The Opportunity

We are seeking a Partnerships Manager to join our team.  This is an exciting opportunity to join our Business Development Team and make a significant contribution to delivery of the charity’s high quality services to children and young people, providing them with opportunities and inspiration to enable them to achieve their potential, create a positive future for themselves and open doors to their success.

If you are self-motivated, enthusiastic and confident with experience in successfully securing, managing and developing partnerships from initial prospect research through to contracting and ongoing management, then this role is for you. Working alongside the Director of Business Development and Partnerships, you will support and contribute to the charity’s business development strategy with responsibility for managing activity including raising funds for Inspire from a range of sources including corporate partnerships, community fundraising, trusts and foundations.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

1. Writing and submitting applications for new funding to statutory bodies, trusts, foundations and corporates.

2. Researching funding opportunities, competitors and market trends.

3. Developing and maintaining an annual calendar of community fundraising activities.

4. Identifying new business development opportunities and developing a pipeline of opportunities and proposals.

5. Management and growth of Inspire's entry to mid-level corporate partnerships.

6. Working with delivery team colleagues to ensure funders’ reports are completed on time and to a high standard.

You will lead a team of two Database Officers and coach them to becoming a highly effective team.

Person specification​

You’ll be a confident and skilled researcher, a clear, fresh thinker, and an excellent writer. Senior Community and Events Fundraiser, an excellent opportunity to join a long-standing regional Hospice, with Head Office based in Surrey area.

Eden Brown Charities is delighted to be partnering with the amazing Dementia UK to recruit them a Corporate Development Executive with a specific focus on new business. Today, dementia is the leading cause of death in the UK. By 2025, more than one million people in the UK will be living with this often-devastating condition. Millions of us will know someone living with dementia.

About the Role

The role of Corporate Development Executive is incredibly varied and there is a real focus on working with the Corporate Development Manager to secure a diverse portfolio of national Partnerships. You will be responsible for managing a pipeline of prospects, supporting with major new business opportunities and leading on prospect research projects.

You will work closely with colleagues in the account management team to work on partnership opportunities as well as be a key member of the wider Partnerships and Philanthropy team.

About You

You must have had experience in Corporate Fundraising or in new business in the Corporate sector in either a sales or marketing role. You must be a passionate driven, individual who is able to demonstrate a good track record of working towards targets and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.

This role is a hybrid role with one day a week required to work in the Charities Head Office in Aldgate, London.

About You

Are you experienced in new business supporter acquisition in national charities? Have you got 3 years experience winning new business for charities? Are you familiar with community fundraising and supporter engagement? Have you managed a team towards an ambitious target? About the Role

You will lead 2 Business Development Managers directly to deliver a 6-figure team new business target across the country. You will also support the upskilling and support of our Area Fundraising Managers in their local new business endeavours. You will ensure a solid strategy, creative prospecting plan and pipeline management to achieve our agreed targets as well as have your own personal pipeline. You will also support the team in liaising with our national Corporate Partnership team, Marketing teams and more to ensure the team have everything they need to identify, prospect, win and report on new business.

You are joining a passionate team part way through a 3-year strategy implementation that has seen the team forecast to almost double income within 2 years.

Part of the Commercial Directorate which has ambitious growth plans focussed on growing our supporter base.
