Salary: £46,811-£57,416
Full-time: 35 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced fundraiser to lead the fundraising and membership strategy, with a focus on growing and diversifying sustainable income. Alongside fundraising across corporates, trusts and foundations and other sources, the role will lead the membership strategy for EDIS, a national membership coalition hosted by the charity and delivered in partnership with the Francis Crick Institute. There is significant potential to grow membership, sponsorship and other income streams, alongside leading the existing Development team of two.
The charity is looking for an experienced and strategic fundraiser with a strong track record of securing income, managing pipelines and building funder relationships. You will bring excellent communication and relationship-building skills, alongside strong leadership and people-management experience. Corporate partnerships experience would be valuable, as would experience of membership or mixed-income models, but most importantly you will be motivated by the mission and excited by the opportunity to grow and diversify income.
To apply, please submit your CV in the first instance. Should your experience be suitable, we will arrange for a meeting to brief you on the role. You'll then have all the information you need to formally apply. We are looking forward to connecting with you soon.
This charity is a Disability Confident Employer. After you apply, you will receive an email asking whether you wish to declare a disability for this application. As part of this commitment, a fair and proportionate number of disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria for the role will be offered an interview.
At Prospectus we invest in your journey as a candidate and are committed to supporting you with your application. We welcome all candidates to apply, regardless of age, sex/gender, disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, marital status or pregnancy/maternity. If you have any disability and require reasonable adjustment/s to any part of the process then please contact Jessica Stoddart at Prospectus.
