What does this role do?
As Internal Communications Content Producer, you will:
- proactively find stories across the organisation that showcase the exciting work our teams do, from rehoming to prevention, and turning this into engaging content for various internal channels,
- support the Internal Communications Manager on high-profile projects spanning the whole organisation, such as communicating our organisational strategy across the charity,
- work innovatively and creatively, always striving to reach varied internal audiences and keeping accessibility central to all communication plans,
- provide hands-on support with internal communications activity, from the ongoing management of our intranet to helping produce all staff events and webinars.
Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 4th June 2026, and will take place on Teams.

Our Gateway Drop-In Centre offers nutritious meals, laundry and medical facilities, showers, IT access, phone charging , a safe space to rest and a dedicated Women’s Sanctury.
When members feel ready, our team of expert staff are on hand to support them into suitable accommodation where possible, secure income via paid work or benefits, and provide immigration signposting for those who need it. Once housed, our Move+ programme continues to work with them to ensure they settle into new accommodation with the knowledge, skills, community and hope required to thrive in their new life.
We also run The Bridge, a free six-week evening mental health course open to anyone in the community experiencing mental distress. The programme provides a practical toolkit to support long-term mental wellbeing.
JOB OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVES
This role will play a vital role in advancing 999 Club’s ambitious plans to enhance its status, reputation, and support among both existing and wider audiences. At this pivotal moment in the charity’s history, the postholder will work closely with the Head of Fundraising and Communications and the Members’ Committee to co-develop and implement a bold new communications and marketing strategy.
Building on a recent organisational rebrand, this role will ensure that the voices of those with lived experience remain central to the organisation’s messaging and identity. A key focus will be strengthening internal and external communication, uniting our diverse membership—which includes staff, clients, volunteers, trustees, and supporters—while also reaching new audiences through social media, direct marketing, PR, and media outreach.
A major priority will be the relaunch and expansion of the 999 Club’s Membership Scheme and Patrons Programme, designed to deepen awareness and support for 999 Club across Southeast London and beyond. Underpinning these efforts, the postholder will manage the Donorfy CRM database and ensure the ongoing maintenance and development of our WordPress website.

SUMMARY
Position Title: Head of Programmes (CMDP) Mat-Cover

The Advocacy Academy is an activist youth movement. We serve as the political home for grassroots youth organising and the catalyst for collective action. The lives of the young people we work alongside have been directly shaped by living in an unjust world, and we exist to turn their anger into action.
Young people are often the catalysts for major social change, from the Student Non-violent Coordinating Committee at the heart of the Civil Rights Movement, to the Soweto Uprising mobilising young people to resist the apartheid regime's education policies, to the Sunrise Movement redrawing the electoral map across America, and more recently encampments and protests across the world protesting the genocide in Palestine. How successfully they achieve real and lasting change depends on whether they are organised and whether they have the right strategy and tactics to be effective.
We want youth organising to be enshrined in the UK for generations to come, and for young people to have tangible political power to influence national policy. That’s why we have launched two national coalitions, one around climate, and the other around gender. Each will train organisations across the country to become youth organisers, and work together to bring 100 young people together to identify the strategy and tactics needed to achieve change. These young leaders will organise others and work collectively to build a campaign which shakes the status quo.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

- Managing the monitoring and evaluation of the programme including quantitative and qualitative data, and facilitate the process of ongoing learning being integrated into the programme
- Working with Programmes Leadership Team to coordinate and deliver a holistic safeguarding, wellbeing and pastoral care strategy across TAA’s work with young people
- Responsible for holding the CMDP budget and ensuring that it is managed and spent in accordance with TAA expenses procedure e.g. signing off expenses up to £1,000 expenditure and escalating to Director of Programmes and Partnerships for amounts exceeding this.
2.You will be accountable for the learning design and delivery to include but not limited:
- Leading the design of the CMDP curriculum to agreed TAA standards engaging key stakeholders, e.g. alumni, programmes team, external partners
- Supporting Alumni Changemakers to design, deliver and facilitate social justice workshops in line with established pedagogical approaches at TAA.
- Leading the development of learning journeys for Alumni Changemakers.
- Working during school holidays for camps, and in the evenings to accommodate school hours, which may include regular evening work and unsocial hours during programme delivery.
3.You will be the port of call for the Changemakers and Community Organisers who will help run the programme, and a regular and trusted individual whom the young people know and can connect with. To include but not limited to:
- You will support the Changemakers in co-creating this space with young people in the community and helping them identify ways to bring participants along into the membership.
- You will be managing the Changemakers who are delivering the programme - and updating both the Community Director and Director of Programmes and Partnerships on their progress and development.
- You will hold the budget for the programme - keeping track of expenses and thinking through ways to keep costs down.
- You will ensure that you provide accurate and timely financial information to the budget lead for your work and to the Finance, HR & Operations team
- You will be responsible for holding relationships with Alumni Changemakers and holding the relational culture of the CMDP to ensure we have a brilliant atmosphere for learning, nurturing and growth for Alumni Changemakers, including but not limited to:
- Taking responsibility for the pastoral care of Alumni Changemakers on placement including building the pastoral care approach with the Programmes Leadership Team.
- Taking responsibility for building and nurturing key relationships with fellow social justice activists, organisers and educators in the sector who can support, challenge and inspire our Alumni Changemakers.
- Representing TAA at any applicable events, in the press and in activist circles
- Building and nurturing relationships with alumni/members.
4.You will be accountable for the learning design and development of the Leadership Development Framework. To include but not limited to:
- Designing and developing a cohesive, high-quality curriculum aligned to TAA’s strategic goals and organisational values
- Establishing and embedding a clear pedagogical approach that underpins all delivery and supports effective facilitation
- Creating structured learning journeys that support the progression and development of young people as leaders
- Developing and maintaining facilitator guides, resources and tools to ensure consistency and quality across delivery
- Working with staff and members to ensure curriculum and pedagogy are effectively understood and implemented
- Reviewing delivery, gathering feedback and insights from members, and iterating on the curriculum and approach to continuously improve quality and impact
5.You will ensure that your programmatic activities are managed as well-oiled machines through pulling in the right people at the right time and ensuring that key milestones are met:
- Responsible for ensuring effective departmental administration including delegating key administrative tasks to relevant staff
- You will be working with the Director of Programme and Partnerships, Director of Community, the Safeguarding and Wellbeing Team and others to think about the safety, safeguarding, and wellbeing needs of the young people participating in the programme and beyond.
- You will ensure safeguarding and Health and Safety standards are met across the programmes team and other critical policies and practices within the organisation, working proactively with relevant leads to understand requirements and operationalise effectively
- You will contribute towards risk management standards and ensure Health and Safety standards are met across programmatic and community team
- You will be responsible for managing and overseeing a suite of behind-the-scenes systems, databases and resources which comply with UKGDPR, safeguarding and other legal requirements.
- You will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of the CMDP including the organisation and coordination of venues, food, travel, staff and risk assessments, individual care plans etc.
- Work closely with the development team to align work with fundraising targets and support them in identifying and securing appropriate fundraising opportunities

This varied role requires a proactive self-starter who can work effectively at pace with internal teams and independently with our partners. Key responsibilities:

Working closely with the Head of Marketing and across the Fundraising & Communications team to plan, coordinate and deliver donor acquisition appeals to recruit new individual supporters, using a variety of direct and digital marketing channels.
Regular giving (mostly monthly Direct Debits) are a large part of CBMs donor acquisition activity, and as such, part of this acquisition role is the planning and co-ordination of regular giving conversion, recruitment, retention, and upgrade campaigns.
Donor Acquisition (30%)
- Working alongside the Head of Marketing and external agencies to plan and deliver a supporter recruitment programme, using channels that may include, but not limited to, inserts, press adverts, and door drops. email, paid social media adverts, Pay Per Click Googe adverts, and lead generation activities.
- Optimise the performance (traffic and income) of website fundraising pages, including appeal landing pages and donation platforms. Ensuring pages on the CBM website are engaging to existing and new audiences and utilising Search Engine Optimisation tools.
- Plan and coordinate an off-line and online welcome journey for new supporters to CBM, that will encourage ongoing engagement and long-term support.
- Develop excellent working relationships with existing and new agencies and suppliers, including marketing agencies, writers, designers, print suppliers and mailing houses. Source new agencies and suppliers as appropriate.
Regular Giving (20%)
- As part of the regular giving retention plan, deliver inspiring direct and digital marketing communications and updates to monthly supporters about CBMs work and the people their gifts are supporting. This can involve creating briefs, working alongside freelance copywriters and designers, and managing print and fulfilment suppliers.
- Working alongside our inhouse Supporter Relations team and external telephone fundraising agencies to co-ordinate regular giving conversion, upgrade and retention campaigns over the telephone.
- Deliver, test and refine a welcome and ongoing donor journey for regular giving supporters, across digital, post and phone channels, to update and thank supporters.
Legacy and In-Memoriam Giving (20%)
- Work alongside the Head of Marketing and Senior Supporter Relations Officer to develop marketing plans for legacy and in-memoriam giving.

Aims:
- Ensure every Emergency Department and Critical Care unit has a suitable bereavement suite
- Ensure that bereavement boxes are available at each of these hospitals
- Ensure that immediate bereavement support is available for all affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide a professional counselling service and complementary therapies for those affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide support to individuals who witness the sudden death of a child or young person
- Provide support and training to professionals from any sector who may be affected by the sudden death of a child or young person
- To advocate and campaign on behalf of suddenly bereaved families

2wish has been established since 2012 and has grown from strength to strength. During tis time, we have worked tirelessly to embed our service and ensure that the offer of support is made at the point of death. We offer an immediate, consistent, high-quality and compassionate service to all individuals affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under in Wales and the bordering counties in England, including; Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset, with the plan to continue to roll out support to the whole of England. We work in partnership with professionals who refer int the charity on behalf of families, so they don’t have to trawl through the internet for an organisation who may, or may not, be able to support. We provide immediate, and ongoing, support and are here for as long as our families need us.
Context of role:
2wish supports anyone affected by the sudden and unexpected death of a child or young person aged 25 and under. We are a largely self-funded charity providing support across Wales and in the bordering counties with England, providing immediate casework support, as well as ongoing aftercare services including counselling, alternative therapies, play therapy, support groups, support events and a respite cottage.
Main duties:
Service:
- To coordinate support services including counselling, complementary therapy and play therapy for bereaved individuals
- To receive and contact historic referrals directly from professional agencies, bereaved individuals, or the immediate support team
- To contact all individuals within 48 hours of receiving a support service referral
- To liaise with counsellors, complementary therapists and play therapists to arrange and coordinate support
- To recruit new counsellors and therapists within your geographical boundaries and surrounding areas and build a community of therapists to engage with 2wish
- To deliver awareness training to secondary referral partners in healthcare settings, schools and workplaces on the use of the bereavement boxes, referring into the charity and bereavement awareness
- To set up, coordinate and support in the delivery of the focus support groups
- To plan, organise and attend bi-monthly family and sibling events
- To set-up, coordinate, and chair quarterly 2wish Practitioner Forums for those working to support bereaved individuals
- Attend any other relevant forums
- To co-manage, maintain, and monitor the 2Wish Families Facebook page and ensure appropriate and upto-date content
- To co-manage, maintain, and monitor the Counsellors and Therapists Facebook page and ensure appropriate and on-going training and guest speakers as required
- To send one-year anniversary thinking of you cards to bereaved families
- To work consistently to raise awareness of 2wish in the community and with key partners
- Contribute on the social media platforms maintained by 2wish
- Support in the planning of and attend the annual 2wish Conference
- To submit monthly/quarterly/annual reports to management as required
- To signpost and/or refer to other agencies as required that can provide support as needed
General:
- To be responsible for organising own work agenda, time management and administration
- To keep clear and up to date records on database of activities with families and any ensuing action

It is the nature of the work that tasks and responsibilities are in many circumstances unpredictable and varied. All employees are therefore expected to work in a flexible way and tasks, which are not specifically covered in their job description may have to be undertaken.

What we do for you:
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Normal office hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday, although alternative hours may be worked with line manager agreement. Work outside office hours may sometimes be necessary and will be compensated for by time off in lieu.
Annual leave: 28 days plus bank holidays. Annual leave steadily increases after five years of service. Annual leave and statutory holidays are calculated on a pro rata basis where applicable.
Pension: 2wish operate a contributory pension scheme. 2wish will auto-enrol you into the scheme in accordance with it's auto-enrolment obligations. Full details of the scheme will be provided to you once you are enrolled, including the minimum level of contributions that you will be required to make during your membership (current contributions - employer 3% and employee 5%).
Mileage: A fixed rate allowance is payable for agreed mileage in accordance with our expense policy, undertaken on 2wish business in a private vehicle, over and above your usual journey to your workplace/s.
Location: This post is hybrid based with some travel across the region you are covering, as well as the office.

The role
The post holder will work alongside our Co-Executive Director, Head of Legal and Legal Administrator in developing and managing Foxglove’s legal work. You will develop and drive forward a significant number and range of cases, including the development of case theories, investigating and collecting evidence, drafting correspondence, evidence and submissions. You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing external legal teams, in multiple jurisdictions. This will require you to have the comfort and ability to navigate diverse settings, while also having the insight to weigh up the benefits and challenges of pursuing cases in different jurisdictions. You will serve as an external representative for Foxglove’s work, writing and speaking on topics of relevance. You will also be a sparring partner for others in the team, bringing a creative mindset and political savviness. UK and international travel are required. Flexibility with working hours will sometimes be needed.

Case Development and Management
- Build connections, and listen to affected communities, unearth and pursue issues caused by tech injustice, coming up with innovative legal solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with impacted community members, unions, other lawyers, experts, co-counsel, intervenors, civil society organisations, whistleblowers, and the public.

Person Specification
Essential
- Substantial experience in legal practice and conducting litigation and a demonstrated understanding of litigation strategies.
- Creative thinking and imagination.

- Qualified lawyer in any jurisdiction with at least 10 years of legal experience.
- Significant experience in legal practice in the UK.

Length and Salary
The role is permanent. The annual salary is £88,400 per annum less any required deductions for income tax and national insurance.
Our team works remotely, and this role can be based anywhere. We would prefer you to work within or close to UK office hours, but this is flexible. Our team travels every two months for team days and twice a year for team retreats. This role will include significant UK and international travel.
