As the Supporter Engagement Officer, you’ll create opportunities for our amazing supporters to connect with and drive our work through various means of individual giving. You'll create engaging communucations, ensuring that our donors feel valued and understand the impact they're having on babies and their families, and you'll develop key appeals and individual giving activity to drive growth in these income streams.

You will:

1. Manage the development of individual giving income streams, including legacy giving, regular giving, one-off gifts, in memory giving and new products
2. Co-ordinate key engagement activity, such as the annual supporter Thankathon and Impact Report
3. Oversee administration and stewardship of individual giving income
4. Manage the promotion, sale and distribution of Lullaby Trust merchandise

This role can be offered as a hybrid role (with approximately one day per week in our London office) or fully remote, with occasional visits to the office for meetings or staff days as necessary; the two salary ranges above reflect this. The 21 hours could be worked across 3-5 days per week.

The Head of Programmes is a critical role for the organisation, responsible for ensuring DEC funded programmes meet programmatic standards, are fully traceable, routinely monitored and comply with organisational procedures and institutional donors’ requirements. This is a new role, working in a dynamic charity built on the aim of improving life for local people. We are a small, passionate team driving programmes to meet our community’s needs in North Kensington.

You will be responsible for overseeing Dalgarno Trust’s Programmes, and line managing our Community Champions Manager, Health Works Manager, Foodbank, Volunteer and Room Bookings Manager and Youth Programme Manager. 

Purpose of the job:

• To maintain effective oversight of the delivery of a range of projects and programmes being managed by designated managers.
• To ensure performance management expectations are being met by each project and programme and reported to appropriate funders, including internal and external stakeholders.

Service delivery management

The role will manage the Donor Acquisition Fundraiser and In-Memory Fundraiser and be responsible for the overall delivery of our individual giving strategy.

As the Individual Giving Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and implementation of our individual giving programme of fundraising and activities, aimed at individuals. It will be the Individual Giving Manager’s responsibility to generate significant income through individual gifts, campaigns and appeals, regular giving, in memoriam giving, lottery and legacies, and to increase activity and income from these sources.

Your primary focus will be on recruiting new donors, retention through a gold standard supporter journey and income growth for these vital areas of fundraising, all while leading a dedicated team. At St Nicholas Hospice Care, the purpose of the Fundraising team is to inspire, engage and retain supporters to maximise voluntary income. We put our patients, families and all who benefit from our services at the heart of what we do and strive to build lasting, value-driven relationships with our supporters. We do this by delivering a portfolio of engaging giving and fundraising opportunities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Supporter Care Manager, a role which will maximise income by delivering high quality donation processing, supporter care and donor journeys, in order to increase the lifetime value of all new and existing supporters through an excellent supporter experience enabling them to feel valued and appreciated

The successful candidate will lead the development, planning and delivery of a sustainable outsourced lottery programe that delivers against income and ROI targets and oversee the management and continuous optimisation of the CRM System (Donorflex) which incorporates all data for fundraising, communications and engagement purposes.

Candidates will have significant experience in customer service, ideally within a not-for-profit or commercial setting. They will also have a sound knowledge of fundraising compliance and best practice, GDPR and gambling commission regulations.

Today, Ochil Tower School is a thriving educational and residential community, where 27 children and young people, aged 8-21, with special and complex additional support needs live, learn and grow together.

The School is part of the Camphill Community which comprises 11 different Camphill sites in Scotland.  

Ochil Tower School is set in seven acres of stunning Perthshire countryside. This enables its children and young adults to feel more relaxed and better able to forge relationships with peers and staff. They are then more able to build self-esteem, confidence and their capacity for resilience.

The School provides excellent care and education and is not short on ambition. In October 2018, it opened a new Life Skills Centre. This facility is for young adults aged 18 – 21 and is designed to help them so that they are better prepared for the challenges of living an independent adult life by developing their skills in learning, life and work. OTS is now focussed on extending the residential provision to 52 weeks. The Board of Trustees have a commitment to further enhancing and developing their residential houses and plans to build new educational facilities for the school.

Ochil Tower School is now looking for a Head of Care who will form a key part of the Leadership Team, working under a highly experienced and dynamic Executive Director.  The Head of Care would be effective in collaborating with the education team, parents and carers and a range of other partners to meet the needs of our children and young people. 

The Head of Care will liaise with members of the school community primarily but will link in with other residential schools and with other external agencies to ensure that the service remains responsive to need, is professional in approach and in line with National Care Standards, as well as Government initiatives regarding residential and day care for children and young people.  The successful candidate will undertake the day-to-day strategic leadership and management of the residential team and ensure effective systems are in place for policies, procedures and monitoring. You should have significant experience of working successfully in a leadership role with proven experience of leading and supporting the development and delivery of operational strategies and associated action plans.

As well as all the skills required of a senior manager, you will need to have a commitment to and respect for the Camphill ideology.

We would emphasise that you need not be an existing Head of Care but a very experienced leader in a sizable organisation who is ready to step into strategic management.
