ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join our central HR team. You’ll support a group of academies, providing expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations, and workforce initiatives, while contributing to projects that shape the future of education.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivery of a generalist HR advisory service to the Federation and our Academies, providing up to date and informed HR guidance and support on HR policies, processes and systems
- Providing professional advice and support to Federation and Academy leaders in all areas of HR practice and employee relations such as grievance, disciplinary, performance management and sickness absence management, escalating complex cases as appropriate to the Head of HR and HR Business Partners
- Supporting the HR Business Partner with organisation change programmes including redundancy, restructuring and TUPE transfers; preparing documents, supporting planning, due diligence completion etc.
- Participating in the development and delivery of HR policy skills workshops for line managers and academy HR
- Assisting with end-to-end employee lifecycle and payroll processes
- Preparing HR documents and create and maintain templates
- Producing management information reports
- Evaluating job descriptions and providing advice and guidance on salary bandings to ensure a consistent and fair approach

You should be able to demonstrate:
- Experience providing generalist HR advice on terms & conditions, application of policies and first line employee relations
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law & current HR practice
- Qualifications to degree level, or equivalent experience
- At least part qualification to CIPD Level 5 or equivalent by experience with a willingness to study
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Confidence and ability to develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels

Responsible to: Programme Manager: Safeguarding Partnerships Community engagement work –
Work as part of a dynamic team delivering the Safeguarding on Transport (ST) project, in partnership with British Transport Police (BTP). You will be responsible for developing our community engagement work in the West Midlands, as well as supporting the wider UK work. This work consists of developing the Safeguarding Action Groups (SAG) and also encouraging members of the local rail industry to engage with our training and become part of the safety net for vulnerable young people on the rail network. The role will require working closely with British Transport Police, station staff and employees as well as local services in the area.

Key responsibilities
Fundraising and income generation
- Work with Impetus CEO and SMT to support the delivery of the Impetus strategy and business plan and deliver the public affairs milestones to time and within budget.
- Champion and contribute to embedding equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) across all areas of Impetus' work, ensuring that EDI principles related to Impetus’ mission are reflected in advocacy, stakeholder engagement, communications and public positioning.
- Vision setting and strong line management of the Public Affairs team, developing their capabilities, representing the team at SMT and to the Board and ensuring it continues to make a valuable - and valued - contribution to the achievement of Impetus’s objectives, through building and implementing high quality work plans for the team and ensuring the wider Impetus team is aligned on these.

About the Role
You will:
- Provide direct advocacy support to children and young people with disabilities, in and on the edges of the care system. You will hold a caseload, and be committed to championing the rights of these young people, working with a broad range of other stakeholders and agencies to do so.
- Support with developing the quality of services and projects delivered by Coram Voice to children and young people. This includes under Coram Voice’s Disability Outreach Project. It is an exciting time to join this project, which has recently expanded to include educational advocacy in addition to social care focused advocacy.
- You will support in the promotion of good practice across both Coram Voice and external organisations, building equitable and inclusive practice across the sector for children and young people with disabilities.
Our advocates will have relevant experience with children and young people, and may hold a suitable Advocacy Qualification. For the right candidate, we may also be able to offer this post as a Trainee position, and offer support to gain qualifications. The salary offered will reflect the candidate’s experience and skills.

Summary
We are seeking a proactive and diligent Compliance Officer to join our Recruitment and Operations team. You will be responsible for providing a robust compliant onboarding service for all successful applicants to our awardwinning Tutoring Programmes; ensuring all candidates are ready and fully eligible to start their delivering tuition sessions in colleges across the country. Key Responsibilities:
Compliance and Onboarding:
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring all pre-employment checks (Right to Work, DBS, references, and safeguarding requirements) are completed accurately and on time.

Job purpose
To support Debt Advisers in their roles and ensure that the advice provided to overindebted Clients is accurate, effective and tailored to individuals’ circumstances. To support, and regularly audit delivery partner organisations, ensuring that they are prepared for external reviews of their service in line with their Grant Agreement.
Scope of role
The Debt Technical Supervisor is responsible for supporting Debt Advisers to ensure the delivery of accurate, effective, and tailored advice to over-indebted clients. This role involves conducting debt-advice interview observations, reviewing case files, and identifying training needs for advisers. The Debt Technical Supervisor provides real-time support and constructive feedback, helping advisers navigate complex cases and ensuring they have access to the necessary resources and information. Additionally, the role includes auditing delivery partner organisations to prepare them for external reviews and supporting them in meeting compliance and quality standards. The supervisor will collaborate with the Quality Assurance Manager to promote best practices, address risks, and contribute to the continuous professional development of advisers.

Key Responsibilities

Donation Processing
- Responsible for the timely recording and processing of all incoming donations (including via our website, bank account, third party platforms and cheques) into the Medair UK CRM (Salesforce).

- Maintain up-to-date records of donors, staff and other contacts in the Medair UK database.

We are recruiting a Governance Co-ordinator to join our Governance Team at the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association. This is a key role providing essential company secretariat support to the Board of Trustees, Committees, the CEO Office and the Head of Governance & Compliance. As Governance Co-ordinator, you will help to ensure the Association maintains the highest standards of governance through efficient administration, effective meeting support and accurate record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Governance & Compliance to provide efficient and effective administration for Board and Committee meetings, including maintaining the meeting calendar and timetables.
- Organise logistics for meetings, including dates, venues, travel and accommodation.
- Provide full secretariat support to the Board and Committees, including preparing Chair briefings, attending meetings, drafting minutes and actions.
- Collate and distribute papers and presentations in line with agreed timescales, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Liaising with senior leadership, Trustees and others at senior levels on all aspects of Board and Committee meetings.
- Prepare, proofread, collate and distribute Board and Committee papers and presentations on time.
- Provide administrative and planning support for the Annual General Meeting and Trustee elections.
- Assist the Head of Governance and Compliance with implementing recommendations from governance reviews, including updating templates, policies and processes.
- Maintain accurate statutory records with Companies House and the Charity Commission.
- Manage the Board of Trustees SharePoint page.
About You:
- Experience of Board or Committee administration, including minute taking and organisation of Board/Committee meetings.
- Experience of working with meticulous attention to detail accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Experience managing confidential information with discretion and diplomacy.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills, with experience of building effective relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and MS Teams, including experience of supporting hybrid meetings.
- Awareness of the principles of good governance.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a successful programme of corporate fundraising to reach an agreed annual target. This will include managing our current corporate supporters, maximising their potential and securing new corporate support
Key responsibilities include:
To develop and grow Young Epilepsy’s existing strategy for raising money from corporates
To account manage all existing corporate relationships ensuring that the relationship is developed to its maximum potential with first class stewardship
To proactively identify and secure new corporate relationships in line with the organisation’s business plan and priorities

What’s the job?
This maternity cover role will have a significant and stabilising impact, ensuring co-ordination in governance, HR, and compliance for the Union of Brunel Students. The postholder will act as a key operational anchor, supporting legal integrity, staff wellbeing, and organisational continuity.
We are seeking an experienced and proactive individual to step into a vital fixed-term position during the maternity leave of our Head of People and Compliance. This role ensures continuity and excellence across governance, HR coordination and legal compliance.
You will work closely with the Trustee Board, Senior Leadership Team, and Union staff to uphold high standards in documentation, policy, and people management.
From servicing board meetings to managing recruitment and GDPR processes, your work will be central to our success, promote a positive workplace culture and supporting the Union’s mission to be a trusted and effective organisation for students, staff, and trustees.
This is a Fixed term role, completing on the 22nd May 2026.
Who you are:
You are a highly organised, empathetic, and values-driven professional with a passion for good governance and inclusive practice.
With excellent literacy and numeracy skills, you bring an understanding of charity, education, or similar sectors, alongside a working knowledge of key legal frameworks like GDPR, charity law, and equality legislation.
You will have experience of co-ordinating governance processes, supporting recruitment, and managing sensitive information with discretion and care. Whether you are preparing agendas, taking minutes, or liaising with trustees and senior leaders, you do so with clarity, professionalism, and integrity.
Your attention to detail is second to none, and you thrive in busy environments—juggling deadlines, solving problems independently, and adapting to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders.
