The role/ responsibilities:
In recent years, the charity has experienced significant growth—supporting more children, partnering with leading hospitals, and attracting a growing number of dedicated supporters.
The Head of Partnerships and Events will oversee the charities growing portfolio of special fundraising events. You will cultivate strong relationships with supporters who organise events in aid of Noah’s Ark, while proactively identifying gaps in their event offering to ensure a diverse and engaging programme that appeals to a wide range of existing and potential donors.

- To play a key role in the success of annual matching funding campaigns, most especially the recruitment of corporate partners as campaign Champions
- To create annual income and expenditure budgets for Partnerships income streams, effectively overseeing and controlling their delivery through monthly and quarterly monitoring
- To provide monthly and quarterly commentary for Director of Fundraising & Communications to inform regular Trustee Board reports
About you:

Proven experience in corporate and partnership fundraising, with a strong track record of increasing income.

Excellent relationship-building skills, demonstrated through securing significant gifts via face-to-face meetings, phone conversations, and email—always prioritising an outstanding supporter experience.

Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK. As well as experiencing severe, difficult-to-control seizures, children and adults with Dravet Syndrome have varying degrees of intellectual disability and a spectrum of associated conditions (known as ‘comorbidities’), which may include autism, ADHD, behaviours that challenge and difficulties with speech, mobility, eating and sleep.

What you will bring
Essential
· Demonstrable experience in planning and delivering engaging and targeted social media content to build community, raise awareness and drive engagement.
· Hands-on experience managing websites (using WordPress), delivering e-marketing campaigns (e.g. Mailchimp or similar), and applying SEO principles and other techniques to optimise digital communications and online visibility.

The Philharmonia Orchestra is seeking an organised, analytical and proactive Development Research and Operations Manager (DROM) to support the growth in fundraising activity of a busy and ambitious orchestra. The post-holder will deliver high-quality philanthropic research, pipeline and CRM management, the creation of donor briefings for individual, corporate and trust supporters, and horizon scanning for new and future opportunities.
As the department’s research and CRM lead, the DROM will generate prospect research on those suggested by senior volunteers (Board, Development Board etc.) and those identified in our database, Tessitura. They will support fundraisers across giving streams to create engagement and cultivation plans, and act as the pipeline management champion for the team. The DROM will support fundraisers to ensure activity and contacts is logged consistently, working closely with the Head of Development to monitor KPIs, track and record income and maintain accurate donor and donation records.
This position is central to ensuring that frontline fundraisers can focus on income generation, supported by robust operational processes, accurate data, and high-quality research.

Key Responsibilities
Research and Pipeline Development:

The role/ responsibilities:
The Head of Supporter Engagement will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective supporters of Noah’s Ark. You will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding supporter experience—one that makes individuals feel valued, engaged, and fully informed about the impact of their donations.
This role involves developing and implementing effective strategies for donor acquisition, retention, and stewardship, while leading multi-channel communications that connect supporters with the cause. You’ll have the autonomy to innovate and bring creative flair to engagement programmes, guided by data, donor insight, and sector best practice.
You will be a dynamic, adaptable, and highly organised professional, committed to playing a key role in driving income growth. A strong communicator and proven leader, you lead by example and bring a hands-on approach to team management. With significant experience in people and programme management within Public Fundraising, you will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding results.
- Foster a supportive, cohesive, and aspirational team culture, motivating staff to meet and exceed targets while recognising their contributions to the charity’s overall objectives and strategy.
- Effectively recruit, train, and line-manage team members, setting clear objectives and supporting their development through regular supervision, annual appraisals, and adherence to charity policies and best practices.
- Develop a comprehensive supporter stewardship strategy, supported by systematic processes, to engage existing individual givers and fundraisers—as well as new supporters—fostering long-term commitment and regular support for the charity.
- Collaborate across teams to enhance supporter retention, contributing to the design and implementation of sophisticated supporter journey processes that strengthen relationships and increase lifetime value.
- Drive substantial growth in the number of individuals donating to and fundraising for Noah’s Ark by collaborating with team members to create engaging, inspiring fundraising campaigns and events.
- Maintain a steady pipeline of new supporters by developing and promoting ongoing engagement opportunities beyond major campaigns and events.
About you:
- Experience of developing supporter engagement opportunities and stewardship journeys for tens of thousands of supporters at least
- Experience of running an Community Giving, Individual Giving programme, incorporating Legacy Giving, raising at least £0.5m per annum
- Experience of managing a team to deliver exceptional results
- Successful experience of leading direct fundraising marketing campaigns across a range of channels including direct mail, email, social media and telephone
- Experience of highly successful relationship building with a portfolio of supporters, including through face-to-face meetings and telephone conversations

About the Team:
We are seeking a proactive and ambitious Philanthropy Officer to join our team at Princess Alice Hospice. This is an exciting time to join us as we embark on a new programme of transformational change, presenting numerous opportunities to create impactful relationships with individual supporters to significantly boost our income.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Philanthropy and pay a pivotal role in delivering and expanding our Major Gift programme, as part of our busy and highly successful fundraising team which raises over £3 million annually. This is a vital contribution to the £11.5 million needed each year to provide our free, high-quality care to our local communities.
About the role:
This role will work directly to secure income from individual supporters contributing £5,000 or more annually. Working independently and in partnership with the Head of Philanthropy, Trust and Foundation Lead and other senior stakeholders, the Philanthropy Officer will drive donor engagement and development, through focused relationship management, impactful communication and innovative stewardship.
Key responsibilities include collaborating across the Philanthropy team, with fundraising colleagues, and hospice networks to build a robust prospect pipeline and design and implement personalised supporter journeys that track and monitor progress, deepen relationships and secure income.
This role will also be responsible for engagement and communication activities to support the Philanthropy programme, including event management, group communications and appeals.
Candidates who can demonstrate excellent writing, relationship and stakeholder management in other sectors will also be considered.

You are a dedicated and skilled professional with a strong background in fundraising or a related field. Your ability to develop and manage relationships, coupled with your excellent writing and budgeting skills, makes you an ideal fit for this role. What will I be doing?
