To lead the operational delivery of Women in Prison’s services across Wandsworth, Sutton and Merton, including the management of the Wandsworth Hub and line management of two Advocates. Role Purpose:

The Social Change Nest is going through a very exciting growth period and since our Head of Development is going on maternity leave for 4 months from September we are looking for somebody who can join our growing team as soon as possible. The Senior Development Manager will contribute to our FY25/26 income targets and cover part of the functions of the Head of Development while she’s on leave. The Head of Development manages the Development team, which covers the business development, marketing and communications functions, and works with the CEO to ensure that the organisation grows in a strategic and balanced way.

The Social Change Nest is onboarding and supporting hundreds of new groups every year and we are working closely with funders across the UK and worldwide, helping them move large amounts of funding to unincorporated movements at the frontlines of social change. We are spending more time than ever raising awareness on how capital flows impact the ability of communities to create change, and how we can hack the system to enable more money to flow in an equitable way to unincorporated movements.

We are looking for somebody who is excited about all this and ready to hit the ground running. We are in the middle of a large capital raise, so we would like the ideal candidate to join the team as soon as possible to work closely with the Head of Development and the CEO, as well as the rest of the Development team, for 3 months, before the Head of Development goes on maternity leave. The Senior Development Manager will then take over part of the team support responsibilities of the Head of Development and share responsibility for the income targets with the CEO for the months that the Head of Development is on leave.

• Work closely with the Head of Development to deliver our Development strategy for the financial year FY25/26:

About the Role

This is a dual-role position supporting both the Finance and HR functions of the charity. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting budget management, and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. What you will do

Finance

· Post transactions into our accounting software, Xero, ensuring that everything is accurately recorded and coded.

· Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, card payments and expenses, and organise a twice- monthly pay run.

· Perform bank reconciliations.

· Manage the accounts mailbox.

· Complete the quarterly gift aid claims.

· Support the Head of Finance and Resources with the completion of the monthly management accounts, financial reporting and budgeting.

HR

· Maintain up-to-date employee records and keep our HR Information System (Breathe HR) up to date.

Flexibility

Our staff who live in or near London operate on a hybrid model, working in our office within South Bank University (one minute from Elephant and Castle tube station) on Mondays and Tuesdays. Full-time staff work in the office both those days and at home the rest of the week, while part-time staff who live in or near London are required to work in the office on one of those days, and at home for the rest of the week. We also have staff outside London who are fully home-based. We would ideally like the Finance and HR Officer to work in the London office on either Monday or Tuesday (or both if they would prefer that) but we are flexible as to when in the week the remainder of the hours are worked, provided that there is a consistent working pattern each week.

Job Purpose

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for strategic and operational oversight of the effective delivery of the Creating Community Connections Pilot, ensuring the successful delivery of the pilot project, balancing the demands of supporting the various partnerships between funders, providers, and stakeholders to collectively deliver the required impact and ensure contract compliance.

Creating Community Connections is a three-year Domestic Abuse (DA) pilot Project, funded by HMPPS. The project is led by a partnership of women’s centre providers - Women in Prison, Anawim, Together Women, and Nelson Trust and aims to connect women in prisons with vital specialist community support services across the country, especially women's centres and organisations providing support around DA. By connecting prisons and women in custody to a network of local women’s services, we hope to aid resettlement and support engagement with holistic support to meet women’s needs, address root causes of offending, improve outcomes on release and intercept cycles of trauma, disadvantage, and abuse, with a particular focus on DA services. The project will ultimately support women who have experienced domestic abuse and work with them so that their experiences do not negatively influence their opportunity of successful resettlement back into the community.

Prospectus are delighted to be supporting this wonderful charity with their search for a Trusts & Foundations Manager. A full time, permanent role based in London with hybrid working pattern.

This role oversees delivery of the Trusts and Foundations strategy, including researching and identifying suitable prospects, writing funding applications, and account managing existing Trusts and Foundation supporters. Working with and reporting into the Head of Corporate, Trusts and Events, the post holder will be responsible for working across the organisation to ensure that the most accurate and relevant data is being presented in applications to ensure positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in Trusts & Foundations fundraising at a charity, cultural institution or similar organisation, with a proven track record of securing 5 and 6-figure valued grants in support of an organisation’s key priorities and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, collaborative team player with a positive and supportive attitude who embraces and embodies  the charity’s values.

The Role

Support the Finance Department by processing income to the HTB Group and processing the expenditure for one or more HTBG entity.

The majority of work is processing income to the HTB Group but a portion is dedicated to expenditure processing, giving the job holder valuable experience in both areas.

The Key Responsibilities

Income Controller – HTB Group

• Raising invoices, credit notes for all entities across HTB Group
• Recording sales and customer receipts
• Processing BACS, cash, cheque, and card payments for all entities
• Running Aged Debtors reports quarterly and sending balance sheet to all departments.
• Maintaining and updating customer accounts.
• Monitoring credit control
• Running quarterly internal audits to car park book receipts
• Download Bank Statement weekly.
• Processing Income Forms - Cash, Cheques, cards payments
• Processing weekly Carpark cash reports. Offering and Income.
• Processing occasional reimbursements of unauthorised expenses/expenditure from staff
• Investigating unknown bank transactions across all entities
• Recording banked cheques on weekly basis
• Being point of contact for all things income, liaising with event organisers and head of teams for income related queries.
• Income reconciliations each month for the different stripe and square accounts.

Purchase Ledger Controller for one or more of the HTBG entities
• Managing the Purchase Ledger
• Managing the Pay Run
• Ensure all invoices are correctly coded and authorised.
• Ensure all staff expenses are correctly coded and authorised.
• Ensure all staff expenses fall in the staff expense policy.
• Process invoices and expense claims in Access Dimensions
• Ensure all batch payments are accurate and match to payment information.
• Processing Bankline payment runs twice a month.
• Processing urgent payments
• Send out supplier and Staff remittances.
• Deal with supplier and staff enquires/queries.

Miscellaneous
• Help with Cash count when required.
• Support other team members in their duties when required.
• Contributes fully to the day to day operation of the team or area, always seeking to be flexible and with an attitude of service
• Able to deliver routine tasks and resolve straightforward issues

The Ideal Candidate

• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Good knowledge of software packages like Word, Excel, Outlook
• Excellent numeracy skills. Attention to details.
• Ability to work to fortnightly deadlines.
• Good Team working skills.
• Bookkeeping experience would be an advantage.
