a vital role to play in supporting carers and digital solutions can prove both cost effective and highly beneficial. That’s why we developed the Digital Resource for Carers, a service designed to give unpaid carers the support they need when they need it.

Delivered through subscribing organisations such as local authorities and other service providers, the Digital Resource for Carers platform is packed with carefully curated resources, e-learning modules, hands-on guides and tools to help carers manage their caring responsibilities and look after themselves. The Digital Resource for Carers platform is customisable allowing subscribing organisations to promote their own content to their beneficiaries. Through our comprehensive wrap-around service, we identify carers in the localities we work in and promote the service to them via a series of geotargeted Social Media campaigns. The service delivers additional support to carers via a monthly newsletter and regular online sessions.

About you

The person in this role will be an excellent communicator and experienced in account management. As well as exceptional customer service skills, you’ll have good knowledge of IT packages and good organisational skills.
