We’re looking for a graphic designer to join our busy, dynamic and creative team. As part of our in-house design studio, you’ll create new content and breathe fresh life into existing assets – covering everything from fundraising and campaigning to support and research.
You’ll be a champion of our visual identity, supporting colleagues to deliver their aims and show-off our brand to their audiences in the best ways possible. Using your skills and experience to adapt designs for different channels and formats.

The Senior Executive Assistant will play a pivotal role in the Chief Executive’s Office, working closely with the Deputy Chief Executive and members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the smooth and effective execution of strategic, operational, and governance priorities. Acting as a trusted partner and first point of contact, the Senior Executive Assistant will proactively manage high-level administrative functions, facilitate internal and external stakeholder engagement, and contribute to organisation-wide planning and coordination. The role requires a high level of discretion, organisational acumen, and an ability to anticipate the needs of senior leaders in a dynamic and mission-driven environment.
In addition to supporting the Deputy Chief Executive, this role also provides specific project support to the Directors within the Fundraising and Marketing Directorate and contributes to the governance, internal communications, and strategic coordination across Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK).
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Executive Support
· Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted liaison for the Deputy Chief Executive, managing their calendar, commitments, and priorities with discretion and strategic foresight.
· Proactively coordinate complex diaries, internal and external meetings, and briefings, ensuring effective time management and optimal scheduling across teams and stakeholders.
· Prepare agendas, compile and distribute papers, attend meetings as needed, and record minutes and action points with professionalism and accuracy.
· Manage comprehensive travel arrangements (domestic and international), including bookings, itineraries, visa requirements, and expenses in line with organisational policy.
· Screen incoming correspondence (emails, calls, invitations), handle or redirect enquiries, and ensure timely and appropriate follow-up.
· Provide responsive and high-quality administrative support across the Senior Leadership Team as needed, in coordination with the Executive Support Manager.
Governance, Project and Strategic Support
· Coordinate and manage key organisational meetings including: Monthly Heads meetings across ARUK and Fundraising and Marketing Leadership Team (FMLT) meetings
· Ensure the smooth delivery of these meetings by preparing documentation, recording actions, and driving follow-through with relevant stakeholders.
· Support cross-organisational strategic initiatives, such as ARUK’s Stakeholder Engagement programme and other priority activities led by the Deputy Chief Executive.
· Proactively use ARUK’s CRM system (Salesforce) to support relationship management and strategic engagement by Executive Directors.
· Assist in the planning and delivery of internal communications activities and events that build alignment and engagement across the organisation to include the annual Fundraising and Marketing away day and monthly Fundraising and Marketing meeting.
· Take on discrete projects on behalf of the Deputy Chief Executive
· Work closely with the Executive Support Manager and Head of Governance to support Board and trustee-related activities, including the preparation of papers, coordination of logistics, and accurate record-keeping.
· Help ensure the delivery of effective governance arrangements and contribute to continuous improvement in the support of ARUK’s leadership and oversight functions.
Team and Leadership Contribution
· Act as a senior member of the Executive Support team, sharing best practices and supporting colleagues with guidance, training, and mentoring where appropriate and deputising for the Executive Support Manager where appropriate
· Contribute to process improvement initiatives that increase the efficiency and impact of the Chief Executive’s Office.
· Stay informed of sector developments, best practices in executive support, and opportunities for innovation within the charity’s operations.
What we are looking for:
· Extensive experience providing high-level executive support to senior leaders
· Discretion, integrity, and sound judgement in handling confidential and sensitive information.
· Experience coordinating meetings, travel, and logistics for senior leaders.
· Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with proven ability to manage complex and competing priorities.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and professional presentation.

Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

ABOUT THE JOB
Responsibilities:
The overall responsibility of the Senior Advisor for Business Development and Donor Engagement is to develop, coordinate, and lead regional processes for business development and strategic programme development and support donor engagement and the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships in the region. The role also provides business development support to country programmes within the region upon request, and coordinates with relevant global functions to ensure regional efforts are in line with organisational strategies.
Partnership Engagement
- Contextualize global fundraising and engagement strategies for the region and develop regional donor engagement plans to foster and maintain constructive, long-term relationships with strategic regional donors and partners.
- Lead regional donor mapping exercises to identify strategic donors (including institutional, private sector, foundations, and non-traditional donors) and areas of programmatic priority overlap and alignment.

Knowledge Management And Intel
- Maintain regional overview of donor intel to support country, regional and HQ engagement and strategy development
- Support HQ donor focal points with trends analysis and the like to enable DRC to preposition for opportunities in a timely manner.
Strategic Programmatic Development
- Collaborate with regional programme and support teams including the Commercial Contracts and Consortia team to align and adapt strategic programmatic priorities and regional capacity with regional donor strategies and funding opportunities.
- Under the direction of the Head of Global Foundations and Institutional donors and in close coordination with Head of Programme Support and relevant technical colleagues lead or support country programmes in the development of new, strategic, or complex interventions for prepositioning outside of country programme capacity or resources to maintain or diversity country portfolios
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role we expect you to build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with diverse regional donors, ensuring alignment between donor priorities and DRC programmes. It also requires proactive gathering and analysis of donor intel to identify funding opportunities and maintain and clear pipeline. Finally, close coordination with regional, country and HQ is key to success. Moreover, we also expect the following:
Required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience at a senior level leading strategic new business development, strategic engagement, and fundraising efforts.
- Strong understanding of the humanitarian and development landscape and architecture globally and in the East Africa and Great Lakes region
- Demonstrated experience with effectively engaging, coordinating, and maintaining networks with donors, partners, and local actors.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic (Senior) Research Officer. This exciting role involves undertaking research on gambling related financial harms and engaging with stakeholders in financial services firms to practically apply our research to their work. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent critical thinking, research and policy development skills, with the ability to digest complex information quickly and appraise firms work against regulatory requirements, best practice examples and policy recommendations.
The successful candidate will primarily work as part of the Gambling Harms Action Lab team where we’re bringing together seven representatives from financial services firms to explore ways to reduce gambling related financial harms. The (Senior) Research Officer will be an integral part of the team working to tackle gambling related financial harms through delivering timely and insightful research and consultancy support.
We are looking for an exceptional team member who is driven to create meaningful change and is passionate about tackling gambling related financial harms. The successful candidate should have a genuine commitment to our organisation's mission, as well as to the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Reporting into the Head of Major Gifts, you will be responsible for leading on grant applications from trusts and other grant giving organisations. The grants will often be in the five to six figure range, and will be for a wide variety of activities, including bursaries, the Fonteyn International Ballet Competition, local and national learning and participation projects, and more. You will also be building on existing relationships with grant-giving organisations and help plan fundraising with the Head of Major Gifts and the Director of Fundraising and Development.
As a Trusts and Grants Manager you will:
- have experience in trusts and grants fundraising

Overview / Purpose
The Research Events Coordinator plays a central role in the organisation's mission to build a world-leading Research Centre. This department coordinates, generates, and champions research activity across the organisation. The Research Events Coordinator contributes the Department's central mission to advance knowledge through the conception, creation, delivery, and dissemination of the highest quality research events aimed at the widest possible public and specialist audiences, undertaken through many diverse channels and through the organisation's local, national, and international research projects and partnerships.
The role holder provides efficient and effective administration and coordination of the organisation's annual programme of research events, organised by the Research Department in collaboration with research-active staff from across the institution. In coordination with other Research Department staff, in particular the Research Centre Manager, you are responsible for the overall planning, delivery, and archiving of all research events, both in-person and hybrid. This includes (but is not limited to): research seminars, exhibition colloquia, scholarly workshops, academic conferences, annual lectures, and other internal research events. Key Responsibility
Support the Research Centre Manager, Senior Research Lead, and Head of Research in:
Events Administration
- Attend meetings, take and circulate notes on event planning and preparation.
- Assist the Research Centre Manager, Senior Research Lead, Head of Research, and all other event-hosting staff with: coordinating Calls for Papers; liaising with speakers and collaborators; providing administration for all aspects of events planning.
- Book travel and accommodation for external speakers (and VIP attendees); attend any related invoices and ensure prompt payment of the same.
- Book venues and prepare rooms for conferences, seminars, and all other Research Centre events, e.g. arrange furniture, set up refreshments.
- Arrange, as necessary, all IT and AV support for events, including speaker and participant digital access for online events, facilitating practice sessions, and any livestreams and recording of events.
- Work at evening events (outside office hours) at the organisation or events hosted at external locations, as required (agreed in advance).
- Provide technical support at digital events, including setting up hybrid planning meetings between internal and external colleagues.

Communications and Advertising:

- Maintain and develop the email list of subscribers to events mailings and to the newsletter.

- Work with Digital and Creative Teams to create event templates for invitations that match the brand, the research theme and audience of the given event.
- Work to promote upcoming research events using internal and external advertising platforms, as appropriate.
Research Centre Administration:
- Provide front-of-house support to the Research Centre, as necessary.
- Attend and take and circulate notes, as required, at relevant committees/working groups for research.
- Work with Senior Research Lead and Research Centre Manager to carry out administration related to research projects, including assisting with budgets, processing invoices, securing image rights, publishing web content, liaising with external collaborators and visiting fellows, booking travel and accommodation and providing administration for all research project activities.
Key Required Skills
- Substantial experience of event management to coordinate projects and events, ideally within a large, multipart organisation.

Our approach to hybrid working
We recognise the importance of coming together regularly, in-person, as a team, so we can share learnings and spend social time with each other. We also recognise that people need flexibility, and that homeworking enables focused work and can fit well in people’s lives.

Action4Youth is seeking to appoint a talented new Chief Executive Officer to provide leadership, to develop and implement strategic and operational plans while leading on income generation, partnership and business development and being an effective advocate for the charity and its beneficiaries.
The role will commence on 5th January 2026 and is based between the Aylesbury office and The Caldecotte Xperience in Milton Keynes.
Key responsibilities:
- To support and advise the Chair and Board of Trustees in setting the vision, strategy and business planning of the organization
- To create and sustain effective multi-channel, multi-purpose income generation.
- To lead on organisational change: identifying and responding to internal and external challenges and influencing organisational culture so the organisation is supportive, inclusive and cohesive.
- To deliver an ambitious, aspirational and innovative strategy that has a clear, measurable impact.
The new CEO will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Charity, providing effective leadership and direction for the organisation The successful candidate will instil in the positive culture of the organisation and motivate the team to achieve fantastic results. You will be a problem solver who understands the bigger picture and will be able to demonstrate this through your experiences. You will be able to develop highly effective partnerships, be an active listener, excellent communicator and be an ambassador for the charity.
