Jangala is seeking a technically adept and impact-driven person to generate insights from our internet inclusion projects across the UK and internationally. This role will be central in demonstrating the outcomes of Jangala’s programmes, improving our products and support to partners, and contributing to our organisational learning as we aim to deliver socially impactful internet to  4 million people by 2030.

Details of the role

You will design and deliver Jangala’s monitoring, evaluation and data analysis activities. The role will report to Jangala’s Head of Programmes and be a member of the Jangala’s programmes department which leads on the delivery of Jangala’s donor-funded programmes in the UK and internationally, deploying Jangala’s award-winning technology and developing partnerships with community groups and grassroots organisations, charities, local authorities and the United Nations.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing Jangala’s M&E and data analysis systems across UK and international projects, aligning with our 2030 Vision and Theory of Change, as well as donor requirements

• Leading the design and implementation of both quantitative and qualitative data collection tools, including structured surveys, stakeholder interviews and case studies, ensuring methods are ethical and appropriate for diverse contexts

• Developing pipelines and scripts (primarily in Python) to analyse and interpret device telemetry data - eg. usage patterns, uptime, throughput and context-specific behaviours - across tens of thousands of devices operating in a variety of contexts

• Integrating qualitative findings with telemetry and survey data to develop a holistic understanding of impact, progress against indicators and our Theory of Change

• Collecting and analysing data and feedback from partners, end users and stakeholders eg. interviews, surveys and the development of case studies

The person we're looking for

Jangala’s office is based in London and operates a remote-first working policy. However this is a UK based role and travel to our London office will be required for mind-mapping and collaborative work at least once a week.

Scope of role

The Administration Coordinator provides crucial support to the Mental Health Crisis Breathing Space (MHCBS) team by managing administrative processes efficiently. The role focuses on handling key back-office tasks that enable the team to deliver timely and accurate support to clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Coordinate team inboxes and triage emails to appropriate team members or stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate responses within SLAs – handling routine enquiries as standard and more complex enquiries as directed.
• Coordinate team tasks in AdvicePro, resolving issues, issuing or preparing correspondence, and highlighting urgent or non-standard cases for direction and resolution.
• Ensure CRM is maintained with accurate client and case information, running reports for management to review cases, prepare MI returns and support invoicing routines.
• Resolve or triage enquiries via the Insolvency Service portal, ensuring compliance with guidelines.

Spring Community Hub exists to ensure that no one in our Southwark community goes hungry. But we don’t just provide food:

We work alongside people to help them escape poverty, build confidence, and find community.

Our principal activity is the prevention of food poverty and food insecurity by offering culturally appropriate food, fresh fruits, and vegetables as well as dietary and religiously appropriate food which we have continued to run at our five-week sessions to local people for as long as they address the underlying cause.

We also provide a range of wraparound support, including advice services, particularly around employment and immigration through our Back2Work Team, Holiday Clubs for Children, Youth Groups, a Clothing Bank and our Spring Up Women’s group.

The Service Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the mission of our charity by providing comprehensive assistance and advocacy services to individuals and families in need. This position will involve engaging with diverse communities and ensuring that all services are delivered with cultural sensitivity. 

The Service Officer will work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to deliver Food Bank services, Activity Camps, and Afterschool club, advice and advocacy support, clothing assistance, cooking programs, and Social Supermarket Operations, as well as support initiatives for the elderly, individuals experiencing poverty and isolation, and families with children.

The post holder must be an enthusiastic and motivated person to coordinate and manage our Food Banks, Community Café, and Social Supermarket, including the supervision of its volunteers/staff, as well as planning, organising, and implementing supermarket collection. 

The post holder will be required to be flexible to the changing needs of the organisation and as such, undertake tasks and responsibilities not specifically listed here but relevant to the smooth running of SCH, including general office and administrative tasks and aspects of service delivery, as directed by the Leadership Team/ CEO and trustees.

About the Role / Key Responsibilities 

Programme Planning, Delivery and Implementation

•  To design and deliver the  Activity Camps and After School Club  Programme calendar, curriculum, and events that are outcomes-focused, educational, and engaging, and enable young people to develop a range of skills appropriate to their needs.

• Working with Children, young people, and their families to build services that meet their needs, wants, and aspirations of the individual.

• Work in Collaboration with the Leadership Team  to oversee the work of the Spring Activity Camps Coordinators to design and develop a range of activities, workshops, and programmes to meet the needs of our children, young people, and their families 

• Collaborate with other staff members, volunteers, and external partners to deliver engaging, fun, and impactful activities

• Ensure all activities align with the organisation's mission and values and promote personal growth, inclusivity, and well-being.

• Oversee and coordinate the operations of Food Services 

•  Assist clients in accessing food bank services, ensuring they receive the necessary support with dignity and respect.

• Maintain inventory management for food items and coordinate food drives and partnerships with local suppliers.

• Developing and coordinating effective stock control systems, arranging timely transportation of collections and deliveries, and meeting legislative standards - i.e., Health & Safety/Environmental Health.

• Oversee and manage the volunteers in the team who support activities and events, providing necessary guidance and supervision.

• Work with the Director of Vegan Corporate Projects and Corporate Projects Manager to develop and manage a strategic plan for PETA's work with companies
• Establish and maintain productive relationships with corporations and institutions, and negotiate to improve/increase their vegan options while reducing/eliminating meat, dairy and eggs
• Work with caterers at major sports arenas in the UK to encourage them to expand and promote their vegan food offering
• Encourage chicken shop takeaways to have vegan chicken options on the menu
• Develop positive ways to reach farmers, farming organisations, and the public, to promote plant-based agriculture
• Ensure consistency and best practices in external communications

We’re looking to recruit a Healthy and Sustainable Diets Lead to join our Conservation, Advocacy, and Policy team and help us transform the global food system. You will collaborate with Sodexo’s global partnership leads to ensure delivery and alignment across the full breadth of the partnership too.

Our Samaritans Training and Engagement Programmes (STEP) draws on the expertise gained from our support services to provide training and learning options to organisations across all sectors. The programme includes training courses, eLearning, workshops and webinars on topics including listening skills, emotional support, trauma management and suicide prevention.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing customer relationships and providing top-notch support to ensure satisfaction and retention.

• Driving income growth by guiding customers through their sales and stewardship journey.

• Coordinating the delivery of training courses, managing bookings, and handling logistics.

• Supporting the STEP team in reaching income targets with a consultative, customer-first approach.

• Handling admin tasks like data input, reporting, and system improvements.

What we’re looking for:

• A highly experienced Administrator with experience in a customer facing environment.

• Previous experience of working in a sales environment.

• Experience of administering and organising events or training courses in a busy environment with competing priorities, with a focus on a strong attention to detail.

• Ability to develop strong, warm working relationships with both internal colleagues and external customers using excellent communication skills, problem solving, trust and reliability.

• Experience of prioritising own workload and working to deadlines with speed and accuracy.

• Excellent IT skills

The Role

Support the Finance Department by processing income to the HTB Group and processing the expenditure for one or more HTBG entity.

The majority of work is processing income to the HTB Group but a portion is dedicated to expenditure processing, giving the job holder valuable experience in both areas.

The Key Responsibilities

Income Controller – HTB Group

• Raising invoices, credit notes for all entities across HTB Group
• Recording sales and customer receipts
• Processing BACS, cash, cheque, and card payments for all entities
• Running Aged Debtors reports quarterly and sending balance sheet to all departments.
• Maintaining and updating customer accounts.
• Monitoring credit control
• Running quarterly internal audits to car park book receipts
• Download Bank Statement weekly.
• Processing Income Forms - Cash, Cheques, cards payments
• Processing weekly Carpark cash reports. Offering and Income.
• Processing occasional reimbursements of unauthorised expenses/expenditure from staff
• Investigating unknown bank transactions across all entities
• Recording banked cheques on weekly basis
• Being point of contact for all things income, liaising with event organisers and head of teams for income related queries.
• Income reconciliations each month for the different stripe and square accounts.

Purchase Ledger Controller for one or more of the HTBG entities
• Managing the Purchase Ledger
• Managing the Pay Run
• Ensure all invoices are correctly coded and authorised.
• Ensure all staff expenses are correctly coded and authorised.
• Ensure all staff expenses fall in the staff expense policy.
• Process invoices and expense claims in Access Dimensions
• Ensure all batch payments are accurate and match to payment information.
• Processing Bankline payment runs twice a month.
• Processing urgent payments
• Send out supplier and Staff remittances.
• Deal with supplier and staff enquires/queries.

Miscellaneous
• Help with Cash count when required.
• Support other team members in their duties when required.
• Contributes fully to the day to day operation of the team or area, always seeking to be flexible and with an attitude of service
• Able to deliver routine tasks and resolve straightforward issues

About You

We are currently looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our IT Department on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in strengthening Southbank Centre’s cybersecurity operations. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Lead, you will support the protection and resilience of our digital systems, contributing to the monitoring of threats and enhancing our proactive response to the evolving cybersecurity landscape.

You’ll be joining a collaborative Infrastructure Team that includes a Senior Network Analyst and a Server & Cloud Engineer, working alongside our first and second-line Service Desk support team of five.

Main responsibilities

• Investigating and managing security incidents and supporting ongoing threat monitoring
• Promoting good security practices and behaviours across the organisation
• Supporting the development and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and procedures
• Assisting with incident response and coordination with external cybersecurity partners
• Staying informed on emerging threats and sharing insights with the wider team
• Maintaining security tools and infrastructure in collaboration with other IT teams
• Helping to deliver engaging security awareness training for colleagues across the organisation
