As Graphic Designer you’ll be responsible for showcasing the impact and reach of our work through a wide range of creative. You’ll be working in a busy Communications Team, as part of GWT’s wider Engagement and Fundraising Team, and will work closely with the Head of External Relations , in addition to building relationships with staff across the organisation.
You’ll develop creative across a range of communications channels, including digital and print. As our ideal candidate, you’ll be a strong problem solver, with a conscientious and collaborative approach. You’ll have an excellent level of attention to detail, communication and strong interpersonal skills.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing a fluctuating workload, with the ability to balance creativity with pragmatism to meet the varied needs of the organisaiton.
As a member of the Communications Team, the Graphic Designer will plan and execute creative for a variety of projects and audiences, including to support GWT’s fundraising work. You’ll work closely with the Head of External Relations and Head of Supporter Development to shape ideas, develop concepts and articulate and refine our message through creative.
As a key brand guardian, you’ll work to keep the organisation unified, using and developing our brand identity effectively both internally and externally.

About the role.
Head of Fundraising is one of the most critical and most challenging roles in the organisation and requires a highly skilled relationship builder.
You’ll be responsible for all fundraising activities and will hold key relationships with the biggest companies in the world.
By providing excellent stewardship and engagement opportunities you’ll ensure these vital partners continue to contribute towards online child safety.
You’ll secure not only industry buy-in and participation but the funding required to carry out the research, advocacy and policy work Internet Matters carry out.
You’ll also develop and implement the fundraising strategy across core funding streams, primarily through existing partners but also:
- Grants
- Commissioned research and policy work
- Securing new corporate partners
Each relationship with partners is bespoke and highly valued.
You’ll work to ensure these partnerships are long-term and mutually beneficial, spotting opportunities to deepen relationships and for business development to generate revenue for the charity outside of fundraised income.
This is a role that affords you a high degree of autonomy with a supportive team around you.
By its nature, the work of Internet Matters is fast-moving and responsive to new issues and technologies that emerge so this postholder must be adaptable.
