Working Hours: 30 to 37 Hours per week

Herts Young Homeless is an independent charity and has been supporting vulnerable people in Hertfordshire since 1998. We are professional, passionate, collaborative and supportive charity that provides guidance to everyone who is in need of support.
We are looking for dedicated and passionate Events Officer to join our team based in Hatfield!
How will you make a difference?
Manage, develop and evaluate an engaging programme of events fundraising, and support the Community Fundraising Officer when delivering local events to raise a target income of £90k . Support groups and individuals organising fundraising events and activities on behalf of hyh. To support the development and delivery of the Communications Plan.

What will you be doing?
Contribute to hyh’s overall Fundraising strategy as a member of the Fundraising Team
- Identify, develop and support existing and new community and events fundraising activities to increase and generate significant net income and supporter engagement
- Provide excellent donor care for all fundraising activities, to develop productive and lasting relationships with the community and convert them into loyal supporters
- Assist the Head of Fundraising & Communications in the development and delivery of hyh’s Events and Communications Plans
- Update donor CRM databases and website

GFS is a feminist organisation with a mission to empower girls and young women in England and Wales to live their best lives. Girls as young as 6 tell us that they cannot be themselves. This is an exciting role with an opportunity to lead the charity into the 150th Year of delivery and with a new strategy to address need. Working with colleagues across the organisation, they provide members of the public and organisations with opportunities to engage with Battersea and to support our work. This team is looking for someone to join them as a Challenge and Public Events Assistant on a 6-month contract, to be the first point of contact for fundraising products, In-Celebration and community supporters, as well as our carol concert attendees, delivering exceptional supporter care and building long-lasting relationships. They will also provide administrative support to the Senior Challenge & Public Events Officers to deliver a portfolio of fundraising events and activities, as well as take the lead on small projects.
This will be a rewarding opportunity to play a role in giving the dogs and cats in our care a better life, and we are looking for someone who has experience of delivering outstanding supporter/customer care, is able to work collaboratively with colleagues from other teams, and has a full, valid UK driving license and is confident driving vans and other vehicles.
