International Nepal Fellowship (INF) is a Christian health and development charity. Since 1952 they have had a huge impact serving the most disadvantaged people and communities in Nepal.

As Nepal’s longest serving international NGO they continue to have ambitious plans. It is an exciting time to join INF as they enter a bold new strategic phase for 2026 to 2031.

The most disadvantaged communities in Nepal face a lack of access to healthcare, often walking for days to their nearest health post, or being unable to afford even basic treatment.

Kopila, who was diagnosed with leprosy several years ago, is a patient at INF’s Green Pastures Hospital in Pokhara, Nepal.

“Whenever I have to come back to Green Pastures I am grateful that all of the treatment is free, and I am happy because everybody there cares for me and loves me.”

We are looking for a Trusts Officer to join their small, passionate team. This is a fantastic opportunity to ensure INF UK’s key supporters feel valued and connected with the charity. In partnership with Nepali organisations you will support marginalised people to overcome the barriers they face due to issues such as disability, poverty, gender or caste.

Please note that this is a part time role, the hours are 22.5 hours per week (increased hours will also be considered, to a maximum of 30 hours per week).

The Role

As Trusts Officer you will report directly to the Philanthropy and Trusts Manager, supporting them to deliver the highest level of stewardship to donors.

As part of the Fundraising and Communications team, you will make an important contribution towards the development of income from major donors and trusts and foundations.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Write engaging, high quality, tailored applications and funder reports.
• Research trust, foundation and grant-giving prospects to develop a prospect pipeline.
• Ensure key supporters feel valued and connected with the charity.
• Manage and maintain accurate records, administration and budgets.

The Person

We are looking for someone who aligns with INF’s values and is passionately committed to their cause. You must be creative, compassionate and empathetic.

This role requires exceptional organisation and the ability to work proactively with initiative. As a small team being approachable, supportive and working collaboratively is key. Proven experience of building successful relationships both internally and externally is also vital, as well as exceptional written and verbal communications skills.

Prior experience in trusts fundraising would be advantageous, however an understanding of how your skills and experience would be transferable in the role would also be considered.
