LMK (Let Me Know) is on a mission to change that. We are a young and thriving charity providing education about healthy and unhealthy behaviours so that young people have the knowledge and skills to avoid abuse and thrive in their relationships. We work in schools, community organisations and workplaces across London. 

LMK is growing at pace and we are ambitious in our plans for the future. We’ve already engaged 15,000 young people and professionals in our workshops in our first 4 years and we want to reach 10,000 young people per year by 2025-26. 

We will achieve this by engaging new schools, community groups and workplaces in our offer, whilst also continuing to provide a high-quality service to those who have already experienced LMK workshops, embedding our programme into their annual delivery plans.

Job Purpose

The purpose of the Programme Coordinator is co-ordinate with all parties (Community Engagement Manager, the Programme Manager, LMK Leaders and the host organisations) to enable LMK to deliver high quality workshops for young people/youth work professionals/workplaces. 

Acting as the lynchpin of the organisation’s delivery team, the Programme Coordinator takes the workshop brief from the LMK Community Engagement Manager and then works with the Programme Manager to secure facilitators (LMK leaders), ensures the host organisation receives all supporting information, and provides LMK Leaders with the resources they need to deliver the workshop effectively. This role is also responsible for regular reporting about workshop bookings and delivery. 

Reporting to our CEO, the successful candidate will be part of LMK’s core staff team. You will work with LMK staff, LMK Leaders, members of our Youth Advisory Board, trustees and key stakeholders to develop and implement our long-term strategy. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Provide excellent customer service to organisations who are hosting LMK workshops, ensuring that all communication is timely and accurate, and any questions are responded to in full.

• Liaise with the Programme Manager and LMK Leaders to ensure there is clear understanding around their areas of expertise, availability and any specific considerations that need to be taken into account when delivering workshops.

• Open up opportunities to deliver workshops to any Leader applicable, ensuring the allocation of workshops is done fairly and consistently.

• Ensure LMK leaders have the information and resources required to deliver their workshop.

• Work closely with the Research and Evaluation Manager to ensure that the correct evaluation surveys are made available to workshop participants. 

• Work with our Head of Fundraising to track workshop delivery against funder commitments.

• Keep the CRM system data up to date in a timely way.

• Produce regular reports for the CEO on the booking and delivery of workshops, as well as any ad-hoc reports requested. 

• Share Leader evaluation feedback from workshops with Leaders.

• Check invoices submitted by LMK leaders, and work with the Programme Manager to get them approved. 

• Support the Programme Manager to organise LMK Leader Huddles and training events.

• Comply with our policies and procedures relating to safeguarding, confidentiality, complaints and data protection.

Person specification

• At least 2 years’ experience in an event management/admin management/executive assistant/operations role where there was a strong requirement to work with multiple stakeholders internally and externally.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an excellent track record of customer service.

• Proven ability to work well within a team.

• Highly organised to manage a diverse workload with excellent time management and ability to pay attention to detail.

• Excellent organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Creative thinker with the ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent IT skills across core MS/Google packages, ideally with experience of CRM use

We are recruiting a Stories Manager to develop and drive our strategy to put the stories of our volunteers, callers and fundraisers at the front of our communications and fundraising work.

Person specifications

The Monitoring & Rights Manager should hold a Master's Degree in law, anthropology, or international development, with 3 to 5 years of project management experience in charity or international development. Fluency in English and French is required, with a strong grasp of forest governance and human rights issues, particularly in West and Central Africa.

Essential skills include leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, and financial management, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Personal attributes include a commitment to defending human rights, cultural sensitivity, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Willingness to travel up to 16 weeks per year, including to remote areas, is necessary.

About the role: 

As an Area Manager, you’ll lead and support shop teams across your designated area, made up of paid and voluntary staff. You will take full accountability for the profit of a mixed portfolio of shops in the Surrey and Middlesex area; this accountability extends to all income streams and controllable shop expenses. You will also be instrumental in developing and delivering, through your shop teams, high levels of supporter experience through well-presented shops and excellent supporter service. You’ll work closely with the Head of Retail and other Hospice colleagues in the day to day running of the business and contribute to all future development. 

This is a full time, field-based role. You will have an office base but the majority of the working week will be spent in shops with a need to travel daily between your shops. You’ll need to hold a current driving license (maximum 6 penalty points). The role also includes working ad hoc weekends, as needs of the business require.

About You: 

This position would ideally suit an experienced Area Manager, with a background in charity. However, we welcome applications form Area Managers with a solid background and transferable skills from the retail industry.

With proven people management experience, you will be confident, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills coupled with a high degree of competence in IT skills.

You will be self-motivated, able to handle conflict, problem solve and develop working relationships at all levels. Additionally, you will be extremely well organised, flexible and able to manage several tasks simultaneously.

At The Compassionate Friends (TCF) we are passionate about providing peer support to grieving parents and their families whose son or daughter has died at any age (from one month old to an adult) and from any cause. We offer this support through our network of over 300 dedicated volunteers who are themselves bereaved parents or siblings. We are now seeking an Events & Community Fundraiser to join our small, but dedicated and hardworking, staff team to help us to develop our funding to continue our vital work. In this exciting and diverse role, you will be leading on the recruitment and stewardship of individual fundraisers and fundraising groups undertaking challenge events, digital fundraising and other community fundraising initiatives. 

Just some of the activities you will be working on include:

o   Taking ownership of community and events fundraising at The Compassionate Friends, including preparing an annual plan, and incorporating digital fundraising alongside traditional methods.

o   Managing existing and introducing new challenge and fundraising events to grow the events programme, This will include attending some key fundraising events.

o   Managing a programme of community fundraising, including relationships with various community groups.

o Building and maintaining effective relationships, delivering excellent support care and stewardship to donors, fundraisers, community groups, and partner organisations. Researching and designing new fundraising events, initiatives and products .

o Writing inspiring content for supporter communications, social media and website content

This role is for you if you have experience or transferable skills around planning, organising and delivering fundraising campaigns and activities, proven experience or skills in delivering income growth in an events and/or community fundraising setting and knowledge of online fundraising tools, digital marketing and social media.. As Fundraising Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring our supporters receive a positive and rewarding experience, as well as providing administration support for the fundraising team, including assisting on events and campaigns.

We are looking for a motivated, confident individual with strong organisational skills and an impeccable attention to detail, who is passionate about fundraising and our ambition and purpose. The successful applicant will be expected to have a broad understanding of a range of income generation methods and communication styles, and the charity sector.

You will play a key role in attracting, building and managing relationships with a range of supporters including individual donors and fundraisers, community groups, local businesses, and volunteers. From initial enquiries to fundraisers and doners, to taking responsibility for our thanking, you will look after our complete supporter care journey and ensure that the Foundation provides an exceptional experience for our supporters.

You will develop key relationships within the Foundation and Club, providing support to the rest of the Fundraising and Engagement Team as required. Some weekend and evening working will be required as part of the role. Previous experience is desirable, not essential, and the right candidate will be given scope for career progression and additional responsibilities as we grow. 

Key responsibilities 

• Act as main point of contact for supporters and donors, responding to enquiries in a timely manner
• Provide fundraising support to those raising money for the Foundation, including challenge event participants, schools, clubs, and community fundraisers
• Assist in the delivery of matchday activity for the Foundation, primarily through our 50/50 Raffle and other activations that raise funds and awareness of our purpose
• Support the Events Manager and Head of Fundraising and Engagement in the delivery of Foundation events
• Support our growing portfolio of challenge events, researching opportunities for the Foundation supporters to raise funds, and delivering exceptional supporter care to ensure we maximise these opportunities and build relationships with our fundraisers
• Assist the Head of Fundraising and Engagement in the development and delivery of a community fundraising programme
• Maintain and update donor records on our fundraising database
• Manage the administration and fulfilment of auction and other fundraising prizes, being the main point of contact for donors and relevant partners and ambassadors
• Cultivate and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to Harlequin FC, their partners and sponsors, regular individual givers and high-net worth donors, community fundraisers, local schools and clubs
• Represent the Foundation both internally and externally, acting as an ambassador for the Foundation and advocating for our work

Qualification and experience

• Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience
• A minimum of two years’ experience in a professional environment in a similar, admin or events-based role
• Excellent user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience of CRM systems and project management tools
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to evidence experience of building excellent relationships and a confidence in networking and proactively communication with a range of stakeholders
• Experience of working with data and administrative tasks Desirable
• Experience of working in a similar fundraising executive/supporter care role (desirable)
• Experience of working with high-net-worth individuals or celebrities would be an advantage

Skills, abilities and knowledge

Job Purpose:

• Contribute to hyh’s overall Fundraising strategy as a member of the Fundraising Team

The Individual Giving & Acquisitions Lead is a new role in their Marketing & Communications team. The postholder will play a key role in developing and delivering the Individual Giving Programme to drive income growth, engage new audiences and retain existing supporters. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Manager to join the Fundraising, Marketing & Communications team at SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity on a six-month contract. This role will support the Head of Marketing & Brand to deliver impactful, integrated marketing and brand activations with great results. 

You will work on strategies and campaigns that serve the objectives of all areas within SSAFA, so your expertise will help raise awareness of crucial services, recruit volunteers, support fundraising initiatives and promote understanding of SSAFA’s work. Most notably you will develop the strategic approach and activation of a new brand proposition in the Autumn. This is an incredibly important piece of work for the charity, so the role will suit somebody with experience in driving a brand previously.

You will work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues across the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications directorate, taking briefs and translating them into finalised marketing activations. Alongside the Head of Marketing & Brand you will work closely with the rest of the team, particularly the Senior Marketing Officer.

About the team 

You will be joining a well-established team of marcomms professionals, ranging from designers to case study managers and social media experts. You will have plenty of opportunity to interact with other internal departments, such as Fundraising or members of the volunteer network. 

 About you 

To hit the ground running and carry out this role successfully you will have:

• Demonstrable experience managing marketing or brand strategies and campaigns that achieve engagement or brand visibility metrics.
• Experience of managing projects with several internal stakeholders working with either agency or in-house delivery teams.
• The ability to interrogate and understand a brief in order to develop multi-channel campaign plans and co-ordinate the creation of compelling content and collateral that resonates with audiences.
• Experience of co-ordinating post-campaign analysis reports in order to communicate achievements and performance to relevant internal stakeholders.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines as needed. 
• Experience of working in a commercial, public or not-for-profit organisation would be beneficial.
