We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Head of Charity Development to work closely with the Deputy CEO to support change, diversification and transformation at Mind in Mid Herts (MiMH).

This role will focus on:

• Managing and expanding our income generation streams through our corporate and community fundraising
• Enhancing our marketing, communications and positioning internally and externally
• Using data-led insights to transform our income across the organisation.

You will:

• Lead on income partnerships and corporate development, working with our Leadership Team across the organisation to expand our service portfolio.
• Take responsibility for developing and deploying a new income generation strategy, with a passion to see more local funding sourced to support the work of MiMH and enable investment to underpin the ever-increasing demand in the county.

Key Responsibilities:

• Increase and diversify our income generation, including corporate and community routes, through fundraising, marketing and insights
• Accountable for budget and financial targets to support income generation through fundraising, donations and corporate approach, ensuring sustainable development for MiMH
• Lead the creation and delivery of a new business, digital marketing and fundraising strategy for MiMH
• Deliver on strategic aims of income diversification for MiMH including sponsorships, donors and corporate partnerships
• Lead the development of clear positioning, brand and voice for MiMH; supporting internal and external communications
• Identify and develop a strong pipeline of business and partnership opportunities
• Work within the ethos, vision and values of the organisation

Salary: £42,000 to £47,500 per annum

About the Role

This is a brilliant time to join YSP as it approaches its 50th anniversary and is looking to secure financial support for the next 50 years. The Head of Development will be integral in securing YSP's future through crafting and executing an ambitious fundraising strategy, developing new income streams, and growing a pipeline of funding. Currently, the development team generates £500k per annum, which YSP aims to double over the next five years.

You'll lead and develop a team of four, providing the tools and support they need in order to deliver exceptional fundraising initiatives and events. While you'll work collaboratively towards shared goals, a key priority of this role will be to secure major gifts and build long-term relationships with a network of philanthropists, supporters and partners.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced fundraiser, ideally in the high value space. You'll have project management experience and will have developed and delivered strategic plans.

You'll be an expert communicator and relationship builder, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll also be a strong leader, with experience managing and inspiring staff to complete projects successfully.

About the role:

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver the Philanthropy Plan in line with the Organisational and Fundraising Strategy to maintain and grow sustainable income from major donors, corporate partnerships and trusts and foundations

• Oversee the income pipelines for all philanthropic income streams, conducting regular prospect research and ensuring systems and processes are in place to identify potential high value supporters, enabling seamless transition across income streams.

• Oversee the due diligence process for all high value donors.
• Champion the use of Beacon (our central relationship management system) across the team, ensure consistency of use, accurate reporting and data informed decision making.

Person Specification
Essential

• Proven experience and understanding of major partnership fundraising including trusts & foundations, major donor and corporate fundraising techniques
• Experience and evidence of first-class relationship management techniques and donor care
• A demonstrable understanding of the written and contractual agreements involved in partnerships, ideally within a charity
• Proven track record of securing significant major gifts
• Experience of effective reporting to board level ensuring compliance, transparency and accountability are achieved
• Significant experience of managing high performance teams
• Experienced in creating strategies, annual plans, and budgets, and adapting them as required
• Proven track record of working successfully in targeted and high pressure environments
• A demonstrable track record of deploying effective fundraising tactics and high-level donor cultivation
• Experience of undertaking due diligence processes within a complex organisation.

This role will suit someone located in the South West or London as regular travel (usually at least one community visit per week) will be required to Bristol, Gloucester and London.

• Oversee the delivery of our Trusts and Foundations programme, shaping plans to ensure outstanding donor engagement and stewardship, future income growth and the delivery of our mission for forests, people and nature
• Personally manage a portfolio of prospects and existing funders at the six- and seven-figure level, inspiring them to give for the first time and continue or increase their giving

Surviving Economic Abuse (SEA) is the only UK charity dedicated to raising awareness of economic abuse and transforming responses to it.

Since our founding in 2017, we’ve proudly campaigned successfully for the recognition of economic abuse in UK law and influenced wide-ranging systemic change to transform responses to it. We're now entering an ambitious new phase, and we’re seeking a dynamic, strategic and values-led Head of Income as part of the Senior Leadership Teamto help drive it forward.

This is a critical time for SEA. You will identify, understand and engage with key partners and Stakeholders who can support DanceSyndrome’s ambitions to be the ‘go to’ and ‘organisation of choice’ for people with learning disabilities, leadership opportunities and an inclusive unique co-led delivery model which doesn’t exist anywhere else. Through effective partnership working, you will work across sectors and reach under-served and diverse communities. You will also be able to identify key barriers to access, gaps in current provision across the region and seek valuable evidence to inform strategy and to feed back to funders.

You will be an extremely personable and approachable individual with a strategic mind, and persuasive manner who is able to reach and attract new participants, increase engagement in our Community workshops, and secure local community engagement to ensure the long-term sustainability of DanceSyndrome’s community offering.

You will turn leads in sales in a variety of ways from initiating unusual and impactful partnerships, growing the number of beneficiaries, increasing sales of our products and services, securing in-kind support and vital funding.

You will also develop and manage an engaging and rewarding Volunteer Programme across key communities including recruiting, training, onboarding and retaining volunteers.

MSI Reproductive Choices UK is an independent provider of NHS-funded sexual and reproductive health services, with over 60 clinics across England providing abortion, vasectomy and contraception services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead, develop and manage external communications strategy in close collaboration with media and advocacy leads and the digital marketing team

We are looking for someone with experience in or around the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) Sector to become our new Head of Sector Development. This new role will oversee several Alliances between VCFSE organisations, Health and Local Government, as well as leading on our sector development offer.

Our preferred candidate will have significant stakeholder management experience and be confident in managing relationships across different sectors. They will have a good understanding of the VCFSE sector, and an understanding of Health or Local Government is desirable. They will have a person-centred approach to management and the ability to research, analyse and synthesise information to present to a range of audiences.

You will lead on fundraising strategy and delivery, working closely with the CEO and trustees to secure and steward donations from individuals, trusts, corporates, and legacy gifts. You will also line manage the Communications and Marketing Manager, supporting them to refine and deliver a clear, consistent, and impactful communications strategy that engages donors, partners, and communities.
