About the role

As an Experienced Practitioner, you will provide direct support and care for our young people who have complex emotional and mental health difficulties (such as trauma and loss) and can struggle to regulate their emotions.

Working within a therapeutic framework, you will develop a direct programme of work aimed at developing authentic relationships with our children and young people (aged 12 – 17 years old), you will also have responsibility for making sure our residents are safe, providing support, liaison with other professionals and completion of support documents to record information.

If applying for the Waking Night role, you will have the additional support of an on-call manager should there be any emergencies. Further to this, you will be involved in monthly team meetings and receive monthly supervision.

Applicants should have

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent (i.e. Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People Workforce with the children's social care pathway) or be willing to achieve the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 2 years as per Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 (England).
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience working and supporting children and Young People to achieve their full potential.
• Genuine commitment to working with and supporting children and Young People to achieve their full potential; with the ability to build and promote trusted relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
• An understanding of the issues facing children and Young People and a basic understanding of safeguarding Regulations and Procedures.
• The ability to cope effectively with challenging behaviour.
• Good communication and team working skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Commitment to undertake any mandatory training (outside of working hours) and continuous learning to ensure a high level of service.

Recruitment Process

Job description - Partnerships and Income Manager

Salary: £38,000 per annum 

Contract: Permanent

Reports to: Head of Commercial Services

Hours: Full or part-time hours considered, minimum 0.8 FTE 

Start date: November 2025

Location: Home-based (travel costs paid for meetings) 

Annual leave: 27 days FTE per annum plus Bank holidays (22 days FTE per annum under the Four Day Week) 

Please note that at Waterwise we work a Four Day Week, under voluntary agreements which all staff members sign. This means that you will be contracted and paid as full-time but you will sign a voluntary agreement stating that you commit to employing efficiency tools both individual and team-wide to deliver and be paid for 5 days work within four normal 9 to 5 days - the office is closed on Fridays. Training will be provided and you will be expected to continue to refresh your training and to keep up use of the efficiency tools. Annual leave is also pro rata’d. We can answer any questions you may have about this at the interview/s. On a 20 hours a week contract, you would be spending 16 hours a week at work including the equivalent of 2 one hour lunch breaks, and this can be worked in a flexible pattern, such as two full days or more, shorter days.

Partnerships and Income Manager Role Description

The Partnerships and Income Manager role involves engaging a range of stakeholders to help generate greater impact and income for Waterwise. The Partnerships and Income Manager will be responsible for researching and identifying potential new business opportunities; conducting outreach to new and existing stakeholders to encourage collaboration; building and maintaining relationships with Waterwise partners, sponsors and members; and assisting with developing winning proposals for funding, in order to deepen the impact we make with individuals, communities and businesses across the UK. The Partnerships and Income Manager will lead on delivery against income targets for our services and events. 

Key responsibilities in the role include: 

• Generating income for Waterwise by retaining existing partners, recruiting new partners, selling sponsorship opportunities, and increasing engagement and investment in Waterwise membership and services

• Researching and identifying new business development leads in line with Waterwise’s commercial strategy

• Building and maintaining an active pipeline of commercial and partnership opportunities to drive income 

• Conducting market and competitor research and engagement to ensure we have a clear understanding of customer needs and align our services to meet those needs

• Conducting lead generation and lead nurturing activities, including representing Waterwise at events and conferences, reaching out to potential new partners by email, phone or social media, and conducting introductory meetings with potential sponsors, members and partners

• Acting as account manager for Waterwise partners, (working alongside the Membership and Marketing Manager who manages member relationships), leading on administration such as ensuring Salesforce CRM is up-to-date, conducting Waterwise’s ethical screening process for potential partners, managing partnership agreements and payments

• Working with the Memberships and Marketing Manager to design and implement communications to demonstrate how partnering with Waterwise offers value for money and delivers against ESG commitments

• Working on grant funding proposals and project bids

• Working with the wider team to assist in the development of content for our newsletter, social media, blogs, trade media and press

• Assisting the team with organising events (e.g. Waterwise annual conference)

• Attending conferences, seminars and meetings to represent Waterwise

The Role

In this role, you will support the Director of Finance in providing a proactive, efficient, and highly effective finance service across the Diocesan Board of Finance and Trust custodian company, as well as supporting the larger finance team who look after the Board of Education.

The role will include taking ownership of the budget and forecast for ODBF, running the month-end and reporting process and interacting with Heads of Department and key Diocese clergy in helping to run their day-to-day operations.  The role will also take the lead in managing the tax and statutory reporting, and appropriate training assistance will be made available as required. You will play a key role within a Finance department, directly managing 2 staff members. 

This is an exciting period of change for the organisation, which includes the introduction of a new system 3 years ago that you will help to manage to ensure it is being maximised in usefulness.

About You

We are looking for an experienced, part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) to join the friendly team in this Finance function. You will embrace the challenge that such a varied role brings. 

With proven experience in producing timely, high-quality and accurate financial information, your ‘can-do’ approach to work will inspire you to deliver excellent, meaningful financial reports that will have high impact for stakeholders. As an Income and Housing Officer you will help to maximise the organisation's rental income collection,n effectively manage rent arrears and deal with other breaches of the occupancy agreement.

What you'll do:
* Take responsibility for maximising rent collection across a defined patch of Look Ahead's portfolio of properties ensuring that rent collection targets are met and tenancies sustained

* Advise operational teams on their support related arrears management activities, including holding local surgeries with tenants and staff, taking direct control of higher level and more complex arrears cases

* Proactively monitor all current and former accounts within the defined patch and make recommendations to the Housing Manager for appropriate former accounts to be written off or referred to Look Ahead's debt collection agency

* Ensure that the rent collection function is carried out both sensitively and in a timely fashion so as to avoid the build up of excessive arrears and record all case details accurately.

* Ensure that all sign ups within the defined patch are done accurately on the correct type of tenancy and at the correct rent and service charge levels.

* Prepare files and documents for legal action and present cases in County Court hearings for possession claims, money judgements

Strategic litigation is core to Liberty’s work.  Our lawyers work closely with the rest of the organisation using casework and legal advice to help Liberty reach its strategic goals.  You will be responsible for running a small caseload of strategic litigation, conducting interventions and providing specialist human rights advice.  A large part of the role is identifying and then scoping potential cases, working closely with other organisations to develop the litigation in a collaborative and creative way.

If you are interested in a job that involves innovative legal work in the NGO sector, we would like to hear from you. Chatham Historic Dockyard Trust is seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to lead all aspects of fundraising and development during a 12-month maternity cover period.  As a key member of the Management Team, you will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to drive capital fundraising campaigns, deliver the Trust’s Arts Council England NPO Consortium, and expand core fundraising activities that support our charitable aims of Preservation and Learning.  You'll also play a vital role in developing new streams of charitable giving including corporate partnerships, individual giving, and legacy campaigns.

• Support the provision of high quality, evidence informed speech and language therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people attending The Children’s Trust, in partnership with other members of the multi-disciplinary team.

• Contribute to the assessment and discussion of new referrals to The Children’s Trust, carrying out on virtual and off-site referral assessments around the United Kingdom, as required.
• Contribute to child related reports, including looked after children and annual review reports as required, and assist with the collation of these as and when required, in a timely manner and in line with organisational targets.
• Utilise patient reported and standardised outcome measures for each allocated child/young person and complete in a timely manner.
• Assess, evaluate, and recommend discharge/transition plans for children/young people within the multidisciplinary team framework.
• Provide clinical cover across the service during episodes of staff shortage/heavy workload, in order to ensure effective service delivery.

This strategic role sits at the heart of our development team, building and maintaining a data-led pipeline of high-impact donors to advance ZSL’s conservation science, fieldwork, and education. By leading on prospect research, philanthropic analysis, and network mapping, the postholder will help ensure ZSL’s fundraising efforts are focused, proactive, and aligned with our organisational priorities.

Following the implementation of a new CRM system, the Prospect Research Manager will also play a key role in embedding best practices in data management and prospecting across the team. From crafting research tools to spotting new funding opportunities, this role will directly support the success of ZSL’s fundraising programmes and, ultimately, our mission to save wildlife around the world.

This is a part-time role, with the option of working either 2 days (15 hours) or 3 days (21.5 hours) per week. • Involve service users in the design, development, and delivery of the service.
• Engage with a wide range of professionals (some of whom may have very different approaches to problem solving) through a multi-agency approach, and advocate to agencies on behalf of the Project and its service users.
• Promote coordinated, joined-up service delivery for service users between violence against women services and drug and alcohol agencies, mental health, housing, health and legal agencies.
• Contribute to a service-wide communications plan and ensure that information about the service is widely available locally to other agencies and is also readily accessible to potential service users.
• Educate a wide range of agencies and stakeholders about the challenges faced by women experiencing multiple disadvantage.
• Contribute to monitoring and evaluation of the Project
• Be self-motivated to research processes and services in order to fully support and advocate for the women.
• Fully engage with the team and all support and team spaces offered, supporting colleagues with the difficulties they face and celebrating positive outcomes.
• Attend regular supervision sessions with your Line Manager
• Attend case review meetings and contribute to effective team communication.
• Ensure that creative and effective relationships are established with other teams and external organisations, particularly those that offer a service to our service users

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Some experience in providing emotional and/or practical support to women who have experienced VAWG, homelessness or multiple disadvantages.
• Knowledge of the particular needs of women from diverse communities and the barriers to accessing support faced by women from a global majority background.
• Experience of working in partnerships with other agencies e.g. signposting, making referrals, supporting with appointments
• An understanding of the impact of trauma on women experiencing abuse
• Awareness of the intersection between severe and multiple disadvantages and VAWG, and an understanding of how the intersection of these issues can make it difficult for people to engage with support.
• A good knowledge of safeguarding practice and procedures
• Ability to provide strengths-based support.
• A resilient and assertive approach to reaching out to and building trust and positive relationships with women who have complex/multiple needs and who may present as reluctant to engage and/or may be presenting in crisis.
• Excellent organisational, ICT, written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of current safeguarding legislation, frameworks and procedures and practical application.

Tooting Works (TW) is a business centre and community hub in Tooting Broadway, offering office space, co-working, an event space and more. It has been offering affordable office space and helping local businesses and organisations to flourish and grow for over 30 years. 

Business Launchpad operates on-site at Tooting Works and is a registered charity which provides support and training for entrepreneurs aged 16-30 years from across London who want to set up their own business. 

Role Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth, efficient, and compliant day-to-day operation of the business centre. This includes oversight of facilities management, health & safety, lettings, team leadership, and budget management. The role ensures the business centre is well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and operational performance is continuously improved. Reporting to senior leadership, the Operations Manager contributes to strategic planning, drives efficiencies through systems and digital tools, and plays a vital role in sustaining high occupancy and tenant retention.

Role Responsibilities:

Centre Operations Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business centre, ensuring all facilities are well-maintained, compliant, and running smoothly.
• Ensure the lettings process is well-managed and aligned with policies.
• Implement and monitor operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality, including opportunities to digitise processes and services.
• Contribute to strategic operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges in collaboration with senior management.
• Report regularly on KPIs, occupancy, operational issues, and budget status to senior management.

Building Maintenance

• Oversee the upkeep and preventative maintenance of the property, ensuring high facility standards.
• Manage and coordinate external contractors and service providers (e.g., cleaners, engineers).
• Monitor maintenance budgets and project timelines, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular building inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Drive sustainability initiatives, including energy efficiency and waste reduction.
• Maintain and develop use of CMMS (MaintainX) to manage and record all maintenance work.
• Maintain the Visitor Management System and ensure it is used appropriately and consistently

Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with UK health & safety regulations, including risk assessments and fire safety.
• Develop and monitor health & safety procedures tailored to the site.
• Organise relevant training for staff and enforce contractor compliance.
• Maintain accurate H&S records, incident reports, and lead periodic audits.
• Support development and execution of emergency response and business continuity plans.
• Fire safety responsibility (Fire Safety designated person)

Lettings and Lease Management

• Oversee the Assistant Lettings Manager and monitor the development and execution of the lettings process from enquiry to move-in, including viewings, negotiations, and onboarding and offboarding of tenants.
• Check we are maintaining up-to-date tenancy records,
• Draft lease documentation and ensure timely renewals and support the rollout of any rent reviews.
• Carry out twice-yearly audits of lease documentation.
• Maintain relationships with tenants to support retention and satisfaction.
• Monitor lease management by team, lease compliance and resolution of any lease-related issues.

Customer Service

• Act as a point of contact for tenants, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Foster strong relationships with tenants, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing tenants with the goal of maintaining high occupancy levels.

Financial Management

• Manage the operational budget, ensuring cost-effective management of resources and that projects are delivered within budget.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and service providers to secure cost-effective deals.
• Ensure tenant arrears are regularly monitored and managed.

Line Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage the lettings and maintenance teams, ensuring high performance and productivity.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
• Handle recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding of staff members as needed.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Project Management, or other relevant fields.
• At least 2 years’ experience in operations work.
• Previous experience in Lease management
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Desire to drive operational excellence.
• Line management experience.
• Experience of managing a building, property or facilities beneficial.
• High comfort level with online tools such as MS Office, project management software,
• or similar.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Negotiation and customer service skills.
• Resilient and adaptable with ability to multi-task.
