About the role

Over the coming year, The Drive Partnership is looking to review, update, and design new training to offer to The Drive Project workforce. To lead this work, we are recruiting a Drive training team made up of a Senior Training Lead, Training Lead and Training Coordinator.

This role offers a unique opportunity to support the upskilling of The Drive Project workforce and advance The Drive Partnership’s mission to end domestic abuse and protect victims by disrupting, challenging, and changing the behaviour of those who are causing harm.

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.

Contract: Fixed term until March 2026 with potential for 12-month extension to March 2027 - pending funding confirmation.

Legal Counsel

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Counsel to join the Chief Executive's Office. Your role is to provide general legal advice; to act as commercial counsel, assisting in reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, ensuring these are fit for purpose and to manage any potential commercial disputes.

This is a great opportunity to join us as the new Chief Finance Officer. About the roles

Executive Assistant

This role will support the smooth day-to-day functioning of the CEO’s office, helping manage key processes, communications, and external relations. Key responsibilities include:

· Managing the CEO’s diary, inbox, travel and meeting logistics

This varied and rewarding role provides hands-on support to our helpline and external communications work. You’ll be helping our volunteers offer accurate and empathetic support to the public while also assisting with digital content, social media and outreach campaigns.

Key responsibilities include:

· Supporting helpline volunteer coordination, training and performance

· Helping develop and maintain helpline resources and records

· Creating and publishing content for our social media and website

· Supporting email marketing, digital analytics, and campaign promotion

· Assisting with press releases, stakeholder communications and events

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, has strong communication skills, and an interest in digital content and community engagement.

Main responsibilities

• Assist the Fundraising Manager with income-generation activity across the organisation.

• Support the Fundraising Manager with the execution of the fundraising strategy.

• Assist Fundraising Manager with Major Donor fundraising.

• Work to ensure that you and the Fundraising Team’s KPIs and targets are met.

• Take ownership of all direct marketing campaigns including postal and online appeals, upgrade and reactivation mailings, email campaigns, regular giving recruitment and lead generation.

• To lead on all fundraising logistics, which includes having full responsibility for the incoming and outgoing post.

• Coordinate paid recruitment by collaborating with the Digital Engagement Team and work on supporter journeys, with sign-off from the Fundraising Manager.

• Provide monthly analysis and reports on fundraising campaigns/appeals and recruitment of new supporters/grants.

• Research new funding opportunities.

• Write and coordinate applications for financial support from appropriate trusts and foundations.

• Regularly check in on prospective trusts and foundation donors/application progress and reporting.

• Coordinate, attend and assist with organising events. 

• Ensure that supporter records are all kept up to date (in-keeping with GDPR guidelines) on the database/CRM. 

• Ensure that supporter journeys are regularly assessed and of the highest standard. 

• Be responsible for handling fundraising queries from supporters and ensuring they are answered promptly and appropriately.

• Recruit and manage (1-2) fundraising volunteers to further support the Fundraising team and activities.

• Craft strong fundraising/marketing copy for the organisation as a whole

• Contribute to Free Tibet’s twice annually printed magazine, where needed.

• Support the Fundraising Manager with budgeting and spotting key areas of success/failure and aiding in the prompt response to either situation. 

General responsibilities

• Assist with responding to queries from supporters and donors on a daily basis.

• Participate in weekly team meetings and monthly finance/fundraising meetings.

• Support the Head of Income in all areas of fundraising activities. 

• Assist with the smooth running and financial sustainability of the organisation.

• Aid in the day-to-day running, migration and organisation-wide implementation of a new Client Relationship Management (CRM) system. 

• General administration duties. 

Person Specification

Essential 

• Clear passion and interest in fundraising — whether it be learning new skills or developing this area of expertise. 

• Some experience securing and/or managing individual giving OR major donor fundraising.

• Strong communication skills (internally with other colleagues and externally with supporters) including the ability to write clear and persuasive fundraising copy.

• The ability to write applications to secure grants from trusts and foundations and reporting.

• Ability to take initiative, manage competing priorities and ensure deadlines are met.

• Commitment to Free Tibet’s mission. 

Desirable

• CRM and fundraising analysis experience.

• Digital fluency in direct relation to fundraising i.e. email marketing and social media.

• Some experience managing staff or volunteers.

• Experience working in a third-sector organisation would be an advantage.

The role

We are looking for an experienced part-time NEBOSH or IOSH qualified Health and Safety Manager, who will lead manage and develop our health and safety requirements and responsibilities around working outside and around water.

We have a health and safety management plan which following on from our Health and Safety audit, has outlined the framework for this role and what is needed to be implemented over the next 12 months.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Work with both Head of HR and Operations Manager on certain aspects of office Health & Safety with as and where necessary
• Project manage and deliver all requirements of the new created H&S Management Plan
• Work with managers on Construction Design Management (CDM) health and safety
• Track and ensure that risk assessments are being completed within teams for events and elsewhere where required in Thames21
• Work with HR and line managers to ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) are created, updated and reviewed periodically
• Deliver the H&S induction session with new joiners when and where applicable
• Work with the Operations Manager to ensure vehicle checks are conducted in accordance with the vehicles policy, and that all drivers are trained in the use of the inspection checklists and all aspects of vehicle inspection.
• Compile a quarterly incident report to the Head of HR
• Manage the incident reporting system, escalating serious incidents (including risks) to senior management

• Manage a programme of safety audits to reporting these to the management team
• Manage and run the quarterly H&S group meetings and keep track of progress of actions that have been assigned
• Conduct training sessions on other related health and safety as and when required
• Other duties commensurate with the role
