About the role 

Breast Cancer Now is looking for a digital product operations manager to ensure our digital platforms remain robust, secure and high performing, enabling us to deliver excellent user experiences to everyone who needs our support.

You’ll play a pivotal role in our digital product operations, overseeing the health and performance of our main website (built on Umbraco CMS) and supporting other digital platforms where needed. Working closely with our managed service providers for hosting and infrastructure, you’ll manage updates, coordinate technical improvements and maintain compliance. Your work will be critical in building strong, reliable foundations for our digital strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented digital team, external agencies and internal stakeholders to keep our platforms healthy, future-ready and delivering impact for people affected by breast cancer.

You’ll have proven experience managing digital platforms and working with developers, with a strong understanding of CMS platforms, hosting, APIs, security and performance optimisation. Familiarity with technical SEO, accessibility standards (WCAG), analytics tools and release management will be key.

The Role

The Role

Active Together is a multimodal prehabilitation and rehabilitation service that has been developed by world leading academics and practitioners at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC) at Sheffield Hallam University and funded by Yorkshire Cancer Research.

Reporting to the Services Manager, The Service Administrator will support the operational and patient-facing functions of the Active Together service. This role involves managing NHS referrals, patient bookings, service appointments, and team administration, ensuring seamless coordination of facilities and resources.

The role involves close collaboration with the Yorkshire Cancer Research Active Together Service team and the Hull University Teaching Hospitals (HUTH) clinical staff delivering the Hull service. You will support the Service Manager in delivering the day-to-day operational management of the service premises. Additionally, you will support the administration involved in onboarding new Yorkshire Cancer Research staff, ensuring a smooth transition into the service. 
 

Specifically, you will:

Patient Flow & Service Coordination

• Process patient referrals and book initial assessments, supporting patient onboarding into the Active Together service.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments, including cancellations, waiting lists, and transport arrangements.
• Assist patients with completing necessary questionnaires.
• Maintain accurate service records including any Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system data and oversee efficient discharge processes.
• Support Service Manager in the management of monitoring and quality assurance data and processes.
• Communicate with service users and stakeholders to provide information about Active Together.
• Support service users in navigating the program and signpost them to relevant health and wellbeing resources.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Support the development, implementation and improvement of service administrative systems and processes.
• Support team administration, including diary management, email monitoring, postal management and staff induction support.
• Oversee stock control for office and service consumables and manage third-party cleaning and maintenance contracts.
• Facilitate room bookings for service appointments, team meetings, and events.
• Undertake minute-taking for team meetings.
• Maintain a welcoming and professional environment, ensuring high standards of customer service.
• Manage service facilities ensuring cleanliness, presentation, and functionality.
• Report and escalate safeguarding concerns in line with Yorkshire Cancer Research policies.

Financial & Procurement Management

• Process purchase orders, invoices, and expenses as required.
• Maintain optimal stock levels for patient literature and welcome packs, service equipment, office, and centre supplies.

Other duties

• Support service data collection and evaluation initiatives.
• Provide cover during staff absences and assist in general administrative duties.
• Ensure compliance with mandatory training, governance procedures, and service improvement initiatives.
• Be trained as a First Aider and Fire Marshal and manage the rota for First Aid and Fire Marshal cover

About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• To be educated to GCSE level (or equivalent qualifications /experience) to include English Language at grade 4/C or above.
• To have NVQ 3 Business Admin or Customer Services or equivalent experience
• To have demonstrable short courses or equivalent experience in report writing, data collation and analysis of results
• To have experience in administrative role(s) within healthcare or service-based environments
• To have experience of Lorenzo/Patient Administration Systems, databases and information systems

Tasks

Under the supervision of the Head of Legal Services:

1. Ability to safeguard vulnerable adults

3. Interview clients face to face or by telephone in order to understand why they have been refused and what steps can be taken to challenge this and so access housing and support

The role includes responsibility for team leadership, and database management, with a focus on generating new income streams and maintaining compliance. About the role 

This new role of Fundraising Manager at Caring in Bristol is vital to the development of unrestricted income.  As a charity we rely on the generosity of the communities of Bristol, from individuals to businesses, community organisations to educational facilities.  The postholder will create and deliver innovative fundraising campaigns and supporter communications that engage and inspire supporters, maximise donor retention, and increase lifetime value. 

The role will be responsible for the growth of income from Individual Donors and Major Donors, and oversee Community and Corporate income.  Working with the Head of Fundraising you will also scope out and help to implement potential new income generation opportunities.

Individual Giving  

You will help shape and take ownership of implementing our individual giving strategy in line with organisational fundraising goals, creating and delivering individual giving appeals, designing and optimising donor journeys, and ensuring all supporter communications are engaging and effective. By leveraging an analytical approach to data segmentation, you will deliver highly targeted and relevant donor experiences. 

The role will lead on our use of our CRM system (Donorfy) ensuring supporter’s data is collected effectively and used in compliance with data protection legislation. You will champion the use of Donorfy, making sure it is being used to its full potential. 

With this data you will manage segmentation, using a targeted approach to ensure we optimise the return on investment of our appeals and fundraising activities. 

Additionally, you will manage our Gift Aid process to ensure both compliance and maximised income and oversee meaningful engagement with individual givers - ensuring all supporters are acknowledged in a timely, personalised manner and provided with tailored marketing materials at key intervals. 

Major Donors  

A key aspect of the role is designing and executing effective cultivation and stewardship plans for both current and prospective major donors, ensuring relationships are nurtured over time. You will also work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and Board members, mobilising their involvement to foster and strengthen connections with our most significant supporters. 

You will develop and deliver tailored fundraising campaigns for major donors, manage and update the major donor database, and conduct thorough research to identify new prospects, preparing insightful briefing notes and supporting materials. 

Line Management and Reporting  

You will line-manage, support and develop the Corporate & Community Coordinator and Fundraising Assistant, providing effective leadership in the development of our proposition to organisations and supporters. 

You will support the development and effective implementation of fundraising plans, helping the Head of Fundraising to ensure that all strategies align with our organisational goals. 

You will be tasked with supporting the reporting from the department around particular income streams, these reports will be both financial and non-financial, detailing the work of the department and progress against targets.

About You 

You’ll have excellent communications skills, be an adept writer, a warm and engaging individual with solid fundraising experience and knowledge of Individual Giving and Major Donor Fundraising.  You will also have a keen eye for detail.

We are a small and incredibly busy department: The Royal Conservatoire is an internationally recognised institution, and the only performing arts conservatoire in the UK that offers training in all the main performing artsdisciplines. 

You are: Someone who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a passion for philanthropy and the arts. You will have strong research and analytical skills, and the ability to identify potential supporters, including High-Net-Worth (HNW) individuals, corporates, and trusts and foundations. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, you will be skilled in developing strategies to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders, particularly across the UK, North America, and other priority recruitment and fundraising regions for RCS. Your approach will be evidence-based and strategic, aligning with the wider ambitions of Scotland’s national conservatoire.

About the role

Reporting in to the Head of Multi-Country Cluster (MCC), the Operations Lead for the East and Southern Africa region is a member of the senior leadership team and provides strategic and representational leadership for the cluster on operational excellence, making things happen for programme colleagues and partners across multiple countries and connecting with other departments to facilitate programme and advocacy impact, aligning with organisational values and goals.

The post-holder will manage internal operations for effective programme delivery across the MCC, including ensuring that partners
(active, inactive, new) are supported with capacity assessments (POCRA), in line with Charter for Change commitments, and putting in place systems and procedures to ensure swift, compliant funding flows to partners in high-risk environments in line with Christian Aid’s risk appetite to maximise impact.

The role will ensure compliance to Christian Aid grant making policies though close cooperation with finance and partnership leads.

Some of the main areas of responsibility for the Operations Lead will include:

• Drive our systems to enable better high-performance and delivery of strategy at MCC, aligning with organisational values and goals.
• Foster a mindset of connection and collaboration across the priority countries that enable portfolio leads to achieve success. 
• Foster a team mindset to ensure that the Business Insight and Process Improvement Team work alongside the Tech Team to support improvements in ways of working and build towards operational excellence through systems developments and improvements to maximise impact. 
• Manage our risk appetite by planning well, having agile budgets, invest in innovation while maintaining our integrity as a UK registered charity and a going concern. 
• Drive the team to ensure adaptability and agility of our programmes, keeping our organisation lean, finding cost-effective solutions and streamline decision making to enable flexible and responsive to evolving needs and contexts within the MCC.
• Oversee the digital platforms to ensure they secure and provide new ways to engage communities and develop new innovative technological use (including where AI is applied), to listen to and work with CSOs and other partners, as well as provide exciting and decolonial ways to gather data about impact across the MCC. 
• Manage internal operations for effective programme delivery and ensure cost efficiency by considering whether repetitive and/or non-core activities are best provided by a third party via outsourcing to finding cost-effective and streamlined solutions.

The Philharmonia Orchestra is seeking an organised, analytical and proactive Development Research and Operations Manager (DROM) to support the growth in fundraising activity of a busy and ambitious orchestra. The post-holder will deliver high-quality philanthropic research, pipeline and CRM management, the creation of donor briefings for individual, corporate and trust supporters, and horizon scanning for new and future opportunities. 

As the department’s research and CRM lead, the DROM will generate prospect research on those suggested by senior volunteers (Board, Development Board etc.) and those identified in our database, Tessitura. They will support fundraisers across giving streams to create engagement and cultivation plans, and act as the pipeline management champion for the team. The DROM will support fundraisers to ensure activity and contacts is logged consistently, working closely with the Head of Development to monitor KPIs, track and record income and maintain accurate donor and donation records. 

This position is central to ensuring that frontline fundraisers can focus on income generation, supported by robust operational processes, accurate data, and high-quality research. 

This role reports to the Head of Development and will work closely with the Senior Development Manager (Philanthropy) and Director of Development. The work of the Development team is actively supported by the Philharmonia’s Development Board. 

Key Responsibilities 

Research and Pipeline Development:

• Identify, qualify and research prospective major supporters, including individuals, corporates and trusts

• Prepare tailored profiles and high-quality briefings to staff and senior volunteers for meetings and events

• Maintain and refine the prospect pipeline, ensuring clear pipeline management stages and next actions for prospects

• Conduct due diligence research as required for donor engagement

• Implement improvements to pipeline management process 

• Track sector trends and philanthropic activity to inform prospecting and cultivation

CRM, Data and Insights:

• Be the Tessitura CRM and financial process (such as Direct Debits and Gift Aid) lead for the Development team, maintaining accurate, timely, and GDPR-compliant records

• Develop and implement systems, workflows and reporting tools to support a data-led fundraising approach such as in membership acquisition

• Produce regular income and pipeline reports that support departmental planning and forecasting

• Generate guest lists and attendee profiles for events

Department Operations:

• Support the Head of Development with the timely production of proposals, reports and other donor communications

• Work with the Learning and Engagement department to identify and promote opportunities that support fundraising, such as project visits, project pipeline and evaluations. 

• With colleagues, ensure the smooth scheduling and preparation for donor meetings and project visits

• Support the Head of Development and Director of Development in preparation of materials for Board, Development Board and other strategic meetings.

• Reporting and Administration:

• Support the Head of Development in regular moves management and revenue reporting across the department

• Create and maintain updated gift processing workflows including invoices, bank transfers, reconciliation and reporting

• Ensure the highest standard of data capture, financial processes and record-keeping, consistent with GDPR and best practice

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date records and fulfilment of donors’ accreditation and recognition requirements

• Represent the Philharmonia at events and externally when required

• Support the work of the Department and other duties reasonably required by the Philharmonia

Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

• Understanding of different fundraising income streams and the donor cultivation cycle

• Experience of philanthropic prospect research and data analysis

• High levels of organisational skills and attention to detail

• Understanding and experience of using a CRM database (Tessitura is an advantage)

• Understanding of fundraising and data protection regulation (including HMRC Guidelines, Gift Aid, GDPR and the Fundraising Regulator)

• Experience in handling financial and transactional data, and producing financial reports

• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities

• High-level of IT literacy, including the Microsoft 365 suite.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

• Interest in and appreciation of the arts
